So you wake up every day to a drumbeat of increasing insanity from Trumpublicans.. I've got some real gems to discuss.. but what's the point of Trump's trajectory of madness? Let's talk about it..
Some interesting video surfaced today showing JD Vance refusing to answer a BASIC question on democracy.. We've learned that Trump resorted to criminal acts to try and steal an election that he lost.. we also learned Giuliani did something really stupid in the process of trying to help Trump..
Trump was on a podcast today and he did it.. Last night in the debate, Vance did it- when confronted with the reality of what they have said in the past, Trump and Vance always resort to trying to revise history.
Let's look at a social media tweet from Trump where Trump is blaming election fraud on everyone but himself and threatens to lock everyone from donors and democratic operatives up 'for a long time'.. #LetTheChaosBegin
The more we know about Donald Trump the less we like him. Here's a story about Fred Trump III, who has a severely disabled son, and is told by Donald Trump to basically "let his son die and move to Florida".. The money that they have to provide medical care for their son is running out and all that Donald Trump can say is "let him die"? And then, on top of all that, Fred Trump is called disgusting for writing a tell-all book to help support the medical needs of his son? #FredTrumpIII
The two big turning points in this election have been Kamala Harris becoming the Democratic nominee and Trump picking JD Vance which is not going over very well.. Who is responsible for this? You might be surprised.. #jdvance
So now the media can fixate on something else beside Joe Bidens every syllable.. and start focusing on Trump who seems to a little over confident at the moment.. so overconfident, Trump thinks we have all forgotten what he said before about #project2025 Trump must either be insane to forget what he said or he must think we're all stupid.. which one is it? Let's talk about #senMarkKelly for Vice President- he would make an excellent choice!
Making my way through 'Project 25' or 'Project 2025' depending on how you want to abbreviate the madness, there are some parts that are naturally frightening for a democracy and on how they define 'freedom'.. that has an authoritarian spin to it.. however, there are arts that make you want to just laugh, if it wasn't so serious.. #project2025
How will Trump come out and address this latest act of violence? Will he lean into the MAGA narrative or push back to a more moderate stance. Let's look at this as well as what Teddy Roosevelt did in a similar situation..

-Trump was on the 'All In Podcast' and gave some reasons to support his tariffs instead of income tax plan and they don't add up.. -Governor Noem was interviewed by Stuart Varney who wouldn't let the fact that she shot her own dog drop.. it didn't end well
For me it's the lack of stability with Trump.. just an hour ago Trump tried to say that him calling Milwaukee a "horrible city" was a Democrat "Lie".. video shows otherwise.. Then Kevin O'Leary thinks Trump's presumed VP pick Doug Bergum is "great" why should we believe Kevin? remember the FTX scam? Then listen to what Andrew Ross Sorkin says "business leaders" thought about Trump's great ideas in that DC meeting.. #RamblinDon
The Turning Point Action Conference was today and Nick Fuentes tried to crash the event and got kicked out, complete with a red face and a little glitch. Credit to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse for raising the issue where in Florida you have a tangled homeowner insurance market where most (if not all) big insurers have left the state which leaves smaller insurance companies who are rated by a company called Demotech.. largely because the 'gold standard' in rating companies, AM Best and S&P won't rate smaller and more fragile insurance companies.. is this a powder keg that Governor DeSantis is sitting on and exactly what's going on in the Florida homeowners insurance market? #SenatorWhitehouse #floridainsurance

Point is that truth has a nasty way of catching up to things despite all the "grand distractions" from the Trump side like calling the latest Trump felony conviction 'weaponization'.. #TrumpGrandDistraction
The New York Times today has a front page article that details how Donald Trump has very few options to overturn his felony conviction verdict by a jury of 12.. The fact remains that Trump affected the outcome of the 2016 election and he may not have been elected if the information he suppressed was allowed to filter through the American population.. the choices they made may have been starkly different... #Trumpfelony

Unrelenting drama in today's Trump 'Hush Money' trial and there were three things that happened in the court room that are worth noting: Firstly, The 1.5minute phone call Cohen made to Schiller and surprise, Trump was right there with Schiller so it's plausible Cohen DID speak with Trump telling Trump he made the payment and secondly, Michael Cohen skimmed money off a Trump hush money payment (did this hurt Cohen's credibility...) and lastly, Bob Costello, an attorney that Cohen spoke with that tried to discredit Michael Cohen. The ladies on "The View" compared DeSantis' voice to "The Penguin" character and instead of just letting it go, DeSantis fires back.. It's a case of Ron wasting time playing petty politics instead of actually doing something useful for Americans like supporting the Inflation Reduction Act which would help Americans buying Electric vehicles with an instant credit of $7500.. https://www.whitehouse.gov/cleanenergy/

Today, Kari Lake make a ridiculous pivot while being interviewed about all of the mass shootings going on today.. In other highlights, I was on the Bryan Callen Show and have to tell you about it.. I have a clip of a TN Senator, Bill Haggerty who doesn't seem to care that Donald Trump lost a rape lawsuit.. And Tucker Carlson is really angry he can't do his show on Twitter- boo hoo..
Florida Republicans are trying hard to pass a bill to send a message to Congress that the US Department of Defense is so woke that they are affecting our nations readiness in a negative way. They claim ‘wokeness’ in about 4 points that we’ll discuss. The laughable part of this is a clip where a Republican representative tried to address the legislature defending against claims that this legislation was racist and homophobic.. in attempting the defense of this anti-woke legislation he basically admitted that we (Republicans) hate homosexuals. #woke #floridaman
Trump was om Mark Levin's show "Life, Liberty & Levin" on Sunday night and dropped a new Rona conspiracy theory then went on to trash Arnold Schwarzenegger after Arnold laid out his theories on Trump in an interview with Dana Bash 3 days earlier... #arnoldschwarzenegger #trump
Steve Bannon interviewed Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago (because he owes Trump) and they get into this twisted idea that they want to investigate the people who want to know why there was (supposedly) cheating in the election and aren't investigating the cheaters... Trump then trashes DeSantis bigly in an effort to get his donors to send him their money since DeSantis is 'failing badly'. It's just going to get worse from here. #Trump Bannon Interview #Trump DeSantis feud
In a recent interview with Steve Bannon at Mar-a-Lago yesterday, Trump got on the subject of green energy and electric cars and said that the efforts to get the USA driving more electric vehicles was instigated by 'Environmental Lunatics'.. listen to how Trump is oblivious to the latest advancements in batteries and then makes the simple assumption that we need to stay on oil.. forever. #trump #electriccars
Ron DeSantis never disappoints.. he is on his campaign tour and at a stop in Jerusalem at.. "The Museum Of Tolerance".. DeSantis- a man who legislates intolerance had a blow up with a reporter and used the angle of 'that person wouldn't remember me from 2006' as his excuse and wouldn't confront the facts of his service as a JAG officer in the military at Guantanamo Bay.. #rondesantis
Let the games begin! Trump has a new attack ad that crushes Ron DeSantis.. it's almost as if he's saying do you want the puppet or the puppeteer? Trump plays on the theme of how he got DeSantis the job as Governor of Florida and how thankful DeSantis was and how DeSantis should be kneeling at Trump's feet and not out there trying to step on his toes..
Steve Bannon's take on why Tucker was ousted (without respect lol) is nothing short of a conspiracy.. lastly, the Hypocrisy of Republicans not wanting to extend the debt limit unless all of their porky spending and tax breaks for inefficient things like Ethanol continue... under the guise of cutting spending, of course..
