In this episode, Carl sits down with his own dermatologist, Dr. Yuval Bibi, MD, PhD, a board-certified dermatologist trained in Boston who spent 16 years in clinical practice in California before opening his own practice in Coral Springs, South Florida. Carl has known Dr. Bibi personally for about a year and a half, and the conversation reflects that ease: a doctor who treats skin not as something to fight, but as, in his words, "a divine miracle."
Dr. Bibi explains his holistic, evidence-based approach to dermatology: while he still performs biopsies and conventional treatments when medically necessary, his real focus is helping patients understand how the skin sustains and heals itself, and how most of the damage people experience is self-inflicted. He breaks down what "sensitive skin" actually means and introduces the concept of the skin barrier, the skin's own protective upper layers, and explains how modern cleansing culture, hot showers, harsh soaps, loofahs, and scrubbing routines actively strip and damage it. Carl shares his own experience learning to shower differently at 85 years old after years of scalding water and heavy chemical soaps.
The conversation moves into Dr. Bibi's two books: Sick Skin: Skincare Made Simple (2023), which examines the skincare industry as something closer to a "secular cult" preying on vanity, fear of aging, and insecurity, and Baby Skincare, which challenges the marketing pressure placed on parents to buy unnecessary products for their children. He and Carl also dig into the newer men's and teen anti-aging skincare markets, and the irony that many anti-aging products actually accelerate aging by damaging the skin barrier, creating what Dr. Bibi calls a "hamster wheel" of self-inflicted damage and reactive treatment.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Bibi is a multidisciplinary artist. He shares the story behind his Snake Apples series, sculptural pieces built from real snake skin (black mamba and Western diamondback rattlesnake) wrapped around apple forms, a biblical reference to the Garden of Eden designed to spark conversation. Carl connects this to his own wife's faith-based jewelry line, and the two discuss travel, family, and faith. Dr. Bibi, born in Jerusalem, Israel, shares stories from Japan and Peru, his own skincare product line for sensitive skin, and how he spends his downtime playing beach volleyball in Deerfield Beach.

In this episode, Carl reflects on a summer that showed America at its best, and warns about a current running beneath it. Fresh off the 250th anniversary of the United States and a World Cup that drew hundreds of thousands of visitors, Carl shares what he's been hearing and why it's pushed him to speak out.
Visitors from Europe and beyond left saying America was nothing like the country described in their home press. But alongside that pride, Carl points to a darker undercurrent: rising antisemitism and growing sympathy for communism among younger Americans, which he traces to decades of educational failure. A generation raised without strong historical literacy, he argues, has no framework to evaluate the ideologies it's being handed.
Drawing on his memory of standing in Berlin in November 1989 as the Wall came down, Carl runs through the twentieth century's record on communism (the Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, Cambodia, China) and argues it ended in mass death everywhere it took root. He revisits Joseph McCarthy, saying history has vindicated warnings once dismissed, and draws a parallel to how small, organized groups, from the Bolsheviks to the Nazi Party in 1930s Germany, seized control of nations despite representing a small minority.
Carl turns to the present: a Democratic Party platform he says now includes eliminating the Senate, restructuring the Supreme Court, ending private property rights, and slashing defense spending; concerns about election integrity, citing a recent Los Angeles race; and the decision to eliminate Iran's nuclear capability as a necessary check against extremism. He connects the erosion of Judeo-Christian foundations, including churches he feels have drifted from scripture, to a broader loss of moral clarity.
Carl closes on a personal note: rather than despair, he's taking his grandson to lunch to talk through what the younger generation actually knows, framing it as a responsibility every American shares. Invoking the Founding Fathers ("we stand together, or we hang alone"), he asks listeners what they're going to do to pass on the truth.

As America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, Carl takes listeners on a bold, unforgettable journey through the people, ideas, and moments that shaped the United States.
For the sake of brevity, this special episode traces only a sample of America's heroes, innovators, and cultural icons. From the Enlightenment ideals that inspired the Founding Fathers—Jefferson, Adams, and Franklin—to the defining leadership of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, the episode explores how liberty, courage, and conviction forged a nation. Lincoln's leadership during the Civil War, and the enduring power of the Gettysburg Address, reveal how America's moral compass was tested—and strengthened.
The story expands beyond politics to honor cultural and humanitarian trailblazers, including Elvis Presley, Julia Ward Howe, and Clara Barton, whose influence reshaped music, social reform, and humanitarian care.
Modern leadership comes into focus through Eisenhower, Kennedy, Reagan, and Donald Trump, examining moments that redefined America's role at home and on the world stage. The episode also celebrates American creativity and innovation—from Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, and Taylor Swift, to inventors like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and Steve Jobs, whose ideas transformed everyday life.
Sports legends such as Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Serena and Venus Williams, and Shohei Ohtani embody the spirit of perseverance and excellence that continues to inspire generations.
Woven throughout is the power of storytelling, honoring literary voices like Mark Twain, Maya Angelou, and Ernest Hemingway, whose words helped shape the American identity.
As the nation approaches 250 years of independence, this episode stands as both a tribute and a challenge: honor the past, protect the principles that unite us, and take part in shaping what comes next.
America's story isn't finished.

