Wise guy... Good fellow... Mobster... Enforcer Mafiosa... Gangster

These are all names that at one time described Tom Papania from an abused New York street punk of 15 years of age until 1984. Tom's main goal in life was to make Al Capone look like an amateur

Tom worked his way up in organized crime to a trusted position in the New York Gambino organized crime family. Tom answered directly to the now deceased Paul Castellano. Tom wielded fear, terror, and brutality to control the New York mob's expanding interests. Bomb threats to contracts on Tom's life couldn't stop the hell bound course crime had put him on.

On a road to Damascus experience, Tom Papania surrendered his life to Christ. Tom's past caught up with him and he was sent to the Atlanta federal penitentiary to await trial. The trial was one of Atlanta's longest, lasting 11 months. God used the maximum security cells of the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary to mold and develop Tom's new Christ-like character.

After almost a year, Tom was set free by the Grace of God. Tom continued in his commitment to Christ and is now an ordained evangelist and executive director of God's Saving Grace Ministries. Tom now goes back into the prisons with the power of the holy spirit, truly setting captives free.

A dedicated and innovative senior executive and entrepreneur with an accomplished career spanning more than 25 years of founder, general executive and financial management experience across several industries including software (SaaS), higher education, services and digital media.

After graduating cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, Mike began working at BDO, where he became a licensed CPA. From there, he joined one of his clients as a 25-year-old CFO, providing structure and helping accelerate growth at a business that was sold to a publicly-traded, strategic buyer.

Mike then furthered his education by earning an MBA from The Wharton School, during which he not only interned at a top venture capital firm, performing work on its highly-successful IPO, but also co-founded an internet startup.

Mike then joined Fortune 50 company AOL Time Warner, where he led or participated in many successful deals across all media divisions. After proving his capabilities, he was asked to move to London to help advance the recently launched AOL operations in Europe.

With his entrepreneurial instincts eventually taking over, Mike left AOLTW to co-found B&H Education, which grew from $0 to more than $145M in revenue in becoming the second largest national chain of schools offering vocational programs in the fields of beauty and wellness. He and his partners sold that company in a highly-successful transaction for its investors. He continued to lead the newly formed, recapitalized company with his partners post-sale.

During his time at B&H Education, Mike co-founded Vocado, a SaaS provider focused on student financial aid analytics, which was sold through a highly-favorable transaction to Oracle Corporation. He currently serves as the CFO of FranConnect, the market leader in franchise management software.

Mike is also active in his community with numerous organizations and initiatives. He and his wife reside in Clifton, Virginia with their three children.

In the fall of 2018, I am seeking a consulting assignment of three to eight months' duration to begin in December, 2018, or January, 2019. My current pattern is consulting work as a boots-on-the-ground sales professional, helping Senior Living Communities bring in new Residents and ensure future revenues, as I complete a masters degree, my focus being a journal article called Shakespeare for Seniors.

My skill is quick-study, rapid turn around of the Senior Living sales effort, with almost immediate new revenue at any level of care, specializing in upscale CCRC or rental, both legacy and pre-construction. I am based in Washington, DC, and Birmingham, AL, but will work anywhere.

atfleeson@cox.net or 703 863 1359

MY PASSION AS A CHAMPION OF BUILDING SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITIES:

♦ 80 million Baby Boomers are heading into the sunset of their lives. I am one of them. ♦ Demanding choice, Boomers will compel the Senior Living Industry to explode with “vibrant retirement living” options to accommodate the Silver Tsumani about to hit their shores. ♦ The current bricks-and-mortar can only house 8% of the Boomer population. ♦ The industry needs creative strategists – like myself – who can take it from blue sky to profitable stabilization. ♦ With more than 30 years’ study of family systems psychology, I am a compassionate facilitator who can help adult children deal with the guilt of “putting my parent in a home” and the denial of addressing the issue until Mom and Dad can’t live alone anymore. ♦ I will help seniors address their three most pressing questions:

  1. When do I leave my home?
  2. Where do I go?
  3. How do I not outlive my money?

♦ I will offer families safe harbor to minimize the “transfer trauma” as their senior moves out of their life-long home. ♦ I will be a trusted partner in one of the most important life decisions that a child and parent can make together.

