Foreign Affair is own by Corby Spirit & Wine since 2017 – part of the Pernod Ricard Family of company. Foreign Affair is known for their Italian inspired style of wine - à la Appassimento, but like everything else, Foreign Affair is evolving and is now more than just Appassimento wines. We will talk about their new sparkling wine, their Pinot Grigio and how they invested heavily on their hospitality side of the business – they were already a must-visit, but with their new tasting room, you really need to go to see it. As for our guest, René Van Ede – he’s originally from Australia and brings a wealth of expertise with years of experience in the wine business. You will realize early that René know his material and bring an amazing new approach to The Foreign Affair Winery.
An interview with Nadia and Ilya Senchuk, the co-founders of Leaning Post Winery in the Niagara region of Canada. They started as a virtual label in 2009 and acquired their current property two years later. Their location is uniquely situated between Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment. Nadia and Ilya are well-known in the region for their contagious energy and passion for their terroir. Ilya is the winemaker, and Nadia is the business brain behind the operation. They are a dynamic duo, passionately pursuing their ultimate dream.

We are honored to welcome Moshé Weizman, the co-founder and CEO of WineIng, a groundbreaking start-up based in Tel-Aviv. WineIng is a digital platform that utilizes smart flash group buying, acting as a Direct-to-Consumer (DtC) enabler, empowering merchants and buyers to sell and purchase wine more effectively, together.

Our guest is a highly recognized media personality, particularly in the United States. He is the Chief Climate Correspondent for the news channel CNN: Bill Weir has covered numerous major events including the war in Afghanistan, he has been the first American to broadcast live from Tibet, and he reported from various disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and the Japan tsunami.