DeSantis finally came out and said something about Trump today and it did not go down well with the MAGA's.. Trump lashes out in a tweet with a nasty broadside against DeSantis and live from NY a circus atmosphere at a Trump rally held by NY Young Republicans outside NY DA's office gets crazy..

Leave it to Charlie Kirk and the nutjobs to warp truth and reality into getting their listeners to believe that the FBI is coming for you and they're using 1/6 to do so.. #charliekirk
What happened on January 6 shouldn’t be partisan but Tucker Carlson has made it partisan.. Tucker Carlson is partly to blame for 1/6: he told the lies about election fraud that even he didn’t believe.. then he turns around and says that the rioters did what they did because of election fraud. Here’s a look at the reflection, reaction and outrage of Tuckers attempt to rewrite history..
Thank God CPAC is over and it ended with Trump prognosticating simplistic solutions he can't describe in detail and then with Michael Knowles describing the latest drug of the Republican party: homophobia..
So first off, the mayor of Palestine is a little two faced and partisan.. and Don Jr's lament of the day followed up by some more crazy legislation DeSantis & Co. is trying to pass in Florida, not to be outdone, TX tries to one up with crazy legislation of their own and then it's time to watch Trump fans get upset about getting kicked out of a DeSantis book signing.. #rondesantis
So what is Tucker going to do with the J6 video??? Here's a take on that! What is it with all the Putin love out there whether it's Ron DeSantis, Tucker Carlson or the regular misfit Congressmen & women? And.... if it wasn't for this, DeSantis couldn't have been able to say what he did about Ukraine.. #tuckercarlson #rondesantis
First off, Biden made an amazing trip to Ukraine and here's how it was received by Republicans.. Tucker literally gets shamed by 'spontaneous Christian revival' sponsors and lastly, MTG embarrassed herself once again by telling black people how they should think..
It's generally thought in the Midwest that if you're left leaning then you can't be a friend of farmers.. well, here's a situation where a Republican Congressman thinks it's a terrible idea that farmers could make almost 8x more money converting SOME farmland into solar and wind farms.. #TomTiffany
Republicans wonder why they have a hard time winning the popular vote? It's because of people like Ann Coulter, George Santos and MTG who repeatedly want to drive this country with a DWI mindset.. #AnnCoulter #mtg #georgesantos
FTX has imploded and the former 'Goodwill Ambassador' Kevin O'Leary is running as fast as he can from the carnage.. we've also learned some pretty incredible things about FTX under the guidance of the new FTX CEO John Ray that you will find hard to believe.. #ftx
Marjorie Taylor Greene makes the most unbelievably pathetic argument against Biden and for Trump that has ever been made while Eric Trump goes on an entitlement rant while DeSantis gambles that it's time for a vax battle and, of course Trump's collector card reveal..
Elon Musk delivered a popcorn drama about how Twitter suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story- about how Twitter struggled with the 'hacked materials' policy and even included input from Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna.. but at the end of it all, folks, this is a story with some really 'shaky' beginnings.. #hunterbiden
Kanye was on a podcast and got mad and left.. I want you to hear what Kanye said and because this is someone that Trump knows and associates with.. the bigger question in my view is why does Trump associate with Kanye? #kanyewest #timcast
In this episode, let's look at what's happened with Twitter - the lack of content moderation as well as the amnesty for some pretty bad accounts.. Musk wants to monopolize the town square- should he? We'll get into 3 things that will force Elon to 'stay within the lines' of content moderation- whether Elon likes it or not.. #twitter #twitteranarchy #twittercontentanarchy

Kanye West just got back on Twitter and he has released a video about a trip he had to Mar-a-Lago where both Kanye and Nick Fuentes- an avowed racist and white supremacist- met with Trump over dinner. The resulting video about the interaction is hilarious yet sadly pathetic at the same time.
First off a little Kari Lake at Mar-a-Lago alog with Marjorie Taylor Greene. MTG appears to have a tender moment at the podium with ‘big smiles’ Kimberly Guilfoyle.. Then listen to a Republican Congressman from Texas opine about how when the military recognizes things like gay pride it weakens the military. Let’s discuss how this radical Republican gay ‘stereotypes and stigmas’ are really a part of their wider narrative of grooming anyone who will listen that gays are evil and….
Jim Jordan, in a recent appearance on Fox News screams that he is going to investigate Special Counsel Jack Smith over something he already investigated with Jack Smith giving testimony back in 2014. This is political theater at it's finest to scream that you're going to investigate something you forgot you've already looked into just because it sounds good on Fox News
Kari Lake, the AZ Governor-hopeful is now claiming that it's not election fraud but voter disenfranchisement that has cost her the election... Let's discuss why this is incorrect and where are ANY Republican voices in the House and Senate that are willing to stand up for democracy and say that none of what's happening in Maricopa County is voter disenfranchisement!
Rage and delay.. on Fox News Sunday Senator Mark Warner was repeatedly asked why Democrats won't give Senator Mike Lee's amendment a chance- when they obviously already have the votes. Then Ben Shapiro rages on about how Democrats always tie religion to gay marriage when... that's exactly what Republican Senator Mike Lee just did.
.."Pardon Trump" is trending today on Twitter just days after Trump launched his 2024 Presidential campaign. Let's look at the New Special Counsel appointment and what Trump's fellow Republicans are saying about this and what it all means for Trump's run for office in 2024.. Is it doomed or not?
Let's take a look at how badly Kari Lake's message- actually Trump's message- failed miserably with voters.. Then look at how Marjorie Taylor Greene interprets that loss and compare that to how Charlie Kirk interprets that loss totally differently and you can see by the look on Charlie Kirks face that there's trouble dead ahead for the Trump train..
It's all in here folks, MTG has some serious regrets about not killing healthcare.. there's a Trump rally-goer who is nearly in tears she's so darn thankful for Steve Bannon and the bunch at Fox Fake News and lastly, crazy Laura Loomer who is running for Congress just got the dubious distinction of her own golf cart parade in a not so surprising location..
What's amazing about what Republicans think that they are doing right now with abolishing Roe V. Wade is that they think they are riding a wave of populism.. and they aren't! Look at these key swing state races where we once feared a bloodbath it's looking like we may now have a bloodbath on the Republican side. In this episode, we'll look at the dynamics at play and how republicans are chasing cultural issues-- none of which will put bread on your table, put your kids through college or healthcare in your back pocket.
Marjorie Taylor Greene never disappoints when it comes to crazy.. Arizona's Wendy Rogers thinks state legislatures should decide elections and Ted Cruz is making Clarence Thomas' anti gay agenda mainstream Republican
Margie Greene has the knives out against Lindsey Graham in what she called an 'Emergency Podcast' where she decries how Lindsey is poised to approve some watered down gun legislation after supposedly fast tracking Biden's cabinet appointees after Democrats took their time approving Trump's appointees.. but in reality, Biden's appointees have taken more time to get approved than every President since Bill Clinton.
Republican gun control solutions: a mix of DeSantis revenge politics, politicization claims and simply doing nothing
First off, let’s start with a Rusted Culture nugget: if you were a fly on the wall at Eric and Lara Trump’s house what would that be like? Listen to this clip..
So when confronted about gun control Republicans resort to revenge politics, call it politicization (except when they use gun control to fund raise) and of course their last option is to simply do nothing..
James Carville is right.. the Republican party is crazy folks. Listen to James Carville on Ari Melber's show on Tuesday and when he mentioned that they're out there talking about 'testicle tanning' I thought he was nuts but it's the truth, just listen to Tucker Carlson talk about it like he's gonna give it a try himself.
