This is Annamarie. I'm a mindfulness teacher, entrepreneur, and urban rivitalizer. My personal mission is based on Ghandi's suggestion, "be the change you want to see in the world."
In 2015 I started a company called Mind Body Align focused on collaborating and networking in order to nurture and inspire. You can find more information about Mind Body Align at MindBodyAlign.com. In 2017 Evan Ryan and I launched Align Mindfulness which is a Free app available in you app store. I wanted subtle reminders to bring me into self-awareness. The app sends prompts 3 times a day, bringing attention to one aspect of your world. These reflections help build a well-rounded "mindfulness" muscle. It is intentionally simple and meant to supplement other apps, as well as your meditation routine.
In early 2019 I uploaded my first meditation to insight timer to support my students in their meditation practice. Evan, Emily Parsons (our social media guru) and I also decided to begin recording podcasts that demonstrate, through story and conversation, Everyday Mindfulness. Our intention is to learn from eachother and grow in our understanding of life and mindful living.
