7th Grader, “Betty”, debuts with her tutorial. She takes the word problem, translates it into algebra, and then solves it. There are variables on both sides of the equation.
Another debut from two 6th graders, Kermit and Freckles (not their real names). Watch these two simplify a problem using the order of operations (also known as PEMDAS and GEMDAS). “Kermit” did 100% of the editing and this was her first time ever using Camtasia Studio!

Screencasting on the iPad! For Free! In this episode, the ScreenChomp App is showcased. It is meant as a rough “tutorial” and mainly as an introduction to the possibilities we might have using this with our students.

In 3D, another World’s First! Yes, it’s another boring “unboxing” of the iPad. But we tried to make it just a bit more interesting by bringing it to you in 3D. I think the beginning effects look the most promising. We’ll keep experimenting with the 3D webcam.

"Bob" speaks to a parent as they both walk down the sidewalk. This is the first time anyone here used the microphone-enabled iPod. Bob had no headphones, no training on how to use the iPod and no script. The complete interview is spur of the moment. This is only the beginning for our future use of the recordable-iPod. The ease of use and the mobility of the iPod has opened-up new and exciting possibilities for us.
