He who willfully breaks one commandment, does not, in spirit and truth, keep any of them. “Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” James 2:10. Why did James say that?
The law was fulfilled in Him, not destroyed. As we assimilate Christ, they law may also be fulfilled in us. The law is simply this. Love God and love your neighbor.

What is the difference between being persecuted, and being an annoyance? People don’t persecute annoying people. People persecute those who they are afraid of.
What is the difference between being a peacemaker, and being a pushover? Being true in the hidden purposes and motives of the soul, free from pride and self-seeking, humble, unselfish, childlike.
What did Jesus mean by saying “Poor in spirit”? Is Jesus interested in our character development?