In this episode, Carl interviews legendary Cuban-born jazz drummer Ignacio Berroa who spent over a decade alongside the great Dizzy Gillespie and has performed with icons like McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Clark Terry, and Jaco Pastorius. Born into a distinguished Cuban musical family, Ignacio fell in love with jazz at age 11 after his father brought home a Glenn Miller Orchestra record, and he never let go of the dream, even when the regime he lived under made loving American music a punishable offense.
Ignacio opens up about what life was really like inside Castro's Cuba: the state surveillance, the religious suppression, the secret nights spent tuning his radio toward Key West to catch Willis Conover and the Voice of America Jazz Hour. He shares the heartbreak of tasting freedom on tours through Spain and knowing he had to return to a country that felt like a prison, and the impossible loyalty that kept him from defecting because two people he loved would have paid the price. When the Port of Mariel finally opened in 1980, his cousin flew from New York and waited in the harbor for a month to bring him home.
The conversation moves from the personal to the prophetic as Carl and Ignacio discuss the truth about Marxist regimes that today's young Americans never learned in school, the lessons of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie, the four and a half years Ignacio's wife and son were held in Cuba as hostages while he tried to make it in New York, and why he believes the Cuban people deserve nothing less than full freedom. With his memoir The Path I Chose: My Story now available on Amazon, Ignacio offers a powerful testimony of resilience, faith, and the unstoppable pursuit of a dream.

In this episode, Carl interviews Pastor Rob Pacienza, Senior Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and a leading voice for faith and cultural renewal in America. From a lost teenager who walked into Coral Ridge through a neighbor's invitation, to becoming the third senior pastor in the historic pulpit once held by his mentor Dr. D. James Kennedy, Pastor Rob's story is one of grace, calling, and conviction.
Pastor Rob opens up about the moment that reshaped his ministry forever: the loss of his three-year-old daughter Lily to an immune disorder seven years ago. He shares how grief either pushes you into despair or propels you to make every moment count, and how God used that valley to transform his preaching, deepen his empathy, and ignite a fire in the belly to lead boldly in this cultural moment.
The conversation moves from the personal to the prophetic as Carl and Pastor Rob discuss the Great Awakening of the 1730s, the Black Robe Regiment, the urgent need for Christians to vote and engage, and the three myths about America's founding that have eroded our national soul. With the 250th anniversary of the United States approaching, Pastor Rob unveils the Celebrate America initiative, his role as co-chair of the National Day of Prayer on May 7th, and a vision to reclaim what made America great in the first place.

What happens when a nation loses its moral foundation?
In this episode, I reflect on the first day of spring and Palm Sunday, when millions gathered to celebrate Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, ironically, while "No Kings" protests unfolded across the United States and the United Kingdom. I share my perspective on the messaging behind these demonstrations and what I believe they reveal about growing division, political tension, voter ID debates, and legislation like the Save America Act.
I shine a light on media bias, social turmoil, and institutions many feel are failing, and why I believe these challenges point to a deeper loss of faith, values, and spiritual grounding. I also highlight the importance of strong churches, courageous leadership, and guiding the next generation with purpose.
This episode is a call to seek truth, stay informed, strengthen your community, vote wisely, and lead with faith and love.

One life. One leap of faith. One battle that changed everything.
In this powerful and deeply moving episode, Carl sits down with entrepreneur, musician, and fighter Rick Langnas, a man who built a thriving company from the ground up, lived the American dream, and now faces the fight of his life with stage four cancer.
From a childhood marked by instability, attending 13 schools in 12 years, Rick learned early how to adapt, fight, and persevere. Those lessons carried him into a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, where he eventually took a leap of faith, left a secure position, and built United Medco into a company employing over 250 people before selling it to a major firm.
And just as life seemed to open into a new chapter of freedom…everything changed.
Diagnosed with stage four renal cancer, Rick was forced into a battle he never saw coming. What followed was not surrender, but strength in motion. With unwavering resolve, he chose to focus not on what he couldn't control, but on how he would respond. Through treatments, setbacks, and uncertainty, Rick continues to live with intention, leaning on faith, discipline, music, and mindset to carry him forward.
This episode is a raw and inspiring look at resilience, perspective, and what it truly means to live a good life. It is a reminder that even in life's darkest moments, you can still choose courage, purpose, and joy.

