My name is Jacqueline Moss. I am the Founder, Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Uniquely U Health & Wellness. I was born in Bertie County but currently reside in Granville County. I began my nursing career as a CNA, Medical Assistant, LPN, and R.N. Four years ago, I returned to school to earn my BSN, and after pursuing my BSN, I pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in nurse education.
I have over 20 years of nursing experience. My nursing experience has ranged from working in a Nursing Home, ICU, L&D, Staff Development Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Med Surg, Home Health, and Behavioral Health.
My major achievements outside my family have been graduating with my BSN and MSN with distinction, receiving Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and becoming a Medication Aid instructor certified by N.C. BON, I recently became a BLS instructor, being a V.P. nursing student, and started my business, Uniquely U Health & Wellness. There are several reasons why I wanted to start my business, wanting to work for myself and spend more time with my family, wanting to help women that are battling issues with their weight, wanting to be of some help to the growing community, I want to help people that are suffering from mental illness and donate to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Thank you, Jacqueline

To create a stronger foundation for the future of clinical nurse leaders for long-term care organizations and their clinical nurse leaders. I have been in the nursing field for over 30 years. I have worked in long-term Care for most of my career as a nurse. I started in the position of a certified nurse aide, LPN, RN staff, and supervisor ADON unit manager then to the position of Director of Nursing. I have worked as a DON for over 15 years. Over the past six years, I have seen a profound change in this field. When I returned to school, I obtained an MSN degree to teach and help nurses. And from my experience, the Director of Nursing needs the guidance and support more than anyone I believe it is a role that does not get the extra support that is truly need. So, I decided why not take my experience and help other clinical nurse leaders, such as the DON, to build their confidence and improve leaderships and overcome the challenges in their roles. I have a passion for helping long-term clinical nurse leaders obtain the recognition they deserve and give back to the specialty of healthcare, which gave me a great career. So I decided to start my own consulting and coaching company to assist the clinical nurse leaders , the DONS. My vision for my company is to To create a stronger foundation for the future of clinical nurse leaders for long-term care organizations and their clinical nurse leaders.

Join us for Morning Infusion with Dr. V as we talk with Meredith Miller, Health and Wellness Coach about how she lost 90lbs. She is now a health and wellness coach helping others with their weight loss issues.
Applied for surgical technology 1999, program was full so I was referred to medical lab technology. Graduated 2002. Did general lab and pharmaceutical chemistry lab for 10 years.
2012 stepped into a phlebotomy supervisor role.
2016 left that role and went back to a general lab working in an er/extended care facility in a small rural town (it was old school and I like going back to my roots).
In 2017 I had surgery to remove the skin after 90lbs of weight loss and had an overgrowth of normal flora (bc I’m extra and it always happens to me) and became septic.
During my hospital stay and recovery, the facility decided to dissolve their er and thus the lab.
I had opened a boutique on the side (I’ve always been an entrepreneur) and decided to do that full-time.
In July of 2020 my husband and I decided to move out of our home and begin living full time in our rv and travel to find where God really wanted us to put down roots.
Oct 31 we moved out of the house for good.
I have always struggled with weight, so healthy living, especially after my sepsis had been a central theme in my life. Learning best how to be a good steward of the body God gave me and the life he blessed me to keep.
One morning while journaling and having my quiet time, the Holy Spirit took the pen and basically told me that I was going to be a health and wellness coach and I was to continue my education to become a nutritionist.
