Brent was hired by the Arlington Fire Department, at age 18, as a Firefighter/Advanced-Emergency Medical Technician where he’s spent the last 7 years at one of the busiest fire stations in the nation, running over 7,000 calls per year. Most of these calls were medical emergencies such as Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Arrest, Trauma, Anaphylaxis, Strokes, and Seizures of all ages and demographics. Brent is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field to further his career and achieve other goals outside of the Fire Department, including the development of In Good Hands BLS. He has a passion to help others in need, and a strong sense of dedication to teach medical providers and the public the same skill sets he required throughout his career. By using real experience learned from the field, he plans to teach his students the correct way to use their acquired skill sets in real life scenarios, not just the classroom.

Stacey Magovern went from outside salesperson to running a multi-million-dollar company overnight. The wife of a police officer Stacey’s passion for helping families of law enforcement became her business. She launched her company Point Blank Safety Services in 2012 with no way of knowing today her company would be one of the most successful traffic safety and security companies in Texas. She then used that success to pay it forward by founding a nonprofit, Blue Family Fund that provides scholarships for First Responder dependents and financial aid to families of injured or fallen law enforcement officers. Stacey is not just the CEO and founder of these businesses but is also a best selling author, entrepreneur and motivational speaker.

Jimmy J. Tran is a business owner, nonprofit volunteer and civic leader. He founded Oak Lawn Group LLC in 2010, which is a real estate investment firm focused on the Oak Lawn area and surrounding neighborhoods in the Dallas core. In addition to direct investments, Oak Lawn Group also makes passive investments as a limited partner with established operators, focusing on well positioned, cash-flowing assets with potential for long-term capital appreciation. Jimmy also owns Code Ninjas Preston Hollow, a computer coding program, and XP League Dallas, an esports league. Both programs target elementary and middle school aged kids. Prior to becoming a small business owner and entrepreneur, Jimmy led Corporate Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions activity for a $10 billion+ business segment within CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services company. While at CBRE, Jimmy led $2 billion+ of acquisitions, and his business unit's earnings (EBITDA) grew 3X over a period of 8 years. Prior to CBRE, Jimmy worked as a management consultant for Bain & Company in Dallas, Hong Kong and Singapore. Jimmy holds 4 degrees from SMU and 2 degrees from Harvard.
Jimmy enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and 3 kids, taking his Akita/German Shepherd on neighborhood walks and up-keeping his aquarium and red‐eared slider turtle. Jimmy takes the time to meet and mentor others and continues to look for ways to make an impact at the intersection of the private, public and nonprofit sectors

Lucia offers integrated social media management and consulting options for small businesses in the Dallas area. She has always been passionate about supporting small business, as many of her friends and family members own their own businesses. I am a PGA Golf Professional elected to membership in August of 2015. I have been a Professional and teaching golf since 2008. Over my years in the golf industry I have also managed multiple golf and country clubs.
During my time as a Professional, I grew an appreciation for instruction and the technicality of the golf swing and equipment performance.
In April of 2020 during the Coronavirus Pandemic, I decided it was time to get back to focusing on teaching and took the steps towards what is now Maverick Performance Golf. In addition to teaching, a YouTube channel was also launched under the same name. The intent for the videos is to bring golf entertainment, in the form of instructional videos, equipment reviews, course vlogs, and occasional interviews.
In October of 2019, I also helped launch Golf by 2 GetAway Travel, a golf-oriented division of the popular travel agency 2 GetAway Travel. Partnering with some of the world’s most sought after golf resorts and courses, I help plan large and small trips anywhere in the world you may want to go. I have over 15 years experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care, former owner of Affordable Assisted Living & Services, 5+ years as a home health nurse, 3+ years as a home care infusion nurse and 3 years as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. I've always felt that the healthcare system can be an intimidating world for those who are not healthcare professionals. I've experienced this professionally and then personally when my mother became ill and was battling MS, Parkinson's, Cancer, Asthma and Dementia.