Talk about crazy, let's look at what Ron DeSantis is up to now in Florida, it's a virtual book burning and although he'd love to give 'proof' of what he doesn't like in the books, well, he just can't..
First off here's some Rusted Culture 'Nuggets of the Day': Russia's corrupt and missing Minister Of Defense, Madison Cawthorn takes credit for a bill he voted against and Mo Brooks has a creepy thing.. and then my favorite Alex Jones, who always plays the victim especially well. He's too sick from Covid to give a deposition in the Sandy Hook Case but is well enough to go and broadcast his show.. he evidently had an excuse from this nutjob Doctor and.. how'd he get sick anyway? He's spent the last two years pushing quack cures?
Well, if Trump was trying to dismiss 'once and for all' the allegations of salacious, weird sexual activity that are detailed in the now infamous Steele Dossier, his complaint failed miserably..
Charlie Kirk couldn't help himself.. tweeting something demeaning about Rachel Levine, a Democrat, a Biden administration personality and an LGBTQ person. Let's discuss how he thinks he can't lose even when he was asked to remove the tweet and essentially apologize for saying something vile and hateful..
Republicans make a big issue out of 'screaming freedom' but yet when you look at what they do, they're really busy diminishing freedom for everyone else. In today's episode, I want to take a look at some examples where this is true and particularly when it comes to LGBTQ youth and how Republicans have lashed out at them and their families..
Cue the drama.. Senator Lindsey Graham has voted twice to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Federal Bench but is looking for a reason to deny her a 'yes' vote to the Supreme Court and is using her work as a public defender for Gitmo detainees to do it..
Donald Trump had some fun at his winter retreat, Mar-a-Lago with (of course) Lindsey Graham, Kodak Black as well as Ron DeSantis in the house. Listen to Governor DeSantis get all angry with Fauci when, in relality, it's Trump that lost the election partly because of his abysmal handling of Covid.. is any of this supposed to make sense?
Marjorie Greene is up for re-election so we can all expect the insanity to continue.. in this segment I want to highlight two clips of MTG- one in which she claims we shouldn't support Ukraine because it's a losing proposition and the second linking Obama to Ukraine's existence today, which is insane. The Ukrainian people are fighting like hell today because they don't want to live under Putin and they fought like hell back then to remove Putin's puppet government.. While we are talking about supporting Ukraine both militarily and economically we need to add in a discussion about Russian reparations for this senseless war they're waging on Ukraine.. let's talk about some ways we can make this happen..
Is there any good reason to support Putin right now? No, but watch Tucker desperately try to support Putin.. Tucker's arguments in support of Putin are laughable and his love for Putin goes way back in this clip from 2019. Then you have ole Marsha Blackburn who tries to do the 'pivot' tonight not to be outdone by Madison Cawthorn who just can't find the energy to say Putin is a bad guy.. not to be outdone by blow-hard Jeanne Pirro on 'The Five' tonight who explodes with anger from a little pushback from Geraldo..
Only in America will a Billionaire like Trump accept a $105k Rolex gift from a 24 year old YouTube star named STeveWillDoIt. Nick Fuentes, an avowed white nationalist introduced MTG at AFPAC which is being held just miles from CPAC in Orlando, FL. Listen to what Nick Fuentes said just before introducing MTG.. this is who they are and who MTG is as well.
This is no surprise but what is it that these 'regular suspects' love about Putin? We'll discuss this as well as the one thing that makes Putin illegitimate.. Putin loves to say that the Ukranian government and state is illegitimate but here's something to consider, folks..
'I help you and you help me' that's how Trump goes through life folks.. here's two examples illustrating how that's true.. So it's really no surprise that Trump is in talks with the Saudis to host their lucrative golf tournaments.
This tells you a lot about the struggle that is going on in the Republican party when 20 GOP Senators are 9 minutes away from Mar-a-Lago and out of the 20 only 3 GOP Senators pop by to attend Trump's soiree.
Where does the grift end? In this episode, I deconstruct a HuffPost article that details how an empty office space in Trump Tower that Trump paid $375k in donations from his Political Action Committee in rent sat mostly empty with some election 'memorabilia' just laying around..
Rudy is at it again folks, this time he told Eminem to 'leave the country' if he wanted to take the knee and show support for Colin Kaepernick and it did not go well.. not to mention the hypocrisy of Giuliani claiming to be a patriot of this nation while undermining our elections and trying to throw the election to Trump..

Exhibit #1 in how deranged the conservative far right actually are folks.. Let's deconstruct what happened and talk about some of the other 'Rusted Culture Nuggets Of The Day'..
There's no end to what these GOP legislators will do.. any chance to pile-on to any populist inspired chaos that meets their goal of hurting democrats and they're all for it..
The Iowa Eepublican legislature have no predicate, no basis for pushing this legislation in Iowa except to say that the goal is to 'increase the involvement of parents in their children's education'. Well, I can think of a lot of other ways to accomplish this than to have teachers wear microphones and be viewed on the internet. But that's not their actual goal here, folks.. their goal is to take something a teacher said about one of their hot button issues like race or sexuality, blow it all out of proportion and use all of the division they create at the school board meetings to help elect their stooges at a local, state and national level to solve 'issues' that never existed in the first place.
Brian Stelter had a piece where he showed how happy Russian State TV is with Tucker Carlson.. we know why but let's deconstruct why Tucker's claims are purely insane when it comes to Ukraine..
Mitt Romney lambasted the RNC for censuring Rep's Cheney and Kinzinger for simply getting to the truth of 1/6 and all of Trump's efforts to overturn the election and the denialism of the GOP right now is epic and not just in Washington DC.. Breitbart plays it's part in denialism in it's own special way in this article about the USPS replacing 165k vehicles claiming "it's all about climate change".. what about the simple reality of electric vehicle reliability? It's five O'Clock somewhere Rep Ronny Jackson is trying to claim credit for something the Infrastructure Bill is actually funding that he voted against.. Alex Jones praises Marjorie Taylor Greene and wants her to run for President..
Texas AG Ken Paxton was on Steve Bannon's podcast 'The War Room' and proceeded to tell multiple lies about the CAM immigrant program wherein immigrant parents, for example, are allowed to re-unite with their children if they are from 3 South American Countries but Paxton says that the US Government is paying for them to be flown over to America to re-unite which isn't true.. Paxton also goes on to say that Biden is breaking the 'Remain In Mexico' law by letting immigrants into the US regardless. Let's deconstruct the lies and where the actual truth is..
Based on a call that Ukraines's Zelensky had with Biden last Thursday, we know what Putin's main goal is. Let's deconstruct that (and why that's the goal) and let's do some digging into potentially what else the US may have in store for Putin if he miscalculates..
Why have we supported China for decades by buying their products and building their economy into what it is today to then have them tell us through their US Ambassador that they are willing to go to war over Taiwan? Let's look at what we have done for them and why we are doing it-- it's time to look at our wallets and the dollars we spend as 'votes'.. it's time to start voting American and stop voting for China with our dollars!
Well, it all started with Steve Bannon and Brian Kolfage and their 'We Build The Wall' scam that netted $25 million dollars in their pockets only to be pursued now by the Department Of Justice of the Southern District Of NY.. then here comes Kimberly Lowe for Congress and who decided to use this conspiracy theory to her advantage.. why not, right? Well listen to the audio of how that visit to the National Butterfly Center went..
Florida, as the petri dish for conservative white America has three new pieces of legislation that are moving forward that all gave one thing in common: they deny rights or infringe on rights that we have today. We'll deconstruct what they are doing and how this, along with Roe v. Wade is the new battleground conservatives are using to re-shape America as they see it..
