We choose things then blame the fate, but we don't realize we are the creators of our own fates. We plan things, but it doesn't go our way, then we once again choose different things but we ignore how we write our destinies while we make ourselves the hero in our the stories. Then we just recklessly say it's luck and nothing else, we just blame to feel satisfied and keep ourselves sane, unaware it's not always the right thing to do so.