How to start a successful business is something people ask me about all the time. Bottom line: you must have a solid plan. After more than 65 years as an entrepreneur, I've learned that success rarely comes without preparation, discipline, and a clear understanding of the market. In this episode, I share why I believe the opportunity to build a successful company in America is greater today than it has ever been. While technology and industries have changed dramatically since I first started, one principle has never changed: people want to do business with people they know, like, and trust.
In this episode, I explain that the first step in starting a business is not filing paperwork or building a website, but clearly defining your idea and understanding the problem you are trying to solve. Before investing significant time or money, I encourage entrepreneurs to identify their customers, test their idea with real people, and determine whether their solution truly meets a need. Too many startups fail because they rush ahead without validating their concept or thinking through the risks and realities of running a business.
I also share the story behind one of my early companies and how recognizing a simple problem in the real estate industry led to the creation of a new service model. My experience has taught me that successful businesses grow from solving REAL problems for REAL people.
With thoughtful planning, financial discipline, and the willingness to work hard through challenges, entrepreneurship can become one of the most fulfilling journeys a person can take.

In 2011, after a stroke, chronic pain, and losing nearly everything, I discovered that faith, love, and purpose can still rebuild a life.
In this episode, I share the journey that led me to create Along the Way Life's Journey and the life experiences that shaped my perspective.
I grew up poor in Brooklyn during World War II, where I learned early how to survive, first as a street kid and amateur boxer, and later as a businessman. I went on to build a successful career and life, but everything changed when serious health challenges threatened my independence, mobility, and even my ability to speak.
I faced chronic pain, dependence on prescribed medication, and a stroke. There were moments when I did not know how I would move forward. Through it all, my faith became my foundation. It gave me strength when I felt weak, hope when things felt uncertain, and the ability to rebuild my life with purpose.
In this episode, I speak honestly about aging, grief, physical limitations, and the emotional challenges that come with loss. I also share the daily practices that sustain me, including prayer, gratitude, lifelong learning through Hillsdale College, and staying mentally and spiritually engaged.
My hope in sharing my story is to remind you that aging does not take away your purpose. Every stage of life has meaning. Every day is an opportunity to grow, contribute, and love others.
Life will test you, but faith, perseverance, and love can carry you through even the most difficult seasons.
I am grateful to still be here, still learning, and still sharing what I have learned along the way.

One prayer. One gunshot. One life forever changed.
In this unforgettable episode, Carl sits down with Dr. William J. Boss, a pastor and educator who was shot point-blank in the head while praying at the altar of his own church, and miraculously lived to tell the story.
What followed was not chaos, but faith in motion.
Bleeding, disoriented, and moments from death, Dr. Boss embarked on what he calls "The Death Walk"—a staggering journey through his church, praying aloud and pleading with God for his life. Doctors later declared survival nearly impossible. If he lived, they said, he would never be the same.
Three days later, he walked out of the hospital.
Still carrying the bullet in his brain, Pastor Boss shares the spiritual, emotional, and physical aftermath of that moment and how forgiveness replaced anger, how faith overcame fear, and how trauma became the foundation for a deeper calling and the inspiration for his incredibly moving book, While on Bended Knees.
This episode explores what happens when science reaches its limits, faith steps forward, and a miracle refuses to be denied.

In this powerful episode, Carl peels back the layers of a tragedy that shook the nation. What begins as the shocking assassination of political commentator Charlie Kirk unfolds into something far more unsettling — a mirror held up to modern society. Through unnerving realism, Carl dissects the cultural machinery that manufactures division, outrage, and ideological violence.
He traces the path of Tyler Robinson, a young man lost between digital noise and real-world disconnection, revealing how algorithms, echo-chamber classrooms, and the loss of true community can twist conviction into catastrophe. The episode challenges listeners to confront the uncomfortable truth: tragedies like this are not born in isolation — they're engineered, nurtured, and normalized by the world we've built online and off.
With raw honesty, Carl confronts us all by asking a question that lingers long after the episode ends: If we keep feeding the machine, who will it come for next?

Today’s show is an open discussion on the protest demonstrations happening across the United States and the impact of propaganda on shaping perceptions.
I firmly stand with Israel and believe it is a beacon of hope and progress in the region. The ongoing conflict is not only about Israel, but part of a larger agenda to divide and weaken the United States. This is not just a theory; there are facts to support it.
Let's talk about George Soros and his Open Society Foundation, which has been involved in funding divisive activities around the world. It's crucial to be aware of these influences and not fall for manipulated narratives. As Americans, we must speak out against agendas that seek to distort our thinking and divide us. I encourage you to seek the truth and not be swayed by propaganda.

Sabine was born without arms but has never accepted limitations. Instead, she learned to use her feet for everyday tasks -getting dressed, writing, typing, texting, combing her hair, applying makeup, and driving her non-modified car.
As if mastering the challenges of living with her thalidomide disability wasn't enough, in 2012, she was faced with another serious and life-altering event.
While driving her car in a remote part of New Mexico, Sabine suffered a massive stroke.
Miraculously she was found, rescued, and she survived!
However, the stroke left her with left-sided paralysis. She could not walk or talk, and her memory and other cognitive skills were severely impaired.
Her acronym P.U.S.H., which stands for Persevere Until Success Happens, helped her persevere through 12 months of physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Today she lives a fully independent life again.
Sabine believes adversity should not control your life!
She works today with people who feel stuck in hardship and have lost Hope.
Using her easy six steps P.U.S.H. Framework, she shows her audience how anybody can reframe adversity into meaningful opportunities to live a thriving life regardless of the circumstances.

