The letter of 1 Peter contains many practical implementations of the brief exhortation in verse 16 to "be holy as the Lord is holy." In verses 22-25, Peter reminds us that our blessed regeneration is of an everlasting, imperishable seed. Because this world is temporary, and there really is an eternity, we can face anything with God's help and power. Peter quotes the Old Testament chapter of Isaiah 40 and we are reminded that we are to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. The 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith or LBCF is a good document that outlines the truths held by reformed baptists for the last 330 years!
My hope is to give you some good tips as to how to study such a document so you can benefit from the work that many faithful men of God put into writing it.
The letter of 1 Peter contains many practical implementations of the brief exhortation in verse 16 to "be holy as the Lord is holy." In verses 17-21, Peter outlines exactly how one should aspire to realize this holiness, and the rest of the book is the practical outworking of this command.

Peter mentions an inexpressible or unspeakable joy that will be experienced by believers everywhere, even in the midst of fiery trials. These fiery trials are meant for the good of God's people and are to be rejoiced in by His people. In late June, 2020, I met up with Joe Conkle, Mike Stockwell, Anthony Silvestro, and a few other dear saints to evangelize the lost in Columbus, OH. We intended to preach and evangelize at a "Luciferian March" that we never found. What we found was a Black Lives Matter protest. Here is the audio of our time there. On June 1, 2019, I preached a sermon for the Equip Ohio event in Olmsted Falls, OH. Then I went with several dear saints to the festival for homosexual pride or gay pride (for SEO I have to put that) which was downtown Cleveland.
We rotated through a half a dozen preachers for several hours. This is the audio from one of my open-air sermons. You will also hear a conversation I had with a couple of high school girls who would have labeled themselves as Christians.
