I was looking forward to watching "The House of Gucci" after reading the book by Sara Gay Forden (which was great) the movie let's just say was hard to watch. Ridley Scott's 2021 film adaptation of "The House of Gucci" by Sara Gay Forden could have been a brilliant re-telling but in the end turned out to be a recipe of disaster. The movie felt as if each actor was on their own island and no one was connected. Maybe it was the editing, maybe it was the acting, maybe it was the directing. All I know is the movie fell short of my liking.

One thing everyone can universally agree upon is how 2020 has been a challenging year in so many different ways. But for Jennifer McAtee, 2020 has been a mixed bag. She’s gone through a divorce and dared to open a business! You heard that right - she opened her business in November 2020.
Jennifer’s business is a brick and mortar recovery and wellness studio called ReCharge. A history of disease and premature death in Jennifer’s family has paved the way for her interest in health and wellness. This led to a very natural fit for her new business, ReCharge.
In opening ReCharge, Jennifer has peeled back the curtain of wellness and recovery technologies previously only available to elite athletes and made them available to everyone.

Regan “RC” Hahn has had her share of trauma in her life, but she’s not one to let that get her down. She looks at trauma and difficult circumstances as an opportunity to build resilience and become unbreakable.
Lately, RC has been pursuing non-profit philanthropy through her foundation, Adjusting Fate Foundation. She helps bring health and fitness resources to women struggling with sexual and domestic abuse.
RC’s personal story is that health and fitness and her time in the gym saved her life. The gym became her safe place and because of it, her life took a different trajectory.
Since at least 18 years old, RC has had a vision for starting this foundation. She spent some of her career working for other nonprofits and in corporate America all the while with a passion for her own non-profit taking the back burner.
Eventually, she walked away from it all to pursue her own non-profit.
Trauma and brokenness are opportunities to be better once you heal and then you become unbreakable.
Your mind controls your muscles, so in RC’s viewpoint, you can do anything
RC has 2 rules for her classes:
- Have fun because exercise is a celebration.
- Don’t quit. Give 100% all the time, even if your 100% looks different than someone else’s 100%.
There is no doubt that 2020 has not been easy, but we have so much that we are still in control of. RC uses her circle of friends to support her through tough times and difficult circumstances.

In this episode, the hearts and minds behind the Angel Hearts Rescue join us to share the passion they have for helping others. Alice DelBosque and Marie Kissick are truly performing the work of saints.
What makes their rescue different than others is that they work with the homeless and transient populations and their pet companions. Many of their clients have pets that they have rescued and it may be their main connection while they are on the streets.
Not only do they help provide routine veterinary care of shots and check ups, but they help provide the animals with food and spay and neuter services. They truly want to help less fortunate maintain the possession of their animals, but the need for foster care does arise from time to time, so they partner with another rescue to help place animals into temporary foster care, with the hopes that as soon as circumstances change, they can be reunited with their owners.
Alice and Marie have a completely volunteer staff that does this amazing work and help their clients in any way possible. They can use your help with donations and you can even volunteer your time.
