Village Young Adults
This is a podcast by Village Young Adults. We exist to create an environment for young adults to move deeper with Jesus and therefore change the way they relate to culture and the world in the scenery of everyday life. The Collective is a gathering for young adults (ages 18-30) that happens twice a month on Friday nights. The Collective is a way for young adults to connect and grow in community as well as learn how to follow Jesus more and more in their day-to-day lives.
Paul describes believers as being a part of a new humanity in Christ. What does that new humanity look like and why do we not experience it in our day-to- lives? Tune in as Dan dives into the topic of what it means for us to live as Humanity 2.0 in the new family of God.
Do you go through life encountering God? Like when you bring God to mind, what do you think God thinks of you? Does it feel like there should be more to our relationship with God and our walk with Jesus?

Is the Bible full of “arcane rituals aimed at pleasing a volatile deity” as one writer put it? Does God promote violence? Is He a wrathful God? Is the God of the Old Testament different than the God of the New Testament? Who would want to worship a God who is such a monster!

Will only a select few people make it to heaven? While billions of people burn in hell forever? Did Jesus really teach that God would torture people for all of eternity? And the real question: What is God really like? How can this God ever be good? How can this God ever be trusted? And how could that ever be good news?