How does Donald Trump get away with as much as he does? How do his supporters confronted with the lies and wrongdoing just look the other way and keep on supporting Donald Trump? It's called white grievance politics. Let's talk about this and then if they win the majority what Republicans always do that will continue to keep the US in the economic ditch..
Well, that was a predictable crash and burn.. the so-called 'Cyber Ninjas' have been court ordered to pay $50,000 a day fine but in addition to not finding fraud they can't seem to find texts and emails also ordered by the court. Let's deconstruct what in the hell is going on here and what it could mean for another 'fraudit' taking place in Wisconsin..
Senator Ted Cruz embarassed himself on national TV by begging for forgiveness for using the word 'terrorist' to describe those who stormed the Capitol, broke doors and windows and killed and wounded Capitol Police. It's embarassing for Ted and it just shows how much power Tucker Carlson and Rupert Murdoch have over a large segment of our population.. let's deconstruct what was said, how it was said and introduce a few facts..
Stephanie Grisham is planning with 15 other ex-Trump officials to counter the Trump narrative and has an interesting take on what Trump's press release will sound like once Trump finds out about this.. You also have to hear her rendition of what Trump was doing on 1/6 and what Mealania could have but didn't do..
This flew under the radar yesterday and was reported by Reuters that Mitch McConnell agreed to 'look at' modifying the Electoral Count Act which in it's current form would have allowed Republicans to subvert the election and install Trump as President for a second term.. let's deconstruct the bickering and dismay from Democrats on this and why we should take this at face value from McConnell and get this done.
Ari Melber on 'The Beat' had Peter Navarro on board to discuss the coup attempt and it underscores how elements of the Republican party just wanted to make 'noise' about a big lie that never was as a predicate to pull off a coup attempt. Watch Peter grimace as he confronts the truth.
Discussed on Morning Joe today, Trump came out and endorsed Viktor Orban of Hungary saying Orban has done a "powerful and wonderful job" (at undermining democracy) and really, what Trump and other powerful Republicans want is the same thing to happen in the USA. They look at what Orban has done, things like rewriting election laws to favor themselves and that's exact;y what they are trying to do here in the USA.. let's deconstruct this and reinforce our options and what we must do to prevent Trump's wet dream of Orban's Hungary from ever happening in the USA..
Big news in terms of finding out what Russia did to hack our 2016 elections may be revealed soon folks.. Thanks to US Intelligence Vladislav Klyushin was extradited to the US to face insider trading accusations and the story reads like something out of a spy novel. I've boiled this down with all the details.
Pardon me if I sound a little jaded here folks when I hear on MSNBC, CNN, Fox News or even the New York Times or Washington Post that Democrats are going to lose the mid terms in 2022... "it's over" they say. Let's look at what Republicans have done that show they deserve to re-take the House and Senate in 2022..
Governor Ron DeSantis has dug himself into a hole and is MIA as Omicron surges in Florida leaving his clown Surgeon General 'flailing' with excuses as to why they aren't able to treat people with the DeSantis' recommended treatment: monoclonal antibodies. In reality, what's happening is that firstly, only one out of three monoclonal antibody treatments is effective and the one that is left that works is in incredibly short supply leaving Ron DeSantis and his clown Surgeon General publicly flailing with bad excuses.. no wonder DeSantis is MIA.
What's new in our Rusted Culture today folks? Well remember Jared Schmeck (Schmuck) who, along with his kids, was on a Holiday phone call with Biden when they were discussing Santa's approach and just before hanging up said 'Let's Go Brandon' or basically F* Joe Biden? well, with God's help he wants to run for office. What a Schmuck.
Well, lastly, they had to test the confetti today in Times Square.. who knew?
Marjorie Taylor Greene may be fringe for the radical GOP but there's some truth to what she would like to do and if given the chance, the GOP will do it.. in this episode, we'll discuss how MTG racked up so much in fines for not wearing a mask on the floor of the Capitol, flubbed kwanzaa miserably and embarassed herself to wanting to restrict voting rights of Dem's who move to red states. As radical as that seems, the GOP is as serious as a heart attack in restricting voters rights and given the chance, the GOP is radical enough to do exactly what Marjorie Taylor Greene is tweeting about..
Biden announces that there is no 'Federal Solution' to Covid.. has he given up the fight against Covid? #CovidFederalSolution
MTG tweeted an interview that she just did with some conservative snowflake who starts off with "Democrats are like living under an illigitimate regime making our lives hell" his idea of 'hell' is when the internet goes out when he's watching a Charlie Kirk video.. I'm glad MTG sent this video out because it really illustrates the disconnect between Democrats actually passing legislation that will help Americans and Republicans like MTG who are chasing the ghost of Karl Marx..
On channel 5 today out of West Palm Beach FL, they did a story on how Gov. Ron Desantis allowing the state licenses of shelters that take care of unaccompanied minor immigrant children to simply 'expire' so that the kids, many of whom are under 13 years old, are then forced to be moved around to other shelters in the state or in some cases, out of the state..
Or, should I say "Dr. Joe Rogan" was on his podcast and said that the vaccine "is a medial solution that doesn't actually work" and a few minutes later Joe Rogan said that he's "not telling anyone not to get the vaccine" when in fact, when you tell someone that it's a medical solution that doesn't work -yes- you're actually telling them not to get the vaccine..
How can someone talk non stop for over 8 hours-- House Minority Republican Leader McCarthy did. What did he prattle on about? Don't worry, I've got the 2 minute lowdown. I've got some highlights of what's in the bill including a new $5000 refundable credit for electric vehicles.. what does refundable mean? Not only that, but remember the 12 states that never expanded Medicaid to cover the poor? Those folks are finally going to get some insurance!

Ever since that happened, Alex Jones has been saying it was staged and everyone that 'died' were really actors and it's all a way for the then Obama administration to gin up anti gun sentiment to.. of course, 'take your guns away'.. Well, a judge has ruled against Alex Jones and now Alex is playing the victim..
Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday made the comparison between Biden's order for businesses to be fully vaccinated is a mandate just like Texas Governor Greg Abbot's order to not honor Biden's vaccine mandate-- is also a mandate. We'll discuss what makes them both mandates and although Republicans argue that Biden's vax mandate encroaches on their freedoms and liberty, Governor Abbots order to not follow the vaccine mandate is also encroaches on other people's freedom and liberty as well.
Gene Simmons unloaded a gunboat of thoughts about anti-vaxxers saying that you stop for a red light, you can't smoke for a reason and if you are un-vaxxed and walk among us, you are the enemy..
Kevin Gough, the attorney for the defense actually said that. Evidently he was mad because Ahmaud Arbery's family had asked for Rev. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to comfort them in the courtroom. The law in this looks clear folks, trials are a public matter and the family is free to choose whomever they wish to sit with them..
Today, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert tweeted out tweets supporting Kyle Rittenhouse at the expense of any common sense. Combine this with Paul Gosar's tweet on killing AOC and attacking Biden and the inability of the GOP to collectively say anything that repudiates this points to how we're heading down the path of a "Divided we Fall" democracy..
Today we learned that the CPI Index rose 6.2% last month because of the port issues and resulting supply chain problems. Biden was at the Port of Baltimore and had some interesting things to say about the port issues and resulting supply chain issues and I just want to say that if Trump had passed ANYTHING infrastructure: ports, roads, bridges and airports.. we would not be in the situation we are today. Trump had four years and to top it off he had control over the House and Senate in 2017 and what does he do? gives tax cuts to the rich.