This week, Dr. Jerome Huyler joins the show for his third time! He is a distinguished scholar and author, sharing thought-provoking insights on the topic of limited government and its impact on American society.

This week I welcome my friend Donovan Gayle to the show! He is originally from Jamaica and has an incredible passion for God. We actually met about 6 weeks ago at a clinical laboratory where Donovan was working at the time.
He has such an interesting background. He grew up in Jamaica with an adopted family who were pastors, so he was introduced to God and the church from a very early age. After doing well academically, he graduated high school in 1992 and then moved to Kingston where he became even more involved with his church and grew closer in his faith. In 2019, he came to America.
Donovan truly believes that the most important life decision is to accept God and live according to His principles; to preach and share God's goodness. I hope you all find this conversation as inspiring as I did.
Stay tuned for more insightful interviews on Along the Way Life's Journey! Thanks for tuning in!

As you likely know by now, I love speaking with young men who have powerful stories to tell to the next generation. My guest this week does just that! Jared Laskey joins me and talks about his family, including his 18-year-old son who just graduated high school and his oldest son who left to attend a discipleship program in Switzerland.
Jared and I connected over both having served in the military and seen many parts of the world. We agreed that there is too much political polarization in America today when we should be united by our shared faith in Jesus.
Jared shared about how he became a Christian at 18 but later struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after serving in combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. It took him years to get treatment and do the hard work to heal. Finally in 2018 he attended a retreat where he had a major breakthrough regarding his PTSD. He realized he had shut off his emotions during a traumatic combat event, failing to feel compassion for an injured enemy combatant. Through prayer and support from fellow veterans at the retreat, Jared was able to find healing and restoration in Christ.
Jared is a Staff Writer for God TV and contributor to Charisma Magazine, AG News, Message of the Open Bible and more. He has a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Studies from Eugene Bible College in Oregon, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Shepherds Theological Seminary in North Carolina and Master of Divinity from Regent University in Virginia. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006-2011, deploying to Iraq in 2007-2008 and Afghanistan in 2009. His heart and passion is to awaken this generation to the power of the Holy Spirit. Using his prophetic gifts to glorify Jesus, he teaches people how to hear God's voice and pursue intimacy with Him. Purchase his Spirit Empowered Journal and co-authored book, Veronica's Hero from Amazon.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Clay Boatright has lived in Texas since 1994, where he and his wife Carole raised three daughters, including identical twins with severe intellectual disabilities and autism. With undergrad and graduate degrees from the University of Memphis, Clay managed two full-time careers for almost twenty years, one in the consumer-packaged goods industry to pay the bills and another as a volunteer advocate for people with disabilities.
Over the years, Clay developed a deep understanding of the disability industrial complex and served on a host of health and education advisory committees, including Board President for both The Arc of Dallas and The Arc of Texas. Published multiple times in various media, Clay is often contacted by legislators, the media, nonprofit organizations, and parents of children with disabilities to help understand the challenges that families like his live every day.

Prior to founding The Bucket Ministry, Christopher worked as a business consultant. He had no intentions to enter full-time ministry until he accompanied his then-high school daughter on a mission trip to the Brazilian Amazon in 2012.
While on the first stop on the Amazon River, Christopher witnessed the devastating effects of a lack of access to clean water on communities there when a woman asked him if he was thirsty. He watched her grab glasses, walk to the edge of the river and collect two dirty cups of water. Realizing he couldn’t drink this contaminated water, it was at this moment he heard the Lord say to him, “Help them.”
He returned home from the mission trip with a conviction to somehow merge the two great scarcities of God and water into one ministry. Thus, The Bucket Ministry was born.
Since founding The Bucket Ministry in 2015, Christopher has expanded the ministry’s work beyond the Amazon to actively evangelize and provide water filters to over 20 countries. The Bucket Ministry’s mission is to share God’s love through the gift of safe, clean, drinking water; and Christopher has every intention to realize that mission in every place lacking its spiritual and physical blessings.

