In this episode, I discuss the step by step process on how I overcome my to-do list. I discuss my process on how it aligns with my overall quarterly and yearly goals.
Our to-do list can feel extremely overwhelming, but I share my 4 steps on to make it a productive and fulfilling day:
Set quarterly goals for 1-3 categories that you want to focus on for the quarter (I have an entire workshop recording of this with worksheets that can help. DM me if you are interested.)
Break down those quarterly goals into monthly goals
Time block in your calendar the categories you've selected. If it is in your calendar, your are more likely going to to focus time to that specific goal.
Create a power list and follow it every single day

In my new podcast episode, I go over the 3 ways to improve your goal setting and organizing process.
Stop trying to do everything all yourself- Trust me, I have been there. It will burn you out and you will feel extremely overwhelmed. I do believe you can do it all, but not by yourself. You will need a team/assistant and learn how to successfully delegate.
Have the right community/accountability partners in your life - The people you surround yourself with will either influence you in a positive way or in a negative way. Attend meetups, attend networking events, read books, listen to podcasts, and start reaching out to people you admire and respect and ask to connect. 🤝
Use a project management tool - My favorite project management tool is Asana. It easily keeps all my projects & tasks organized in one place. It also helps me easily delegate to my team and we are all aware of where we are all at on the project. It saves me time and makes me way more efficient.

In my new podcast episode, I go over 4 reasons why my planner doesn't work for me anymore and what to use instead. I am definitely that person who loves her planners, but as I wanted to scale my business it no longer was realistic for me to use a planner anymore.
“But Reyna, I don’t have a team and it’s just me running my business.” It’s important to learn now so that when you are ready to scale and add someone you don’t have to learn how to use a new tool, you can simply add someone else.
Overall, my project management tool, Asana, is much more efficient than my planner, and I highly recommend!
If you need more support with this, I can help you organize your project management tool, and specifically, I use Asana. Book a strategy session to share where you are at with organizing your life or business and we can dive deeper into how to efficiently set it all up.

A clothing apparel business that was created to celebrate the chingona and spanglish culture. Viridiana felt that there was no brands out there that she could fully relate to, so she created her own. Her well thought out designs have been noticed by many people, which allows her to now be her own boss and work for herself and have the freedom to create designs she likes. She created a Loteria game for all the many women out there, so they can feel represented as well.

Did you know that limiting beliefs may be what is holding you back from becoming who you want to be?
In this week’s episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley talk about limiting beliefs and how to get rid of them. Limiting belief is a state of mind or belief about yourself that restricts you in some way
Although most of our beliefs are formed over the years and ingrained in our brains, YOU have the power to change those beliefs. It can look like taking messy action, reinforcing the limiting beliefs with facts, and also taking action steps that align with the new beliefs we want to have.
Some limiting beliefs may look like telling ourselves we cannot afford to live on our own, that we have to suffer during our workouts to get our dream body, or even psyching yourself out of new situations due to fear of failure.
There are different ways you can begin to change those beliefs like, surrounding yourself with people who practice the new beliefs you want to have. You can also begin to take physical action that supports the new belief. Another way would be to look at past experiences, where you have successfully done things, and remind yourself with FACTS, that you are capable.
If you loved this week's episode, share it with 3 friends so you can break your limiting beliefs together.

In this week's episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley interview Christine Escobar.
Christine Escobar is a mom, wife, a business coach and the founder of Gracefully Fierce. Gracefully Fierce is a community Christine created for women to learn about entrepreneurship, reframe past beliefs, and how to support their partner while maintaining a partnership and relationship. Christine shares her journey of becoming a gracefully fierce woman, choosing a better life for herself and her babies, and all the hardships that came along with it.
Christine was a therapist for 17 years, before pursuing her entrepreneurship journey with her husband in 2017. That decision to become an entrepreneur with her husband birthed the concept of Gracefully Fierce, because she wanted to create support for other women who were on similar path as her.
This community helps women stand in their power, know who they are and how to be that support for yourself. This is a community of only women and it is going to be such a healing experience. You will be unlearning many beliefs you may have had since your childhood, and learn how to be a Gracefully Fierce woman.
Christine has a Gracefully Fierce event that is next Saturday/Sunday (3/26-27/2022) 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the city of Pasadena, CA. The tickets are on sale this bday week for $100 total cost for both days.