Rachel Maddow spoke with four former associates of Joe Ladapo who also worked in the Covid Unit at UCLA and they said that Joe Ladapo was not involved with taking care of any Covid patients while he was working there contrary to what he said in op-ed's and in other media coverage. Ladapo is what Governor Ron DeSantis wanted: a willing lap dog to push the false narratives and ant- mask & vaccine narratives.. if Ron Desantis can't check the credentials of the top surgeon general role in Florida he has no business being Governor and both he and Ladapo should go..
Aaron Rodgers is back in the news again having just come down with Covid, he sat with the Pat McAfee show and went on a 20 minute diatribe against vaccines, masks and a lot of why it's not good for "him".. isn't much of what we're doing with Covid based on what's good for everyone? Let's deconstruct what Aaron is talking about and is there a way to simplify our approach that will overcome many of the objections as well as the way that everything dealing with Covid has become so political?
Nikki Haley, the former Governor of SC and US Ambassador to the UN was in the news with a clip of her suggesting that older lawmakers should have cognitive tests.. isn't that what elections are for?
James Carville was on the PBS News Hour with Judy Woodruff last night and basically said that "stupid wokeness" was partly to blame for how the VA Governor's race was lost to Youngkin. Let's deconstruct what he said and discuss the implications and how big a role this played in not just this race but potentially other races as well..
It's all about the money with these people, folks.. they peddle Covid fears to push their agenda and profit from ad revenue and donations. Fox News does it with Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon does it every day. Today, Bannon had two people on hs show pushing the fear narrative for money and I wanted to highlight this as well as illustrate how these people overlook convenient facts to push their fear proving that it's really "all about the money"..
This Youngkin win in VA, where's the supposed election fraud? Republicans are touting the Youngkin win as a new 'Blueprint for future campaigns'are you sure? Finally, maybe we can dispense with the fake issues like CRT, election fraud and mask mandates and actually debate Democratic legislation that will actually help Americans.. let's force Republicans to debate why this legislation that helps Americans should NOT be passed.. Lastly, the Let's Go Brandon debate.. can we talk about what this really means?
Over the weekend, folks, there was an amazing thing that happened, Mike Pence was asked who told him to buck the trend and certify the election.. it was almost as if 'the mob' wanted a name.. and the answer Pence gave was amazing. Almost concurrently, Congressman Jamie Raskin was asked about his plans in the Select Committee to "strengthen" the Electoral Count Act and his answers are equally amazing. But the real question is how many Republicans are willing to step forward and say that yes, they support strengthening the Electoral Count Act so that what we had happen on J6 (and almost happen) on J6 never happens again?
Rolling Stone magazine came out with a piece that details how Trump basically treated his insurance for Trump properties as a profit center.. Let's deconstruct exactly what Trump did and how he did it by looking at some examples from this article.
So I noticed that Matt Walsh is trending on twitter only to find out he is taking issue with Pete Buttigieg's paternity leave and that additionally, Tucker Carlson is making snyde comments about it with references to breast feeding.. So let's deconstruct what they said and some of the mitigating factors that once again, the conservative radical right just left out of the picture and maybe we can affirmatively answer the question: do conservative Dads like Tucker and Walsh make for bad parents? you can decide..
This was planned, this was orchestrated.. this interview that Joe Rogan did of Dr. Gupta was nothing more than an ambush devised for full effect of promoting his show and all of the resulting media attention. Let's carefully deconstruct the clips and listen to the interview and you can see how Rogan witheld key information from everyone and called people liars all the way up to when he disclosed this one critical piece of information..
Here we go again folks, Mark Levin is bending the reality of Biden's 'People Infrastructure Plan' to help families pay for childcare to fit his narrative.. it doesn't work that way Mark.. you can't bend the truth just to make a classically bad Republican argument. In this episode, I want to deconstruct Mark Levin's points one by one with fact based arguments that show an entirely different story..
Here's a story from the Texas Tribune of Michele Carew who was basically hounded by Trump Big Lie loyalists out of her job as election administrator in Hood County Texas.. then you have Chuck Grassley who almost kneels to Trump over an endorsement and not to be done by Josh Mandel, running for Senator in Ohio is is making "The Big Lie" his campaign platform! #TheBigLie
Is it any surprise that Mitch McConnell vowed today to not allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices? Is it any surprise that the reason we are where we are today is brought to you by the Republicans? In today's episode, I'll deconstruct this and what Democrats have done to change this in past years and what the real outcome of allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices would be (in addition to lower drug prices).
Republicans learned that on the national stage, Trump does nort play out as well as they thought.. despite all the talk of 'election fraud' they know that the 'out of control' Trump is why he lost and not surprisingly, Glenn Youngkin is the radical right's answer to the 'out of control' Trump.. he's temperate and appears moderate yet what I'm seeing here is a Trojan Horse for the radical right. If he gets the VA Governorship, out spills the Heritage Foundation, the Koch Foundation and all the other radical right misfits. In this episode, let's deconstruct exactly who Glenn Youngkin is and what he stands for..
Rick Wilson of the Lincoln Project reached for the alarm today in saying that his sources indicated that the bipartisan House Committee charged with looking into the 1/6 insurrection will NOT enforce the subpoenas it has issued to Mark Meadows, Dan Scavino, Kash Patel and.. Steve Bannon. Let's deconstruct what was said, Liz Cheney's reply as well what power the 1/6 Committee actually has at it's fingertips to enforce the subpoenas..
For a little midwestern state, Governor Noem has really been kicking up a lot of drama.. first, there's the investigation by the South Dakota AG into how Governor Noem handled her daughter's rebuff by the state when she was trying to get her real estate appraiser's license.. and the payoff of $200,000 to the state employee who ran the department for 40 years. Then we have all the drama around the Governor getting this high falutin' King Air 350 -better than anything any other midwestern state has- and she flies it all over the place in violation of state law the AG contends.. let's deconstruct what's going on here and why this matters.
Well, I have to at least give Lindsey credit for trying here folks.. here he was all dressed up at a GOP fundraiser/get together in Dorchester SC, at what looks like a country club and the poor guy gets booed for suggesting the vaccine. What's worse is that he also gets called a liar for saying that "92% of the people in SC who are hospitalized haven't been vaccinated".. to this the crowd bellows "false" and "not true".. Let's listen to this video and deconstruct what Lindsey might say if I asked him just "what is going on here"
It's all in the War Room podcast: what the alt-right is afraid of and the pschological warfare that they engage in to try and create people who join their cause. In the last episode, I discussed just how little Bannon had to try to describe how Trump was such a good president.. since they really don't have that much to promote Trump with, they revert to disinformation spread through FaceBook to try and gain traction, followers and money. As an example of the disinformation they peddle on FaceBook, I will describe how they twist an anti-vax campaign into an anti-left capaign of control.. the real victory for these people is that they of course make money in all of the disinformation and secondly, when they occasionally get a Trump like guy in office, the policy shifts in their favor which is why they do what they do..
Sloppy Steve Bannon is evidently vying to replace Rush Limbaugh.. the endless accolades for Trump.. the endless crappy arguments Bannon is desperately trying to make to make Trump appear like he was this economic 'genius' who saved America.. in this episode, I want to air some of what Bannon refers to as Trump's winning milestones which, when you get to the 'facts' aren't anything to brag about and the arguments he is making in the process are based on ass-backward premises..
Joe Manchin has been a lightning rod lately catching all kinds of heat for his pushback on the $3.5t 'Build Back Better Plan' and in this episode, I want to look at one of his points called 'means testing'. Joe took a lot of heat for suggesting this but the fact is, it's already being done on some of the provisions in the $3.5t plan.. so, it's not an outrageous point he is making here. After all, we need to listen to Joe's pushback as a form of constructive criticism because if we don't roll out this plan in a way that makes sense, we're opening ourselves to Republican scrutiny on issues like means testing that could hurt Democrats in the coming mid term elections if we're not cautious. Why means test some provisions and not others? Let's take a closer look.
