All righty. So it's the difference between being a coach and being in the business of coaching.
Because a lot of people are coaching, but they're not in the business of coaching.
It's the difference between having an occupation and being a business owner. It's a different position. And it's a different activity. Because it's a different identity.
You've got to move from having an occupation, being a coach you move from that position to owning a coaching business.
You do that and your activity changes, you do that and the way you show up, where you show up in your business changes. You do that and the amount of money that you make changes, you do that, and what you share changes.
You've got a choice. You can have an occupation. That's a big word for job, or you can own the business. The business owner is a different identity with different thoughts, different perspectives, different strategies.
Some people say,and I love this one, by the way, I've been saying this for a while I've been teaching this for well over 10 years of learning it for well over 20. "There's a massive difference between working in your business, and on your business."
And so many people they work too much in their business, rather than on their business. And here's the key. You're not going to be able to really make decent distinctions around those two until you move to the state of owner.
You get I own an information marketing business. I own a consulting business, I own a coaching business. I own a training business. I just don't train or coach, or teach. I love doing those things, but above all of it. I am an owner.
And the owner. You see, being the owner means I have employees; systems, strategies, that work for me, that do the work.
I still do work. The owner still does work. But the owner occupies a different location, a different position. They see the business differently. Think about it. Here's a really simple one, ready.
Someone who's who has an occupation, a job. They expect a payday on a regular basis. And that's the thing. "Am I making money this week, am I making money this week, am I making money this week, am I making money this week I need to make money this week."
"And that's, you know, I do the work, I need to get paid, nobody's paying me I'm doing the work. I'm not getting paid that's called, see if the business doesn't have an owner."
You can have, you can be the employee of your business, but if your business doesn't have an owner, nobody writes you a check.
On the other hand, if you own the business, you write the checks. This is subtle. This is sneaky. This will change your world. Alrighty. This is the 2020 money and mindset show. See ya.
