Friday night and finally time to have a mix.A banked up library of tracks from over two months... it's winter, snow's in the air and I have the fire cranked. I met Adam Charleston , or Adam Rocker as I called him, over 10 years ago when I was playing at Gig at La Di Da.... and this crazy tune loving guy was loving the tracks, especially a remix of a beasty boy tune ...fight for your right to party! We engaged in some manic I LOVE TUNES conversation and swapped details.... music was our first connection but I was happy to discover that there was more to him and we became good mates. Adam was a party boy - there's no denying that this got him in a bit of trouble but regardless of his challenges he was always my friend. Adam had a heart as big as a lion, he had charisma in spades, was full of empathy and love for everyone and a curious mind about the world and the people in it.I made this mix for you Adam, it's got a bunch of artists I know you loved and like you it's emotional and also staunch... I miss you buddy, RIP ... you won't be forgotten. xxxx

A fresh new year and a new mix - it's been a while since my last. September is my birthday month, and the beginning of spring. As I turn another year around the earth I find myself surrounded by those I love and respect, in awe of nature and its beauty and incredibly thankful for all that I have.....especially for the music.

I like to dance under moonlight, feel a breeze and a bass line, smell the forrest, feel the sand, hear the beats...so inspired by her and her moonlight I made this for my dancing tribe. There's a lot more live instruments and a looser feel - more vocals than usual for me but they're deep and introspective and beautiful, especially next to tough round fat basslines. Moon Music....beauty and power, mystic and magical, one of the most beautiful gifts from Nature...I'm in awe of you Moon, this is my homage Symbols and sounds: The "Triple moon" is a Goddess symbol that represents the Maiden, Mother, and Crone as the waxing, full, and waning moon. It is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilitiesxxx

A great experience playing and partying at this Festival over the March long weekend. Thanks to all who joined me on the Bush Techno stage on Sunday, here's most of that set...best heard in the bush under the huge Australian skies :)