Law professor John Eastman, a lawyer for Trump, laid out a six point plan that he wanted Mike Pence to execute to steal the election away from Joe Biden. It would have resulted in Pence gaveling in Trump as President for another term leaving chaos and courts to decide the fate of the highest office in the land.. Since we're talking election chaos, Sidney Powell is back in the news today with this new conspiracy theory..
In this segment, I have clips of Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro and Sarah Silverman (a comedienne) all with one thing in common: they are calling for Conservatives to secede from the Union. Let's talk about how a string of losses and some real crappy arguments they are making lead to this flawed analysis..
You remember ole Roger Stone, right? He was the one who operated as a link to Wikileaks which Russian Intelligence used to distribute information hacked from the DNC during 2016... Roger was found guilty of witness tampering, obstructing a Congressional Investigation and lying to the US Gov't in relation to his dealings with Russia.. and then on July 10th, 2020, Trump pardoned him.. Well, Stone was just served in the lawsuit brought by US Capitol police in his dealings with the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers in relation to the J6 Insurrection and it all went like this..
Ben Shapiro is throwing a tantrum over the recall loss in California and uses that to presage that Americans should leave CA as he did and retreat, basically, to red states. He talks of a Federal takeover of red states (forgetting about how the Supreme Court is packed in favor of people like him) and that for people like him, a civil war or at least a retreat (as I call it) is what we will see more of.
In reality folks, one of the big reasons why Republicans could not CA is because most Americans don't agree with what Republicans are doing to self destruct their party - and that's what I want to discuss is this Republican race to the bottom..
Not that we expected Trump to be a part of this effort to help Afghan refugees but why not? He could say that they never asked but does he really need an invitation? He was a part of the Afghan problem so it's logical to expect Trump to be a part of the process to help resettle refugees. In this episode, I want to look at that as well as all of the other things many of the biggest US companies and relief organizations are doing to help.
And, yes, we are supposed to believe that. So Tucker starts off on 9/12 on the Rubin Show talking out of his closet it appears saying how much Don Lemon lies but then how he has lied but he tries not to on TV. He goes on to say that he realizes there is power in his show and that he tries to use that power to not hurt people but then the very next day, 9/14, Tucker goes on his show basically telling folks "if they can force you to take a vaccine that you don't need, how much farther will they go?".. he is using the power of TV and himself to influence people to an early grave. Tucker Carlson is the biggest "Covid Snowflake" on TV.
So here we have Donald Trump saying that the recall election is probably rigged and you have Elder saying that he expects election shenanigans and even has a website to collect such 'shenanigans'.. but let's take a closer look at the petition to recall Newsom and more specifically, the unprecedented amount of 'invalid signatures' on that petition. If you want to talk election fraud, it starts right here folks..
Trump has shown people like Ben Shapiro the blueprint for taking something divisive and stupid and fundraising off of it. Ben says he has had the vaccine but believes other people should have the choice and should not be forced by Joe Biden who has said that a company of 100 or more employees has to have everyone vaccinated or they need to be tested weekly for Covid. Talking about freedom here, people should be able to go to work and not fear that they can get Covid from other employees just like they should not have fear that a piece of machinery at work won't take their hand off that day..
In this Fox News clip of Kin Jong-Un, you can see that he has lost a good amount of weight but what did he like that got him so portly? We'll take a look at a Mashable article drafted from insights from an insider to Kim Jong Un's private circle.
If you include the top 1% as well as other wealthy Americans the amount of tax avoidance is around $600b a year which is amazing. You can't run any business if you don't collect your revenue and the Gov't is no different. Republicans have purposefully avoided letting the IRS enforce collecting what is owed to the point that the IRS doesn't even have the staff necessary to decipher complicated returns that the wealthy and corporations are filing. It doesn't make sense to complain about deficits and not empower the IRS to simply collect what is owed by ensuring the wealthy are paying their fair share in taxes..
Howard Stern has an excellent point in that we can't get back to normal and enjoy OUR freedoms while you have these people wandering around who don't choose to take the vaccine..
Franklin Graham is trying to mix politics and religion again in trying to claim that Democrats incentivize people not to work and it doesn't end well.. in reality, and according to the WAPO, "The 20 states that reduced benefits in June had the same pace of hiring as the mostly Democrat-led states that kept the extra $300-a-week unemployment payments in place".. the data speaks for itself..
You can't expect Republicans, like Franklin Graham, to be able to provide a solution that makes sense if they can't even see what's really going on in this economy right now.. what Republicans propose is more of a continuation of the trickle-down economic experiment that simply has not worked for the past 50 years, since Ronald Reagan.. and we know that because we're living it!
At the risk of sounding like Captain Obvious here folks, schools are starting to re-open and many parents continue to fight mask mandates. The point is that if schools can't operate without Covid, they won't be in operation at all.. I blame leaders like Governor Ron Desantis for empowering people to make a big deal out of mask mandates as if it's a major curtailment of their liberties and freedom.. it's not. When you look at all of the resistance there is against vaccinations, when you look at all of their crazy strategies of ignoring Doctors' advice, taking crazy cures-- that "strategy" if you can even call it that isn't working and we know that because 90% of the people in hospitals are the unvaccinated..
As we know, Texas just passed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the United States.. by denying women an abortion after six weeks of pregnancy. By way of illustration, here is how big a fetus is after six weeks. Many women may not even know that they are pregnant! The Texas law also has a provision that allows anyone in Texas sue anyone "aiding and abetting" abortions after the six week mark.. But what can we do?.....
When Donald Trump and Mike Pompeo constructed the Doha Peace Agreement back in 2020 without the Afghanistan Government at the negotiating table, wherein Trump demanded that the Afghanistan Government release 5000 'prisoners' and then told Afghan to keep on fighting and then subsequently drew down American troops to just 2500 troops- that's when Afghanistan was lost. Who negotiates with the Taliban, the enemy of Afghanistan, to have Afghanistan release 5000 Taliban prisoners and then turns around and tells the Afghans to keep fighting the Taliban? Donald Trump did, the 'great' negotiator.. that's when we lost Afghanistan folks, when that so-called 'Doha Peace Agreement' was signed. That's when the Afghan army crumbled, that's when they were demoralized and the damage of that agreement spread like a disease into the timeframe of 7/23/2021 when Joe Biden had his last call with then president Ghani of Afghanistan. Reuters has leaked audio from that call and we'll discuss what Trump did and how Ghani made a cry for help in that call -- but it was far too late, the damage had already been done by Trump when he signed the Doha surrender back in 2/2020.
Remember the story where "a Russian embassy employee" was a witness to Ex- Afghan president Ghani fled the country in a helicopter loaded with so much cash he couldn't fit it all in? Well, that's right out of the Russian playbook folks.. Let's look at how much Russia wanted the US out of Afghanistan and quite possibly what they did to make that a reality..
So today Joe Biden gave a speech on Afghanistan, it was much of the same where Joe Biden said that if we were there one year, 5 or ten more years that it would not have mattered. He mentioned we achieved the goal of removing Osama Bin Laden and that we accomplished that mission.. but think about this though.. with 2500 troops and the Afghan army (as it is) we controlled the whole country. There was limited ability for the Taliban to effectuate their terrorist agenda with just 2500 troops. But in any case, this next story lends character to the whole situation and is not something that Joe Biden can opine about. Then we heard that up to 30k Afghani refugees will be resettled in the USA and guess who is concerned that this will 'move the needle' on our American 'whiteness'? Why Charlie Kirk, the white supremacist, of course..
