Where It’s Always Autumn is a podcast creatively using nature and a little magick to help calm the mind and bring inspiration back to you.
A look into the 3 types of FUN (and not so fun!)-
Why back country camping / backpacking is so pure and awesome!-
Hiking 4 miles through the woods on remote South Manitou Island, MI with no way out
Really connecting with Nature and seeing all it has to offer
Sleeping in a tiny tent in a lightening storm and waking up to a river under us
The Boat ISN’T coming to get us, and everything is wet…. SHIT!
Getting THE WORST case of poison ivy I have EVER seen
Why hiking with a heavy, full size kitchen appliance in your hands through the lake in a bad choice
Being prepared to enter and survive in the woods

In this Episode:
Why spending time offline forced me to look at my physical reality and how Magick can help with that!
Are we talking about the same Magick in Harry Potter!? HOPEFULLY! I wish. Ok, no.
Magick is a blend of Manifestation, Science, Spirituality, and Connection to the Earth.
Let’s look at how our thoughts and energy can shape our reality and lives.
What’s up with this “K” in Magick / Magic?
If you do Magick, does that make you a Witch who practices Witchcraft!?
We talk about the #devilwoman one more time and clear up some dark and negative stereotypes.
Get out your wands and cauldrons, we’re talking spellwork and taking action to invoke change!
Are you sure you aren’t a Wiccan?
EVERYTHING is ENERGY! And that’s why we have to get intense and talk about Quantum Physics.
Magick, Religion, Spirituality, Science- is it all the same thing!?

In this episode we have a very non-religious, open talk about Paganism, Earth Centered Beliefs, and deciding if I’m a #devilwoman or not. We look back into History, my personal spiritual experiences, and negative stereotypes for this Celebration of the Cycles of the Year and Earth. I’m not here to debate or change anything, I’m here to share what I connect with, express my love for Nature, and shed light on the gifts that paganism has given me. I’m so happy I can be open and share my beliefs in a nonjudgmental way here- and the same goes for you!

How many times have we said out loud to ourselves, family, or co-workers- “I just don’t have time to get sick right now!” As if it’s a total inconvenience that is going to set us back, take away from our lives, slow us down. What we’re really saying is “If I do get sick, I do not have the time to get better.”
We are an overwhelmed, stressed out, overworked society that puts many, many things above self care, our health, and time off. We don’t look at self care as a way of life, we look at it as a treat. We see our health as something we will deal with if it needs attending to, not something we will support and keep oiled like a machine. And time off… what is that? Most people with jobs have a predetermined number of days laid out ahead of time every year that a company dictates as an acceptable amount of time you can be sick, and those days are often not meant to be used for emotional or mental health.
We test, push, and drain our health. We fill our lives to the point where we don’t have time to get sick BECAUSE we are under the assumption we can’t take the time to get better…why is that? And how can we change our mindset around it?

In this Episode:
Jake and I discuss what The Seekers Of is and how we’re bringing it back!
We start out by discussing how we planned our trip to The Great Smoky Mountains and how our ideas of how we would be spending our honeymoon were drastically different! This was the start of how our marriage would unfold and grow from.
Our mindsets back then around adventure, comfort, skill level, and capabilities.
Our fondest memories of the nastiest cabin we have ever stayed in.
What it means to be totally unprepared for a strenuous hike up to a top of a peek at sunset
How a hard hike quickly turned into the hike of hell. Rolled ankles, bears, busted toenails, tears, and darkness.
The epiphany and life changing moment of seeing the peek we had hiked to from miles away.
The person I was, and the person I quickly became from being pushed out of my comfort zone.
Why you have the opportunity to be the person you never thought you could be, or how you may not even know who you are until you try something new.