Husband, father and imperfect follower of Jesus are probably the descriptions of me that captivate most of my thoughts. Having those things right seems to make everything else fall into place a heck of a lot better. Fortunately I married someone who supports me so completely that keeping things right is so much easier!

After leaving the US Navy I embarked on a career in the mortgage business with no knowledge of what I was getting into. After over 2 decades I can say the challenges and excitement of this business far surpasses all I experienced flying P-3’s all over the world for the Navy. I’m also more excited about my business and career today than the day I first started. It truly has been a wonderful adventure and life.

Below my name my title says, “Team Building Coach”. I believe everyone needs a coach. If you’re a loan officer in the mortgage business looking for a change…chances are you’re looking for one of 3 things: - to do more business - to do the same/more business in less time - to make a real difference for others by how you do that business

That’s what I coach our team to do.

In my years as a producer I was one of those $100+ million dollar LO’s. For a little more than 5 years my team topped that mark and I was able to do it working part time.

I believe you’ll need all or most of the following characteristics/beliefs to make things really happen in your business and your life: - Honesty. Your word must be your bond. - Coachable. - A Grateful Heart. - Embrace the Hard. Mastery is the Goal. - Batteries Included. - 1 is Too Small a Number for Greatness. - Competitive Spirit - Life-Long Learner - Winners Take Responsibility…Losers Blame Others.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to take a moment and show you how partnering with our team can help you tap into your talent and build a career and team worth having.

The Key to Sales Success: Just Be Fundamentally Sound.

This is harder than it truly sounds. All of us deviate from fundamental soundness from time to time. Some of us do not know that we are deviating. This is where Increasing Revenue Inc can help by returning a sales person or a sales organization to the fundamentals so that their revenue will increase.

Helping Locally Owned Business Increase Their Sales.

Always looking to talk to business owners and sales managers. (571) 213-6661.

Passionate about helping firms minimize sales person turnover.

Recruiting is only a small factor in minimizing sales person turnover.

By just following the fundamentals of sales, I created a Monopoly for a client of Increasing Revenue worth about 2 1/2 the firm's annual revenue.

Taught many people the basics of cold calling. One sales person after spending 4 hours with me, cold called a prospect on Thursday and Friday that prospect placed an order surpassing the sales person's annual income.

I have 10 years experience in political and online organizing, social media advocacy and causing the right kind of trouble.

In 2014 I founded uCampaign, a platform that makes it easy for our clients to build powerful apps which engage their supporters and create a trove of valuable data for their wider digital and engagement efforts. uCampaign has powered the official smartphone app of over 50 organizations including the Republican National Committee, the UK Conservative Party, the National Rifle Association, Ted Cruz for President, Rand Paul for Senate and Donald J. Trump for President.

In 2017 we expanded our global footprint to 12 countries and launched RumbleUp, the most advanced peer-to-peer (P2P) texting platform that makes it easy for clients to have 1-on-1 conversations at scale. RumbleUp has been adopted by over 150 clients in the past year who have sent tens of millions of text messages for get out the vote, fundraising, voter ID and persuasion, local and federal advocacy, driving event attendance and a dozen other use cases, including non-political use cases.

For 7 years I authored one of the most popular Catholic blogs in the world, AmericanPapist.

Founding and now directing New North to be an agency like no other keeps me busy. After 17 years of working with brands like Southern States, Pfizer, NV Homes, WLR Companies, Kimberly Clark, and a host of others, I'm still propelled by the drive to turn every opportunity into a success for our clients. Tired of the misconceptions and alternate realities that most marketing companies operate in, New North is working to "take the mystery out of marketing" for our clients.

I'm a numbers guy with really good ability to convey difficult concepts to the language of the living room, and my clients tend to agree. Analytical, with a clear perception to see things that are outside of the numbers, working many times to help organizations with process or political issues before solving the apparent problems. And I love every second of it. Fulfillment for me is helping my clients find their goal and score.

I launched one of the most impactful apps in the Apple App Store and Android Google Play stores...Flikshop.

Flikshop keeps families that suffer from incarceration connected. Our users can take a photo, add some quick text, and for $0.99 Flikshop prints the photo and text on a real tangible postcard and ships it directly to any person in any jail, prison, youth facility or immigration facility.