In this disaster that we are witnessing in Afghanistan over the past week, I have noticed that there are three basic arguments you'll hear about this. In this episode, I will discuss who is making the arguments and why as well as which one seems to best rooted in the reality of what's going on.
Do you really think people like Ron DeSantis in Florida or Governor Abbott in Texas along with all the other usual suspects like Rand Paul really understand how much chaos they are creating and how much harder they are making things for schools around the country that are trying to open safely for kids? And by safely, I mean basis what Covid-19 is doing in their own back yards.. Take a look at what's going on in Franklin TN where medical professionals are being targeted by an angry mob ahead of testifying at school board meeting..
DeSantis always likes to brag that he did better that Newsom in CA but look at this, it's really not true.. DeSantis is so out-of-touch with what's going on in Florida with respect to Covis-19 that he didn't know that the State Dep't of Health requested ventilators from the Federal Gov't! and, by the way, why WOULD the State Health Dep't involve DeSantis? They're not crazy, he wouldn't be any help and they really need the ventilators..
Today Axios is reporting that Dominion Voting Systems filed a lawsuit against conservative media outlets Newsmax, OAN News Network as well as Rudy Giuliani and others claiming defamation.
Dominion has been one of the most maligned companies in America- maligned by the conservative media, maligned by republican lawmakers, maligned by the president and all his men in a vast media eco system that perpetuated and reinforced the lies in an effort to overturn the last election. What Republicans did to Dominion to promote their fraud is inexcusable- Dominion hasn't done anything wrong and is now fighting back to protect their reputation. In that lawsuit, there's a nugget that details a so-called 'expert witness' that OAN used to promote the theory of Dominion election fraud that you may find interesting..
AG Bill Barr resigned on 12/23 leaving AG Jefferey Rosen to instantly get pummeled by Trump to overturn the electioin bust resisted. Rosen was being pressured by a junior DOJ official who had been sympathetic to Trump and even drafted a letter designed to be sent to the GA legislature to cast doubt over the election in an effort to overturn the election results in favor of Trump. How did Trump find a willing DOJ official to help pull this off? Whatever happened to Jeffrey Clark and will anything become of this Trump-Clark coup attempt that a DOJ watchdog group/ Congressional investigators are looking into?
Trump exclaimed to Senate Republicans that you're going to hand Democrats a 'Big, beautiful win' on infrastructure if you allow this bill to pass.. there were no other details provided. Actually, this Infrastructure Bill would represent one of the biggest bi-partisan pieces of legislation to pass in how many years? Key GOP Senators pushed back on Trump's attempts to torpedo the bill offering some salient points in rebuffing Trump's argument.. Maybe, just maybe, Trump is too busy pushing his new Trump cards for supporters. Trump asked people to provide input on which style they liked and then when they offered their input he tried to squeeze them for money.. and what does this card do anyway? What are the benefits?
Tucker Carlson is broadcasting from Hungary this week showcasing Hungary as a sort of blueprint for America- Tucker especially loves how Orban incentivizes a low birth rate in Hungary.. In Orban's Hungary, however, there is a lot not to like and that's what I'd like to talk about in this episode..
Obama's 60th birthday will be held at his Martha's Vineyard 29 acre estate this weekend with the likes of George Clooney as well as Oprah in attendance and the conservative media can't get enough of comparing this event to Trump rally's that democrats said were 'super spreader' events. Is there a difference?
Ivermectin is used by Veterinarians as a worming medicine and Senator Ron Johnson says he is 'banging his head against the wall' trying to get this medicine to be taken seriously.. if you have ever wormed your dog or cat you have probably used this same drug and I will take a look at why this drug is not recommended by the CDC or the NIH..
It's true and we've got ex-White House Chief Of Staff to ex-President Trump Mark Meadows with a clip where he says "we met with several of our Cabinet Members tonight" and he's not joking. What is up with all the crazy talk and playing White House in Bedminster? Maggie Haberman of the NYT reported that Trump is telling confidants that he will be re-instated to the White House in August.. what's up with August the miracle month? August also dovetails nicely with crazy pillow man Mike Lindell who was interviewed by Atlantic Magazines Anne Applebaum and the story gets stranger than fiction folks..
With the news out yesterday about the Delta variant, I need to wear a mask largely to protect those who have chosen not to get the vaccine.. Take Florida, where Governor DeSantis spends 1% of the time telling people to get a vaccine and 99% of his time telling people there won't be a shutdown, there won't be a mask mandate (if you get everyone vaccinated there won't be a shutdown).. But does everyone have the right to infect other people or as Joe says to be an idiot? There is a Supreme Court precedent that esssentially says "no, they do not".. Lastly, here is a consideration that you don't hear much about but you may hear about this shortly..
It's official folks, Jared Kushner is leaving politics for good according to Reuters and he plans on opening an investment firm called Affinity Partners based out of Miami, Fl. In addition, Jared plans on opening an office in Israel to pursue regional investments between Israel and Indian economies. As for Jared's investment firm Michael Cohen had a tweet wondering where the funds were coming from for the Investment Company and also said that the relationship between Tom and Jared would soon be revealed.. there is some interesting information we will discuss that makes you wonder exactly what was the nature of that relationship..
There is a dichotomy, a split, on Capitol Hill between Republicans like Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney that was very apparent today. Trumpublicans on one hand eager to reframe the narrative of 1/6 with Republicans like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger on the other hand who want the truth of 1/6 to prevail. Many might suggest to just let the two sides 'fight it out' and let the Republican party implode.. 'who cares?'
What I'd like to do in this episode is both illustrate that dichotomy and why this matters to us: Independents, Democrats and Republicans..
These people, these rioters, acted like terrorists yet Fox News and Newsmax are labeling them as 'political prisoners'.. treating them like 'victims' and calling them 'patriots'. Patriots don't club people with flagpoles with the American flag on one end, patriots don't spray mace at every police officer in sight.. Republicans, after spending $7million and writing 800 pages on the Benghazi commission and after spending 2 years and 4 months investigating Benghazi -and finding nothing- won't even support a commission to look into what actually happened on January 6th? What is wrong with these people? What is wrong with America?
It was a busy weekend in Trumpworld with the Donald speaking at a Turning Point Rally and among the typical re-litigating the election, he blamed the USA womens soccer teams loss in Tokyo on wokism.. He then explained how if someone robbed Tiffany's jewelry store in NYC how the jewels would be returned.. this is what Trump thinks will happen in the election he lost, that someday the jewels of the presidenvcy will be returned to him and he will be reinstated as president.. Then Mike Pompeo while in CA to give a speech got into a hands-on prayer service where the pastor said Biden, Pelosi and Harris had 'antichrist' world views.. Then last but not least, Tucker Carlson was confronted in a fly fishing shop in MO.. I think that's fine to confront someone like Tucker and here's why..
Jared Kushner has a lot to lose -which along with another conversation Michael Cohen had with Ari Melber where Michael Cohen describes how "they all lied to Congress to protect The Donald"- could provide further speculation that Jared Kushner is cooperating with prosecutors..
It's not just Benny Shapiro, it's literally legions more that are doing the very same thing- whitewashing the events of January 6th to make themselves feel good about being conservative republicans.. listen to Ben say "it was just a security lapse".. "when was democracy under threat?" none of this mitigates the reality that this was an insurrection that was incredibly close to breaking into the chambers of the House and Senate and dragging elected officials out into the streets..