Jon Beebe's favorite titles are husband, girl dad, friend, and man of faith. After those titles, he is a proud member of BillsMafia, a traveler, and an avid entrepreneur. His life mission is to live and work in a way that allows him to engage more with those he loves and the things he loves. His lifestyle shows that this is not just something Jon talks about, but he also actively lives it out. When it comes to business, Jon desires that his companies also provide resources that allow others to engage more with those they love and the things they love.
Having worked more than 35 different jobs, he finally decided to take his experiences and create the life he wanted for himself and his family. His latest career before going into full-time entrepreneurship was as a pastor (14 years). Most of those years were spent as a youth pastor at one of the largest churches in the country (LCBC Church, PA). Due to some anxiety his wife was going through and him almost reaching the point of burnout because he was pastoring and helping run his and his wife's affiliate marketing company, he decided to leap into full-time entrepreneurship.
His life has had its share of struggles, from suffering crippling emotional/psychological abuse growing up, navigating life with dyslexia, being told by his college registrar that he would never make it far with the degree he chose, and never seeing his beloved Bills win a Super Bowl.
With all the struggles, there have been way more wins. Jon married his best friend, Lauren, in 2007, and they have three beautiful daughters (Ava, Juiliana, & Londyn). Together Jon and Lauren own Beebe's Bargains. Beebe's Bargains is an online affiliate marketing company that saves people time and money by finding the best deals on everyday products. Since its start in October of 2018, they have seen exponential growth, saving their community hundreds of thousands of dollars yearly on everyday products. As of May 2023, their Facebook community is over 63k and organically growing by an average of 700 members a month. Community building is one of Jon's strengths.
Along with Beebe's Bargains, in June of 2022, Jon founded Beebe Travel. He acts as a Travel Specialist, inspiring people to travel and teaching them how to make it happen, no matter their time or budget constraints. Jon is also an entrepreneur coach and loves helping people see their dreams come true and achieve financial freedom.
When he's not serving people with his businesses, he loves traveling to Disney World with his family, following his hometown Buffalo Bills all over the country, and spending time with friends.

Roman's story is one of resilience and determination. As a 1st generation immigrant from Ukraine, he faced many challenges when he arrived in the US with his family. In this episode, we uncover the riveting story of Holocaust survivor, Herman Haller. Despite enduring unimaginable events, he has managed to maintain a positive outlook on life. Along with his daughter Heidi, he joins us on the show to share his survival story of one of the worst atrocities committed in human history, the Holocaust.
Born in Berlin in 1924, Herman has lived through a time that most of us can only imagine through history books and movies. He has seen the worst of humanity, but through it all, he has never lost his faith in God and his belief in forgiveness.
Herman's story is one that needs to be told. He was only six years old when his parents divorced, and he hardly knew his father. His family was in the furniture business, and his mother was able to run the business with the help of her brother. Herman had a younger brother, and they lived a comfortable life until the rise of the Nazi party.
In 1933, when Hitler came to power, life changed for Herman and his family. They were Jewish, and they were no longer safe in Germany. They tried to leave the country, but it was too late. In 1942, Herman and his family were taken to a concentration camp.
He was determined to live and tell the world about what happened during the Holocaust. Today, he is a witness to history, and he is still fighting for justice and peace.
Herman's daughter, Heidi Cherry, is also a guest on the show. I’ve known her for many years, and I’m proud to have her on the show. Heidi knows that her father's story is one that needs to be heard!

ROBERT WOLF, M.D. is a neuroradiologist who attended the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his training at Brown and Yale Universities. He grew up in a suburb of Detroit as the only child of Ervin and Judit Wolf. Their stories of their escape from communist Hungary, and his father’s tragic history of escaping the Nazis twice but losing his own parents, inspired Robert to document his parents’ tales and share those stories with Jewish groups, history aficionados, and biography lovers throughout the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. In Not a Real Enemy Robert shares his family saga—and the forgotten history of the nearly half million Hungarian Jews who were deported and killed during the Holocaust—through an epic and inspiring tale of daring escapes, terrifying oppression, tragedy, and triumph.

Dr. Christina Murray OD, FCOVD, is a board-certified optometrist in vision development. She is a proud graduate of both The Ohio State University and Nova Southeastern University.
Since she was a child, Dr. Murray wanted to be an eye doctor but developed a passion for working with those with vision problems when she discovered deficits in her own visual system as an adult. Over the years, she has spent her post-graduate years studying primitive reflexes, syntonics light therapy, and exploring how the brain processes visual information. Dr. Murray is on a mission to bring awareness child's ability to read and learn. She is actively working with parents, legislators, and the school board to change the laws to consider visual processing disorders a disability. Expanding the law will allow for better coverage by medical insurance plans and children to get the accommodations they need in the classroom.
Dr. Murray opened Center for Better Learning in 2018 and has expanded to three office locations in Coconut Creek, Boynton Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens. She works very closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, cranial-sacral therapists, and tutors to provide comprehensive care for each patient. Her dream is to eventually open an office location where she can work side by side with other health care professionals in a collaborative way.
Dr. Christina Murray lives in Boca Raton with her husband, Paul, two daughters, Amelia and Emma, and two golden retrievers, Sadie and Bentley. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family. As an avid runner, biker, and swimmer, she hopes her kids will allow her enough time to train for a half iron man this year.

