We dive head first into conversations breaking down things like religion, sex, spirituality and the world around us. And although we now consider ourselves to be somewhere between agnosticism and mystical atheism, we speak from our experiences from our time in the Christian Music Industry and religious upbringing. We bring on a variety of guests to help us demystify the topics that we were once taught to fear or ignore; expanding the lenses with which we see the world through. @deconstruct.pod @laurendeleary @adamfrost.official

First up, we analyze intriguing TicTac sighting info that has puzzled both experts and enthusiasts alike. Then, we explore pilot report statistics that shed light on the strange and inexplicable encounters in our skies.
The perplexing phenomenon of our inability to combat UPAs takes center stage, leaving us questioning our own place in the universe. Our imaginations run wild as we contemplate the chilling scenario of aliens invading our world.
We unravel the startling theory that aliens possess pre-ice-age intelligence, making their existence even more fascinating.
But here's where things get truly mind-bending - the notion that "Aliens are us." Could they be somehow linked to our own species in ways we can't comprehend?
Would you want to see aliens face-to-face? We tackle this thought-provoking question, considering the implications and emotions it evokes.
The mystery deepens as we explore the tantalizing possibility of a Government conspiracy involving aliens. Are there hidden agendas and secrets that we aren't aware of?
Curiosity leads us to question the timing of it all - "Why now?" - as we seek to understand the sudden surge in alien-related discussions and discoveries.
As we ponder the question "Is it a privilege to care?" in the context of extraterrestrial encounters, we're forced to confront our own values and perspectives.
A surprising revelation awaits as we uncover the concept of a "space garage," an intriguing idea that takes us on a journey beyond our atmosphere.
But that's not all - there's a giant red cube that defies explanation and challenges our understanding of reality.
And as if that's not enough, we come face-to-face with the mesmerizing phenomenon of astral projection, transcending the boundaries of space and time.
In the midst of it all, we find time to explore the enduring influence of sci-fi movies, shaping our perceptions of alien life and the cosmos.
Lastly, we contemplate the seemingly unthinkable - "Benefits of Alien invasion." Is there a silver lining to such an event, or is it just a far-fetched notion?
Prepare to be captivated, challenged, and mystified as we embark on this extraordinary journey into the unknown. Join us for an unforgettable episode that will leave you questioning the very fabric of reality!
*Emotional metabolism: how emotional experiences are "processed" or “digested” through the physical and emotional body of an individual.
We delve into the complex relationship between gratitude, responsibility, and the impact of our choices on ourselves and the planet. We start by exploring the practice of solely thanking a god or creator for the food on our plates, without acknowledging the lives of the animals involved. We highlight how this approach can be seen as lazy and a way to escape the responsibility of our actions, contributing to desensitization, which has far-reaching consequences for both humanity and the environment.
Next, we discuss the power of perception and self-limiting beliefs. Our conversation takes a fascinating turn as we explore the idea that if something truly was impossible for us, we wouldn't even perceive it as a possibility. This perspective challenges our notions of self-imposed limitations and encourages us to broaden our horizons.
Furthermore, we address the concept of empathy and its potential pitfalls. While being an empath can be a beautiful gift, it's crucial to avoid getting entangled in someone else's negativity. We share practical tips and strategies on how to maintain healthy boundaries and self-care while still being a compassionate and supportive presence for others.
Finally, we wrap up with a discussion on the fallacy of sacrificing our own well-being to help others. We explore the idea that making oneself poor or sad does not genuinely benefit someone else, but rather, it perpetuates a cycle of suffering. Instead, we challenge you to seek more sustainable and effective ways to contribute positively to the lives of others without compromising their own.
Join us as we navigate the complex dynamics of gratitude, responsibility, empathy, and self-care in our quest for a more conscious and compassionate existence.

Can we reclaim "Conservative" Language?
Can we borrow "Christian" terms & lingo?
Can we social justice our way out of physiological burdens?
It is irresponsible to rid ourselves of all expectations that don't feel like fit us?
Can masculine energy really be toxic? Or is it just toxic behavior?
What does it mean to "take a back seat" as someone with "privileged identities"?
Does being mixed give us a leg up on finding nuance?
Are we able to place nuance where there is none (or so we think)?

In today's episode, Lauren + Adam discuss:
A family member recently telling us they think we are going to hell.
We chat about how everyone we know, makes an exception for a loved one that passes - believing they’ve gone to heaven, regardless of religious belief. No one attends a funeral of a loved one saying, “Too bad they’re in hell”.
Believing someone is going to hell, without being upset about it means you’re either entirely unloving or you don’t really believe it.
We compare the Bible to Tarot cards.
How the art of learning feels spiritual. Not needing to embody or believe it, for information to have significance.

We discuss how to align with someone in the way their brain asks questions - Not the conclusions they come to.

Adam speaks on allowing others to live in their joy.
We discuss that many people find themselves - again - giving away their power, and lacking voice or opinion after leaving church culture. How they choose to be lead by a select few that check off new boxes to make them believe they posses no self-identifying discernment. What we can do instead...
A lot of white folks don't consider the fact that they have ancestors too. We talk about how to tap into that and why it is so necessary to stop perpetuating performative behavior that lacks critical thinking.

Today we reflect on the year 2020 - what we gained & what we lost. We also talk about productivity & loneliness. As we wrap up the year, it may be hard to find the positives or even admit some of the good things that may have happened to or for us this year... We almost may feel guilty because this year, overall, was a very very hard year. We recognize that. But this is a safe space for all. And if you have anything that blessed you, grew you or positively affected you this year... we want to hear it. Let us cheer you on! Leave some comments down below on ways that this year has positively affected you. :)
Look, Christmas comes with its own set of issues. But then you are going through deconstruction AND a pandemic. And quite honestly - it becomes VERY confusing emotionally. We are here to talk about it all.

Should your go to person for deconstruction and spiritual discussions be your partner? Can you cultivate a thriving relationship while one deconstructs and the other doesn’t? Is it possible for two people to be in different stages of deconstruction and be together? If the closest people in my life only hear my process as rebellion, how do I invite them in? How do you navigate conversations about church and parenting? How do you handle sexual ethic deconstruction changes while in a relationship? What is your perspective on how to navigate newfound independence within the boundaries of marriage? How do you communicate deconstruction/fluctuating beliefs when dating in the Bible belt? Can you have the same core values & beliefs and express them in different ways (i.e. church no church)?

Now, she has been released from any religious label and introduces herself as an Aries, enneagram 3, and sexuality advocate.

What does it mean to be Mormon and what are some key principles to live by?
Do Mormons really believe they become god of their own universe when they die?
What exactly do Mormons believe in for the afterlife?
Is the Mormon religion different to each person or does everyone follow the same “rules”?
Is Mormonism a cult?
Why did you leave Mormonism?
Why did you join the evangelical church?
Why did you leave the evangelical church?
What does your spirituality look like now?

We don’t have answers, just experiences. Purity Culture is a HUGE topic with many varied experiences. The three of us had similar upbringings, but different journeys that lead us to where we are today. If you align with purity messages, this is not in any way condemning you - I’m happy it worked for you. For us, however, we have each had damage we’ve had to work through because of the purity messages preached at us. I hope this inspires you to look inward and potentially join us in this conversation.
