In today’s episode @lanaenpurescorner I discuss with @joefucarino the nuances and joys that social media brings to society. Whether it be millennials on it or the older generation., why do we gravitate towards it?. Its all about balancing, I personally am not a fan of social media. But I do believe being used correctly: is beneficial to your platform. As well as discussing getting the COVID vaccine (whether it is good or bad, safe or not).
Lastly I asked Joe what his views on race in America are as well as police brutality and the recent murders of black men by the hands of police. Sometimes we find it hard to PULL ourselves away and do other things, most cases we feel as if we are missing out on the (next tweet) or (last picture). But 10/10 we just want to feel important and relevant. Grant it if you have a business use social media., but sometimes we get carried away by technology on our phones..

Being a millennial I can relate to wanting to build and leave a legacy, because as a African American women that is what we want for the future. To have a piece of us left for future generations to come. Not only is it crucial in our community but to spark that change or make that difference we must start somewhere.

In this episode to close out 2020, I reflect back on my journey this whole year and what an experience it has been. This is episode 15 of my podcast and boy what a road it has been, this year has taught me patience, regrouping, time management and a better understanding of who I am.