Just four years after Jerry Sander married his lovely wife, Wendy in 1996, in Laguna Beach, California, the happy couple moved to Florida to start their faith-filled journey into full time ministry at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. Over time, God developed Jerry’s heart for teaching and his passion for discipleship, and as Calvary grew, Jerry was ordained as pastor and asked to shepherd the church’s first regional campus, Calvary Boca Raton. Jerry has a great passion for the lost, and so he triumphs Calvary’s wide-open door policy to anybody who wants to know God. Serving as the Boca Raton campus pastor gives him a great advantage point to reach those living in this area, and searching for the truth. Psalm 23, which says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing,” confirmed his call to live out John 21:15-19 by loving and feeding His sheep. At home, he loves spending time together with his wife, Wendy, and daughters, Jisella and Jianna.

Our guest today is a man I have known all his life…my brother Giuseppe Buccellato; who I call Joe. Like myself, Joe was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the US Army, married and raised two children. He has held many jobs throughout his life…truck driver, top Toyota Car Salesmen on Long Island, NY, Estate Grounds Manager, and finally in his retirement as Chaplin of a Volunteer organization called Smile Faith; a non-profit organization providing Veterans with needed dental care and other services.
As Chaplin, Joe continues to use his great storytelling talents to comfort and support Veterans in need. Joe has been a story and joke teller all his life, so you may say he has been in training for this new role since he got his first laughs years ago and realized he could make people smile and laugh.

Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree from California State College and a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson University School of Law. He was selected to attend the first Southern California Key Executive MBA program introduced by Pepperdine University.
While attending undergraduate school he was the first and only student to volunteer for service in the USMC during the Vietnam War. As a Marine Infantry Officer he was decorated for Valor in combat and led over 200 patrols and ambushes against the enemy. After Vietnam came a tour at Camp Lejeune where he was in charge of a Rifle Training Company while attending US Naval Justice School. He was then assigned to Camp Pendleton as a Reserve Liaison Officer with the objective of rejuvenating Marine Corps Reserve Units because of a massive reduction in Active Duty personnel that had taken place.
Jim was then appointed General’s Aide-de-Camp to General Hugh Hardy and General Paul Godfrey. He medically retired as a Captain after serving 12 years on active and reserve duty.
While attending Law School Jim helped initiate the Veterans Outreach Program at San Diego State University (the first of its kind) helping downtrodden veterans who were discharged from the military without an Honorable Discharge due to drug/alcohol abuse or psychological reasons. Jim felt strongly about these veterans who came home to a divided country and wanted to help them achieve a General or Honorable Discharge status so they could be eligible for government educational and vocational benefits.
Jim earned two American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts and Trial Practice. He was selected as President of Nu Beta Epsilon, the prestigious National Legal Honorary Society.
Jim’s passion of honoring Military heroes and remembering their sacrifices led to his short story, “In Search of Heroes.” This story has led to two Off Broadway Productions–“In Search of Heroes” and “The Remnant.” He has expanded his passion to include motivational talks to the younger generation of Americans to learn about these TRUE American Heroes.
Jim is a member of First Marine Division Association, Third Marine Division Association and Disabled American Veterans.
James Kyle has over 40 years of experience in Venture Capital for Commodity Trading, Corporate Finance and Real Estate Development. His ability to disrupt standard industry procedures has been the key to his success in providing capital to many ventures. From his initial interest in the volatile Commodity Futures market; he was instrumental in the formation of the first Managed Commodity Trading Funds of the 70s. By setting aside the standard of management fees and retail commissions he introduced Trading Funds that only charged their clients a percentage of the profits! This disruptive change led to raising capital for some of the most successful Traders in the Managed Commodities market.
Pivoting from the commodity market to high-risk business ventures in the 80s was a natural step for him by applying his disruptive standard to raising capital for startup companies. His clients would be introduced to ventures that believed in the stockholder first. Kyle’s mandate–No salaries, no perks, no compensation for the principals /owners until the company was profitable. He continues to bring his passionate disruptive change standard to his current Advisory and Director positions. Companies such as:
Director, Realty Pilot, the fastest and most reliable asset management and valuation SaaS platform in the Real Estate Industry
Director, EFG America, the only devulcanization company of its kind in North America revolutionizing the Rubber Industry
Advisor, Intiva Health, the only Big Data Vertical SaaS Healthcare Management firm of its kind in the Healthcare sector
Advisor, High Performance Building Systems, Revolutionary Steel Structured Insulated Panels company deployed worldwide to such locations as Haiti commercially and the Caymans residentially that withstood Cat 5 damage!

Danielle.Coleman was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She earned her associate degree in paralegal studies at Briarcliffe College; Bachelor's of Business from University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a certified paralegal certificate. Her objective is to be an advocate to assist children and the elderly.
She has been a residential coordinator running five group homes for the developmentally disabled adults and children. She has worked for the US Census Bureau for the past 13 years as a field supervisor, training and conducting surveys for numerous departments of the United States Government; for example the Justice Department, department of Labor and Statistics, and HUD, as well as Clerk of Hillsboro County for all elections.

I’m in awe of this young woman and I'll admit it, to be transparent, she's my niece and Godchild. And I, for one, think she is amazing and always have. Please welcome Danielle to the show!

