The internet has given unlimited access to the entertaining and educational content making attention the new currency on which algorithms are designed for. This has a HUGE importance on your life both in a short and long term for your productivity, your understanding and choices that you will make. It is worth spend some time to think and evaluate what type of content do you consume on a daily basis and how to improve the quality of it, and that's why I spend 10 minutes taking about it in this episode.
Too many people plan their lives on a 1 year time frame and that creates a short-time mindset that makes it almost impossible to achieve goals and stay focused on building a career in several years as it should be. In this episode I want to touch on a few points to see things from a different perspective, especially after a 1 year of Covid-19 lock-downs.
If putting a lot of time into things to have great results was enough things would be much much easier than what they really are. In my experience putting in a lot of time hasn't been a productive thing, quite the opposite, and there's a reason for that.
Many people doubt themselves because they are hunted from the question "Am I Talented?" without really analyzing what talent might be an how much control over it each of us has. Here's my rant on how I perceive talent and what can be done about it.
