How to Love and Accept Yourself after Divorce

Oh how I had to learn this! Divorce can be hard and take everything out of you. We deal with the battle of having been made to feel unlovable and unworthy after being rejected by the men who vowedto love us through, sickness and health. It doesn’t matter what position you held or the power you have in this world, you lose the security of marriage and the life you had. The insecurity of being alone, blaming yourself for not being good enough or not doing enough. Before you know it your health has gone down and you have no desire to put on any clothes, or fix your hair, or even brush your teeth. All of your strength is consumed in your pity party, not in the opportunity for growth. Yes Growth! Here is your opportunity to find that person you lost in that marriage or become that person you always wanted to be.- It starts with self-love. As painful as it may be, look at yourself in the mirror and express love to yourself, ask the uncomfortable questions and be very honest because this can lead to actualization.

Going through the process, you learn all you need to do is fight for yourself and grow within the experience and your village will be there to provide support on all levels.

Ladies fight for yourself

Here is a quick overview of the book: It is a riveted personal account and how-to guide book that outlines the importance of honoring and valuing our own voice to create life impact. Many of us have lost or misplaced our authentic voice due to life's trauma and circumstances, and there is a need for us to reclaim it!

In this book, I introduce the Four A’s Principle, Awareness, Acknowledgement, Acceptance and Action, as the navigation map for a second chance at healthy relationships with yourself and others, and to discover how to live your authentic truth by walking through the Coming Out process. If you are ready to address your past, your emotions, your power, your voice and your vision to have greater life impact, then this book is for you!

Here are some ways you can support the book launch: Purchase one or more copies here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/173453611X - Paperback or Ebook https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086SHQV4J · Write a review on Amazon and Goodreads. · Think of at least three people who would benefit from this book and let them know about it. · Share news about the book via your social media networks. Sincerely appreciate your support in helping me get this book launched with some great momentum. Let me know if you have any questions or ideas for me. Thank you, Dr. Lisa Cook, LPC, CPC
