“On Dialogue” is a podcast that brings together religious leaders and experts on interreligious dialogue from around the world to share experiences from an interfaith perspective. A trained conflict analyst and mindfulness practitioner, Sohini has worked in conflict-prone areas in Bengal, India, helping tribal communities improve inter-community relations through interreligious and intercultural dialogue. Hayat Amiree is a TEDx Speaker, a peace and conflict trainer and an Afghan refugee living and working in New Delhi, India. In this episode, we follow Hayat’s past, present and future aspirations and shed light on the challenges refugees face while living, studying, and looking for work in their country of settlement.
For this episode of “On Dialogue” we sat down with Dr. Jenn Lindsay, a documentary filmmaker and KAICIID Fellow, who during the onset of the first COVID-19 lockdown, produced a short documentary film about how religious communities in Rome found creative solutions to celebrate Passover, Easter and Ramadan despite the lockdown. In her film Quarantined Faith, Lindsay documents how members of the different religious communities of Rome found new ways to stay connected through innovative storytelling methods and how the isolation brought them closer together in many ways.

February 4th 2021 is the first celebration of the International Day of Human Fraternity. This monumental day signifies a major step in interreligious relations, as well as for the recognition of the role of religious leaders and organizations by the United Nations and other international organizations.