Did you know that you do not have to be WHERE you want to be, to show up as WHO you want to be?
In this week's episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley talk about the importance of showing up as who you want to be and why you should consider applying this into your life.
Think about the way you feel when you get all done up, you have a fresh set of nails, you took the time to do your morning ritual and you got yourself ready for the day. Then think about how you feel when you wake up late, nothing is going as planned, you are running so behind that you basically fly out of the door and you are lucky if you get a chance to do your hair. Now think about your state of mind/attitude in both states.
Getting ready seems so simple. yet can do so much for us mentally and even change the way we approach the world and our day to day life. When you take yourself serious enough to put in the extra effort to feel good, it is going to create a ripple effect in other areas of your life. You will be more confident, approachable, more opportunities will naturally come your way and it will make you want to socialize with others around you.
Take some time to think of who you want to be in the future, and start showing up as that person TODAY. Everything you want to be is already in you, so be sure to look the part on the outside as well.

Reyna and Ashley share a time when they have been embarrassed, and how it helped them not care after the fact. Although being in embarrassing situations can be tricky, it is so important to embrace those moments.
Yes being embarrassed can feel uncomfortable, but it is situations like this that allow us to grow. By owning your truth, it allows you to not care much about what others think. On this week's episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley sit and chat about how crucial is it to be your own person. Reyna and Ashley both believe in the importance of having a strong relationship with yourself, because you are with yourself at all times. There is so much power in being independent, staying true to yourself and being able to make sure YOU are happy. At the end of the day, our happiness is our own responsibility.
Another amazing thing that you get when you become your own person, is self awareness. Self awareness is so important because you will be able to catch yourself when you may not feel your best, and you can take the steps to put yourself in a better place. At times people set unrealistic expectations on their partners, when in reality it is not their responsibility to make sure we are happy/confident, that starts with you, and anything else is in addition to what you have established.
May this episode inspire you to rebuild your relationship with yourself, become your own person, and to become more aware of the things that honor you. You hold all the power in your life, you control what is allowed, and you are responsible for yourself.

On this episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley talk about their word for the year 2022. Both ladies believe in the importance of having a word of the year, because it can allow you to be intentional on the things you want to focus on. When thinking of a word you should think about that one thing you always feel you need more of, and make that your word.
Ashley's word of the year is; discipline. Ashley knows that discipline is what she needs to reach the next level in her business. She has come to find out that discipline is what gets her through the hard times. Motivation comes and goes, but the discipline is what is going to keep you going. Eventually when we are disciplined with the things we choose, it is going to become our second nature. Start with one goal, become disciplined with it, and add more as you move forward.
Reyna's word of the year is; living. She knows the importance of living in gratitude, but also being present, because you may never know what the next day may bring. In the past, Reyna found herself overworking, and she was finding herself burnt out. The word, "living" is going to allow her to be in the moment and be present. Reyna also found another way for her to free up her time was to delegate work to her assistant that would normally cause burnout, and it has allowed her time freedom, which in turn, allows her to live.
After you listen to this episode, take some time to sit and see what you want your word of the year to be. May your word serve as a reminder of the goals you want to reach, and the person you want to become. Listening to this podcast is already a step in the right direction, so if you enjoyed be sure to share with your friends/family so you can all level up this upcoming year. The New Year also brings new opportunities, so make them count.

On this weeks episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley talk about intentional goal setting for your week. Reyna and Ashley discuss a worksheet that Reyna created to help others reach their goals and make them attainable. This worksheet is an amazing resource especially with the new year, to help you see your goals, find your why, and put you in a position to win.
Another important reminder the worksheet highlights, is to name a person you will connect with this week, and what your intention is when connecting. This could either be a professional or in your personal life. This is such a good reminder for us to keep in touch with those around us, and through connections, you never know the resources that may be presented.

On this episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley take it back to what sparked their interests, and take you on the journey to their current reality. Reyna talks about a small group that changed her life, which led her to create her own Women's Empowerment Club when she was in high school. She dedicated her free time to learn how to market and create other workshops. She then went on to start a different club that boosted her confidence in herself and what she could do.
Ashley talks about how baking has always been a passion, but unfortunately with life, it had to be put on the backburner. Due to the abrupt pause the pandemic forced us into, it allowed her to make time for something that brought her happiness. Ashley was allowed her to pursue something that meant something to her, and got good at it.
It is nice to hear the stories that shaped the way these women think about their business, and how growing up where they did, guided where they are today. Whether your passion was put right in front of you, or you have to do a few different things to find what you are passionate about, just know, most times everything you need to succeed comes from you.