Mel Nass is a former IBM engineer who, along with his wife Phyllis, became co-owners of national grape distributor Venture Vineyards, a 150-acre farm just above Seneca Lake.
Mel and Phyllis originally visited the Finger Lakes on a camping trip and fell in love with the area…the rest is history! They began raising table grapes such as Concords, Niagaras, Wordens, and seedless grapes that grow well in the Finger Lakes. Mel strategically pitched his grapes to local grocers, first giving them sample orders to sell for 100% profit…the gesture worked like a charm and they soon began calling him to order 100s of boxes at a time. On top of local distribution, he shipped the grapes all over the country and they are now carried by massive supermarkets such as Tops, Wegmans, Wal-Mart, Publix, and Winn Dixie.

I’m flying solo in this episode and addressing some pressing issues. And I know I’m not alone when I say “I’m Mad as Hell and Not Going to Take It Anymore!” What is going on in America today? History continues to repeat itself and it is absolutely ridiculous. We need to come together and insist that change is made!
Recently I was on a cruise and connected with several people who shared similar thoughts and feelings. We’re fed up…people of differing opinions…different skin colors, political parties, it doesn’t matter…we’re Americans, and we’re not going to take it anymore. This is (supposed) to be a FREE country with a FREE and independent press…which we no longer have sadly.
In this episode I share how YOU can take action & make a difference.
I’d love to hear your feedback, please connect with me on Facebook or Instagram and let me know what you think of these topics as well.

I have often said that I created this podcast to bring forward guests who are both motivating and inspirational. Todays guest certainly has both qualities with a long varied career of successful endeavors.
From Sales and Marketing, Private Business, President of numerous national companies; this significant career all started when he was very young, being named the youngest dealer by Ford Motor Company.
Additionally, he was a member of the first team All-American Skeet Shooter Team. Then he went on to lead a successful career within the National Residential Real Estate industry.
After traveling the nation for years and as he tells it, “eating thousands of meals in every kind of restaurant imaginable”, he decided to do something about it and is now the acclaimed Owner/Chef of The Lafayette Inn and Restaurant in Central Virginia, named the very best.
Alan married his High School sweetheart Kaye, and together they have one daughter and clearly the apple of Alan's eye, grandson Hunter.
I have known Alan for more than 30 years and always found him to be a man of faith and integrity.
His mottos is WWJD.
Welcome to the show, Chef Alan Pyles!

Angola Africa was a country engaged in a 27 year long civil war, after the discovery of many natural treasures including minerals, oil, etc.
The Soviet Union and Cuba added to the destruction attempting to take charge of the country. Many Christians were persecuted and tribal genocide resulted in the deaths of many. The after effects of the war also were harrowing for the population due to land mines and malnutrition.
And yet many held on to their faith and continued to grow the church.
Our guest today is Fernando Candumbo. He was born in Angola, Africa. He’s married to a beautiful wife & has two beautiful children.
Fernando is a committed follower of Christ, he received his primary education in Angola and is now studying for a Masters of Theology at Garrett theological seminary in Evanston, Illinois.
His mission is to help serve the church in renewal. He’s a man who can laugh with the joy of the spirit and pray deeply for God’s direction in his life.

As a professional percussionist, Santos has played with the "Who's Who" in the world of modern jazz and rock music. Now he sings and plays for the only one "Who" that matters: Jesus Christ.
Born in New York City, Santos learned percussion in the deep ethnic neighborhoods of that city. He grew up during a time (in the late 1950s) when "Doo-wop" became particularly popular. Santos got his first break in the music business by playing percussion at Carnegie Hall on the same bill as the legendary jazz group "The Jazz Crusaders." and George Benson. That introduction eventually opened doors for him to play with other renowned jazz musicians of the time, including Weather Report, Wayne Shorter, Charles Earland, Stanley Turrentine, and Les McCann and many others.
Later, his talents as a percussionist allowed him to play along with such famous bands as Charlie Daniels, Moby Grape, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, Pure Prairie League. But he had a terrible secret that was destroying his life -- he was addicted to drugs, a habit that nearly had him sentenced to life imprisonment. Then finally Rock n Roll hall of fame Icon Dion DiMucci of Dion and The Belmont's fame showed him the way home to Jesus Christ.
Now Santos tours the world constantly sharing the good news that has truly set him free.

Dr. John D. Erickson has joined Convene as an Advisory Board Chair because he is passionate about growing thriving leaders. Johns says he “wants to bring you tangible value as a Convene Board member, and to walk with you wherever God is taking us together."
John lives in Lafayette, Indiana, the home of Purdue University, his undergraduate alma mater. He’s also a former engineer with the US Navy in naval aircraft development, as well as the US State Department, traveling with the Secretary of State, and developing security protocols for US embassies around the world. During that time, he and his family lived in Kenya and Israel, and traveled extensively in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
John’s government and international experience provide a unique worldview, and an ability to understand the events around us with a broader perspective. John encourages leaders to develop a wider view of the world beyond their immediate life circumstances.
The second phase of his career took him to seminary at Trinity International University (TEDS) near Chicago, where he earned a doctorate in Practical Theology. Some of his writing includes Three Paths out of Paradise, a book which explores the root motivations behind our desires and decisions, especially in the face of stress or pain. Its central idea drives passion for supporting leaders: “You will either flounder or flourish in every relationship depending on how well you know your own heart.”
An important part of John’s relationship with leaders has been showing them how to understand and deepen their hearts for God, their families, and their workplaces.

