Gaps - everyone has them in their lives. Some people call them voids. Other people don't call them anything because they don't realize they are there. The question is, "What are you filling those gaps in your life with?" Could it be that the things we are filling those gaps in our life with are only offering a temporary sense of satisfaction? Could it be that God has greater things in store for us that will satisfy us for far longer, if we will only allow Him to be the gap-filler in our lives?
Condemnation says, "You are guilty. You know you are guilty and here's the punishment for your wickedness." The Holy Spirit's conviction says, "You are guilty so let me reveal to you the truth so that you will be set free from the bondage of sin." The agape love of God says, "I know that you are guilty, that's why I sent my Son Jesus to pay the price for all of your sins. That's also why I sent the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth. Through Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, you are redeemed and restored. Go and sin no more."
Who are you witnessing to in this season? Are the basis of your conversations with those who are already "saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost", or are you reaching those who cannot claim that as their current way of life? Come, listen to today's episode as we discuss what is the most important thing about witnessing to others and we discuss God's wisdom in comparison to ours.