On today's episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley talk about the infamous, "Y El Novio" season. This question tends to creeps up at family events, especially during the holiday season. "Y El Novio" is basically the question that your family, especially your tia, will most likely ask.
Reyna and Ashley do a weekly update, touch on what their personal dating life looks like when you have your own business, and answer a few questions from Steve Harvey's book, "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man". These are a few questions that you can ask yourself no matter what phase of dating you are in.
If you are not successful in the love department as of right now, take a look inward and make sure you know what you want out of a potential relationship. This is important because when that special person does come along you, you are able to set them apart.

On this episode of Latina Lifestyle Legacy, Reyna and Ashley talk about the importance of being comfortable with being uncomfortable. As hard as some situations may be, they allow us the opportunity to grow and be better versions or ourselves. David Goggins says, "We all need to start looking at obstacles very differently in life, Obstacles are purely hidden opportunities."
Having this mindset will also allow you to become solution orientated, instead of dwelling in these situations. Reyna and Ashley are continuously putting themselves in situations where they are challenged because they understand, regardless of how hard it may seem, they always come out a better person. Just because things go wrong, does not mean you can't be resourceful and find solutions.
Begin to give yourself grace and push through these tough times. Learn to celebrate the mistakes and keep moving forward. Try something new this week that will push you to that next level.

In my new podcast episode, I share the differences of the two currencies: time vs. money. I bring up this topic because growing up as a first-generation Latina I feel that we are taught to value money more versus the time we can save if we invest a bit more money upfront. I touch on topics that I had to learn to remove limiting beliefs about money to really help my business grow. I cover the value of a business mentor or a business course that can cut the time in half of you trying to figure out the ins and outs of it all. I want to open up this discussion and ask you what you feel your time is worth?

Navigating the world as a Latina entrepreneur is hard, the world seems to be against you at all odds, once conquered it feels like the world is at your fingertips, but then comes the toughest role of them all,
Because before you are a Latina entrepreneur you are a Latina living in a tight knit Hispanic household.
In this podcast episode I discuss a certain generational trauma that may be hidden in your family as well.
Moving out.
It can be one of the hardest things to do, because no one wants to leave the comfort and warmth that our family home provides. But what do we do when we are making good money, becoming financially literate and testing the limits. We want space, a change in energy and air. Usually (not always) the women in our families move out when they get married, or decide unexpectantly to start a family, but why does it feel that way. Why can’t Latina women decide when it’s time for them to start their dream and move out when they want too without the pressure of leaving with a man.
As the youngest in a big family, I felt internalized guilt for wanting to move out and leave my parents. Was I really not going to be able to move out and live my dream because I was the youngest and it was my duty to look after my parents? Realizing and growing out of this trauma response I realized that I needed to enjoy my journey and understand that I was not the only one that had the responsibility of looking after my parents. After a long time of coming to terms on who I wanted to be and what I dreamt for myself I researched and found my perfect place.
In this episode I discuss my journey on moving out as a Latina woman, becoming more financially literate, and breaking a generational trauma, along with other things.

“Love yourself.” It’s a mantra many women – perhaps from a young age – hold on to as a reminder to stand up for their beliefs, values and hopes. It’s also a statement that rings very true throughout life, says Mary Miranda, but showing these same young women HOW to love themselves is often glossed over. As a dating and relationship coach, Mary can pinpoint some key steps needed to establish a solid foundation – before anyone or anything else can be part of the structure. Believe me: the Guanajuato native has had her share of personal lessons. From relocating to America and shifting her identity in a new culture to abandoning toxic and abusive relationships (some with high-profile figures), Mary has made her way out and she’s thriving. Now she seeks to help others in their own self-realizations in order to foster a greater love for oneself. | Mary's Instagram and Facebook |