A few years ago, Dan nearly died. Well, technically he did. Several times. BUT, through the amazing work of some incredible doctors, he was granted some “extra innings” - as they say. He wasn’t going to squander them. He became a gold medalist in the senior olympics and was nationally ranked by the USA Track & Field Association as a master's track and field athlete.
But Dan believes there is more meaning to life than medals. It’s the quality of life that he got back. It’s being able to play with his grandkids and be present in the lives of his four beautiful daughters.

James Harvey III was born in Montclair, New Jersey, in July 1923. When he was a young teen, his family moved to Nuangola Station, Pennsylvania. Harvey excelled in high school, becoming senior class president and valedictorian.
In April 1943, the Army drafted Harvey as an engineer. He previously showed interest in cadet training but the Army denied him. He reapplied and completed the Cadet Training Exam at Bolling Field, Washington D.C. Harvey attended flight training at Moton Field, Alabama. He went to flying school at Tuskegee Army Air Field, where he graduated as a second lieutenant in October 1944. Harvey served with the 99th Fighter Squadron where he flew P-47s at Godman Field, Kentucky.
Before Harvey’s unit could deploy to Europe or fly support for the push into Japan in Okinawa, the war ended. After the U.S. military officially ended segregation in 1949, Harvey’s squadron disbanded. Harvey joined the 332nd Fighter Group and was one of three pilots in the first U.S. Air Force Weapons Meet at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. His unit placed first in the competition and Harvey earned the nickname “Top Gun.” However, the Air Force did not recognize the victory until 1995. In an interview with the American Veterans Center, Harvey recalled their performance during the meet.
“We led from start to finish.”
After the competition, Harvey served at Misawa Air Base, Japan, where he flew F-80 Shooting Stars. In 1950, Harvey became the first black jet fighter pilot to fly in Korean airspace and received a Distinguished Flying Cross and multiple other Air Medals after inflicting significant damage to enemy forces during inclement weather conditions. Throughout his time in the military, Harvey received 11 different Air Medals due to his numerous engagements with enemy forces.
Before retiring from the military in May 1965, Harvey served as a flight commander, a flight safety officer, a test pilot, an assistant group operations officer and a battle staff training officer for the commanding general of the North American Aerospace Defense Command. He left the service after 22 years as a lieutenant colonel. Harvey currently resides in Denver, Colorado, and is one of the few remaining members of the Tuskegee Airmen.

On this episode of Along The Way Life's Journey, we have an entire family as our guest, the Zolek family. Mom Dawn, Dad Stanley, and son Stanley Richard. The young family with all the benefits of life ahead of them, whose eldest child is born with cystic fibrosis, with all the negative prognosis common to 20 years ago. Both Dawn & Stanley are graduates of Northeastern University, where they met. Dawn, an event planner and management specialist and Stanley, a derivatives energy specialist will not allow those negative predictions to become their child's future.
Together they formed the Stanley Richard foundation and created a force for raising millions of dollars in donations, annual events to raise awareness of the disease and the potential for cures while supporting medical teams searching for effective change and the treatment of cystic fibrosis. They've become members of the board of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Young Stanley goes from becoming the curly haired poster child to being part of the very first trials of the drug, which will later be approved by the FDA. Stanley is now a strong, healthy young man who will soon go off to his first year of college and become a living reminder that with God, anything is possible.
Please welcome the Zolek family.

All Saints started in 1990 in one room altar chairs and had a small refrigerator in one side. We started with one English mass. Then added the spanish mass. We started feeding the poor with me Father Bob giving my PBJ chips and coke to a man at the door one night. then the next night he brought a friend and it grew quickly. I put tables chairs in another room and then we were off. The kitchen moved to a free standing building at 3350 powerline rd. and we were there for 20 years and moved into the church 2014 due to problems with the city of Oakland park.
Our mission is humbly built with benches that don’t match…light bulbs exposed….a humble altar in front….and paint donated to us to paint outside and inside. In 2013 we had a fire with no insurance. God answered us with leaving a picture of His Son untouched by the flames over the altar and a figure of woman in ash on the wall (Virgin Mary). We received enough donations to build back immediately. Our insurance turned out to be God.
The soup kitchen feed everyday all people all types, all races, religions. We feed freely without preaching to them. We believe the best message is a message of love in action. They know who we are by our actions. We have many volunteers daily and serve breakfast dinner, showers, shoes, clothes, showers, meds. and much more.