Alan Weisselberg, CFO of the Trump organization told prosecutors that the commute to work from Long Island was difficult.. the Mercedes Benz provided by Trump in what prosecutors are calling a part of a $1.7 million dollar tax avoidance scheme made the ride so much smoother, so much more bearable for Weisselberg.. What really happened here is that Weisselberg fell hook, line and sinker for a "Trump loyalty trap".. in purportedly accepting these perks and not paying taxes on them Weisselberg allowed himself to become part of the Trump problem. With these perks, Weisselberg became further beholden to Trump giving Trump the ability to do whatever without fear of Weisselberg talking or disagreeing about it. Weisselberg isn't the only one either.. prosecutors are evidently looking into the 'arrangement' Trump had with Matthew Calamari as well..
So, as it turns out, Fox News has a vaccine policy. Big surprise, right? If you do not want to wear a mask at Fox, yo have to upload your proof of vaccination into their 'workday' system. What's remarkable is that almost every night Tucker Carlson rails against the same vaccine passport policy on the air and won't even share with viewers whether or not he has been vaccinated. Why all the secrecy, Tucker? Imagine just how many lives you could save if you were vaccinated and shared that with your viewers! What's more important, making big ratings or saving lives?
Smerconish answers that Trump doesn't to promote the vaccine because Trump doesn't want to alienate his supporters but with Trump, there's never just ONE answer. Trump is complex and although Smerconish is correct, there's more to it than that..
Every business has to get paid for the services or products they sell.. the government is no different but Republicans don't want to run the government like a business.. by defunding the IRS. Every time Biden produces new legislation Republicans scream "how are you going to pay for it?" then when Biden says he is going to simply enforce the tax law on the books by making corporations and the rich pay their fair share the Republicans scramble to ensure that won't happen. In this episode, I want to examine how that is playing out today, yesterday and over twenty years ago.. let's expose the games they play today so we can make the rich pay their fair share tomorrow.
In Trump world today Fox News did a segment with Julie Kelly of American Greatness where she pushed the theory that the FBI is purposefully 'persecuting' Trump fans like Robert Morss of PA. Kelly claims that Morss is going to be held in prison for a year until his trial for nothing more than being a Trump fan and trespassing on the Capitol in the January 6th riots. In reality, there's a 28 page affifavit on all the violence Morss engaged in while rioting on the capitol. Fox News along with other operatives are trying to re-write the narrative of January 6th.. Mike Lindell, aka "the pillow guy" is claiming Trump 2021 is a reality because he's seen lots of signs.. Alabama's Roy Moore just had his lawsuit against Sacha Baron Cohen dismissed.. I thought that Roy Moore was supposed to be a smart guy having served on the Alabama Supreme Court?
It really is amazing what Republicans will say at something like CPAC when they are caught up in the spirit of the moment with like-minded denialists and hypocrites. In this Compendium I have clips from Lauren Boebert, Madison Cawthorne, anti vaxxers celebrating and of course, Donald Trump ranting about everything from windmills to spilling the beans on how he deals with bad polls and at the end the ultimate coping mechanism: "we won"..
Donald Trump was on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox News Sunday show trying to distract from the January 6th insurrection by drawing attention to Ashleigh Babbitt who was shot trying to enter one of the last ‘safe spaces’ in the Capitol during the Jan 6th riots. Trump even went so far as to repeat his debunked claim that he asked for 10000 National Guardsmen to be present - debunked by the non partisan organization ‘Politifact’..
Ben Shapiro is no stranger to conservative meltdowns over the "radical" left.. in this meltdown Ben rails agaonst a song that the San Francisco Gay Men's Choir posted on Youtube (subsequently removed) that, in parody, where they all sing into the greatest fears of the far right that they are coming for your children. Of course it's a parody. Of course it's done tongue-in-cheek but Ben just needs this type of an excuse to spew how that it wasn't a parody and that's exactly what gay men want to do. The Gay Men's Choir relesed a statement, in essence, looking to instill "fairness and tolerance" about gays in America- a simple statement that they have every right to make especially since gay marriage is federally recognized law now in 50 states. This alone is a good reason that children should at least be aware that marriage exists between two men or two women and telling children this does not constitute "indoctrination" as Ben Shapiro would have you believe..
The New York Times is reporting that Biden has struck a deal on infrastructure with Republicans and I want to discuss this as well as how big this bill really is-- the bi-partisan $1.2T portion is just a sliver of the bill itself which is actually around $4 trillion. Let's talk about why the Republicans are willing to work with Biden and what this means for getting that portion of the bill done as well as the remainder of the infrastructure bill.. it's a big lift by any stretch. In summary, folks, this bill in it's totality is laying the groundwork for an America that really has to win the next 'war'.. and I don't mean war in the traditional sense here...
It's hard to believe that Kevin Strickland of Missouri has servbed almost 44 years in Missouri prison for a crime the lead witness now says was not done by Kevin Strickland. Strickland was imprisoned when he was only 18 at the time and is now going on 62 years old. On Rachel Maddow's show last Friday, Jackson County Missouri prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said "Governor Parsons pardoned 36 people on Memorial Day and most of those people that were pardoned were no longer in prison".. You mean to tell me that Governor Parsons won't make the pardon of an inniocent man a priority but will make it a priority to pardon people no longer even in prison? There's something wrong with that folks...
It's an interesting race: on one side, we have China and Russia and even Microsoft and Google all racing to create quantum computing which will claim everything we know as "secure" today.. Our online banking that we use, our password security on every website and even Bitcoin won't be immune to being 'cracked'. On the other side, we have people racing to create cryptography to meet the quantum computing challenge before that happens.
When you consider Bitcoin it has several other weaknessess that may make you question whether or not it should be considered a 'store of value' worthy of trillions of dollars..
Bill Maher is on a roll lately --and I don't mind that-- but if you are goimg to make a point, please use facts to do it.. in this situation, Bill is desperate to make the point that Biden's free college plan is unfair in that it penalizes someone who chooses not to go to college by making that individual pay for others to 'go to college'. In reality, Biden is paying for 2 years of community college which should be available to everyone and is going to raise taxes on those making over $400k to pay for it. In some cases where loopholes are closed it's the richest, most wealthy Americans that will pay for this. So no, Bill, 'everyone' (including those who choose not to go to college) will not be paying for those who do take the Government up on the offer to pay for 2 free years of community college. If you can't make a point by sticking to the facts are you really making any point?
Inside Merrick Garland's Department Of Justice, there's quite a bit of housecleaning that should be done after the NYT reported that under AG Bill Barr, the DOJ subpoenaed Apple to gain access to Congressman Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff.. and 12 other people including a minor! Let's keep in mind that Congress is a co-equal branch to the presidency.. not a subordinate branch. Not only do we need to purge anyone at the DOJ who did this but also ensure that it cannot happen again.. In the crackhead segment today we have Crackhead Barney who had a rather interesting discussion with Andrew Giuliani.. Caitlyn Jenner who still has problems doing the math on the last election and Milo Yiannopoulis who thinks dogs stopped barking at him after he went ex-gay back in March..
Another sad mass shooting makes us again question whether or not we as Americans are doing 'everything we can' legislatively to help prevent shootings like this from happening again.. Until we have done everything we can legislatively with common sense laws around background checks for people looking to buy guns- and not allowing 'loopholes' that end up killing people- can we really feel like we have really done enough? The House recently passed HR8 that has two Bills within it that seek to tighten the background checks around gun sales but Senator Manchin has said today that he 'doesn't like' the House legislation for one reason which I will go into and why it makes sense on the surface but upon deeper consideration really doesn't make any sense at all..