Another great topic we cover is self-care for the entrepreneurs and a great tip she shared to overcome creative block is to move your body, go outdoors, or go dancing! One of her favorite ways to also practice self-care is having a gratitude and affirmations journal to write in daily. Please share what you learned and leave a review or share with a friend. They say it takes a village. For Yarel Ramos, a correspondent with Univision, it’s always been about COMMUNITY. Community is what has helped Yarel take flight throughout her professional pursuits, and community has equally grounded her back to her roots at home. A native of Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, Yarel was born into a traditional family of Mexican immigrants: a close-knit community where education and growth were encouraged, but leaving the nest was extremely taboo. So when Yarel (the oldest of three children) opted to attend the University of Miami for undergraduate school, her parents had their fair share of reservations.
Tune in for a fresh perspective on this Latina’s endeavors, as well as some dialogue about how social platforms and today’s world have transformed Yarel’s profession and life. This is an encouraging, light-hearted convo on one Latina’s path; each of us has opportunities, people, and networks that help make up part of our own story. What’s your community?

Corzo, 28, has been featured in Forbes magazine and has even dabbled in motivating others as a TED Talk speaker and career mentor. But the native Peruvian’s journey has not been easy; in fact, as a migrant to the United States, the door for many opportunities were shut on Corzo early on as he prepared himself for adulthood. Take note: this is all before the inauguration of DACA in 2012, when Corzo’s attempts at garnering a driver’s license, getting financial aid for college, and even acquiring a work permit left him at a loss. Without an established legal residency, he was repeatedly turned away and had to get creative with making his place in this country.
“If the door for opportunities close, I go through a window,” Corzo stated. This dreamer went on to make his visions a reality, including paying his own way through college – and graduating with TWO bachelor’s degrees – to try his hand in real estate methods that led him to a fruitful career coupled with financial freedom. Although the Dream Act eventually gave him some freedom to garner those achievements, Corzo also had to play major catch-up to match others who’d continued ahead without limitations.
Ever felt too overwhelmed to stay on that work flow or go after those goals? You don’t want to miss this episode! Reyna connects with Corzo for a humble and transparent conversation about the journey that helped him circumvent even the slightest obstacles to achieve the life he lives today. Learn from his experiences, gain tips about succeeding in real estate, take notes on the pivotal role of mentorship and accountability, and even delve in to the time Corzo visited with Congress to speak about America’s Dreamers.

This episode is a raw, intense, and beautiful story of Anavictoria Avila. She speaks her truth and shares with us why she studied to become an attorney and improve the juvenile justice system. She is a passionate youth advocate. Anavictoria was born into a family plagued by domestic violence and went through a custody dispute that lasted 8 years. At an early age she witnessed that justice does not have the upper hand in the legal system and class, gender, and race truly affect the dynamics and progression of a case. She focuses on becoming an attorney and advocating for marginalized communities and specifically youth who are in the juvenile and foster care systems. Anavictoria also informs us that in college she was screened and diagnosed with learning disabilities. She tells us her journey and how she got through it during law school. She explores her passion with art and we discuss how it has allowed her to heal and provide comfort during her most difficult times. Despite all the barriers Anavictoria had to face she overcame them and accomplished her life-long goal of graduating from law school.
A lot has changed in Anavictoria’s life since the recording of the interview. The Education Advocacy Clinic hired Anavictoria to be a Clinical Supervisor and Instructor at the East Bay Community Law Center, which is a Clinic of Berkeley Law School (Boalt). In this position, she teaches law students as she represents young people caught at the intersection of the juvenile justice and education systems. She represents youth in delinquency, school expulsion, and special education matters. She will be taking the bar exam this summer 2019. Wish her strength and good vibes!

¡Puro pa delante! So many of us are afraid of failure. We question what are people going to think of us if we do "it" wrong? In my short time of this incredible life I've learned that everyone is honestly just trying to figure it out. It does not matter the age or how much experience you have. No one has the correct formula to solve all life obstacles. It's all part of the journey. I mention several failures in my life in this new YouTube video. My good friend, Jon Vroman always says to celebrate your failures because they are life lessons. Every time you try something new and you failed then it is life telling you to do it differently and keep going.

I interviewed my friend Carlin last week to share about opening up her own salon studio. I was so impressed by her unique and deep story. Carlin faced many barriers where close people in her life doubted her and stopped her from reaching higher. Carlin dropped out of high school when she was younger and is now a single mother. She has two beautiful kids, she runs her own business, and living life to the fullest! I love how Carlin picks herself back up and stays positive through it all. She created a movement called "Stronger everyday" and her own make-up called Leia Faith cosmetics, inspired by her daughter. Her faith is what keeps her going and leading her to success for her and her kids.