In 1996 I was arrested and faced LIFE in prison. I was 15 years old and ended up getting sentenced to serve 8 years in adult prisons throughout the State of Virginia.

Because of my experience, I learned how important mail is to the 2.3 million men and women in prison and ended up creating a business that helps keep each of them connected to their families. After the success of the Flikshop mobile app I went on to create the Flikshop School of Business to assist in building reentry eco-systems for men and women released from prison that center around entrepreneurship, coding, and mobile app development.

Our award-winning and program has won: 2015 Innovator of the Year (The Daily Record) and 2016 Aspen Ideas Festival Award (Booz Allen Hamilton).

I sit on the board of directors of Justice Policy Institute and the advisory board for The Aspen Institute's Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund.

My other specialties include team building and business development training.

AUDACIOUS. INTEGRITY. BE BETTER.

I encourage you to watch my TEDx Talk "The Prison to Entrepreneurship Pipeline" to learn more about my journey.

My professional career started at the age of 14 when I followed the encouragement of my father to start my first venture. While enrolled full-time in college, I worked in sales for AT&T and as a IT consultant with EDS. After graduation from UF with my bachelor’s degree, I joined the Management Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP, now Cap Gemini, leading projects in IT Project Management, Post Merger Integration and ERP Implementations worldwide. I then moved to E.piphany, now Infor, as an executive in their Consulting organization leading CRM implementations for Fortune 100 firms before joining Lectra Systems as the CIO and Director of their North America and Caribbean Consulting Organization.

In 2003, I left Lectra to start Infinity Business Systems, later renamed Infinity Technology Solutions, a leading IT service provider with operations throughout Florida and Georgia. Infinity provided a complete technology offering for hundreds of businesses, including hardware and software solutions, outsourcing, Managed IT Services, Cloud Solutions, VoIP Telephony, website and software development services. I led Infinity to success transforming a $24,500 investment into one of the nation’s fastest growing and most successful Managed IT firms before selling Infinity to Zeno Office Solutions in 2012. Pat Gelsinger became CEO of VMware in September 2012, bringing more than 30 years of experience in a variety of technical and executive roles. Under his leadership, VMware expanded from its core strength in virtualization to become a recognized global leader in cloud infrastructure, enterprise mobility and cyber security. Through helping customers accelerate their digital-transformation journeys, VMware has nearly doubled its revenue during Pat’s tenure, generating 2016 revenue of $7.09 billion. VMware has over 500,000 customers and 75,000 partners worldwide.

Prior to joining VMware, Pat was president and COO of EMC’s Information Infrastructure Products business, overseeing engineering and operations and leading the office of the CTO. Pat began his career at Intel, where he was appointed the company’s youngest VP and was the architect of the original 486 processor. A few years later he became Intel’s first CTO. In 2008, Pat was named a fellow of IEEE and awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters in 2008 from William Jessup University.

Pat grew up working on his family's farm in eastern Pennsylvania. As a teenager, he stumbled into the tech industry after taking a trade-school test on a whim, an exam he now refers to as “my great accident.” Based on his scores, he was offered a scholarship to Lincoln Technical Institute where he earned an Associate’s degree in 1979. Pat then took his first plane trip to Silicon Valley and started work for Intel as a quality-control technician. While working full-time at Intel, he earned his Bachelor’s from Santa Clara University in 1983, graduating magna cum laude, and also earned his Master’s at Stanford in 1985.

Pat and his wife Linda have been married for over 30 years, have four married children and three grand-children (and hopefully many more to come!). Pat is a committed Christian and the author of “The Juggling Act: Bringing Balance to Your Faith, Family and Work.” He speaks frequently on faith, work and philanthropy.

Scott is a passionate leader with a head for business, an entrepreneurial spirit, and some basic tech savvy. He's not allowed to write code anymore - but over the past 25+ years he has designed, built and/or managed IT initiatives ranging from small pilot projects to enterprise overhauls using Internet technologies. A "startup guy" at heart, Scott's spent nearly two decades working with a great team to build Yakabod into a premier niche solutions provider. His previous corporate experience also includes management positions with two national system integrators.

He serves a number of regional organizations in an advisory or board role, including TechFrederick, FITCI, crossedBridges and New Spire Arts.
