Download my FREE eBook "How to Celebrate Your Natural Beauty as a Hijab-Wearing Woman." here: Assalamu Alaikum, beautiful souls! Today, I want to delve into a topic that holds immense power in Islam—forgiveness. As Muslims, we are taught that forgiveness is not just a virtue but also an essential component of our faith. It has the potential to transform our lives and relationships for the better. We live in a world where mistakes and conflicts are inevitable. We all make choices that we regret, hurt others, or fall victim to the actions of others. But the true strength lies in our ability to forgive and seek forgiveness. Forgiving others can be challenging, but it liberates us from the burden of resentment and grudges. Islam teaches us that forgiving someone is an act of righteousness and a means of seeking closeness to Allah (SWT). By forgiving, we emulate the mercy and compassion that Allah (SWT) extends to us every day. When we forgive others, we pave the way for healing and reconciliation. It doesn't mean we forget or condone the actions, but rather, we choose to rise above the negativity and embrace positivity. Forgiveness allows us to preserve our relationships, restore harmony, and move forward with renewed love and understanding. Now, let's explore some practical steps on how to forgive yourself and others in the light of Islam. These steps are inspired by the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the wisdom of the Quran. Let's connect on Social! Instagram: Facebook: TikTok: YouTube:

As we all know, Ramadan is a month of spiritual growth and self-improvement, and setting goals can help us make the most of this holy month. In the beginning, I discuss the importance of spiritual growth during Ramadan and introduce the concept of SMART goals, which stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. To prioritize our goals, I suggest reflecting on our values and priorities, making a list of goals, ranking them in order of importance, and focusing on the top three or four goals. I also advise breaking down our goals into smaller, more manageable tasks to make them less overwhelming and easier to achieve. It's a lot easier to buy the misconceptions than to dispel them. I am not talking about the misconceptions that non-Muslims have about hijab. One simple decision, might change the entire trajectory of your hijab journey. Let’s dive right in! Let's connect on Social! Instagram: Facebook: TikTok: Youtube:

In this episode, I want to share my experience of fasting during my very first Ramadan back in 2013 when I was a brand new Muslim. My first Ramadan was challenging for me, but overcame the challenges and learnt from my mistake and I hope my story will help new muslim reverts or people who want to convert to Islam as the fast for the first time this Ramadan. Ramadan is a month of fasting and self-reflection. It is a time for Muslims to take stock of their lives and reflect on their actions. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, which can last as long as 29 or 30 days based on the sighting of the moon. The Islamic calendar follows a lunar cycle, so Ramadan moves back approximately 10 days every year. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It's also called “The Month of Fasting” because it requires Muslims to abstain from food, drink, smoking, sex, and other worldly pleasures during daylight hours. Some people fast for up to 20 hours each day during Ramadan! Fasting can be beneficial for your health as it helps you lose weight, improves your immune system, lowers blood pressure, and increases brain function and promotes self-discipline. Fasting is a time when we are normally more mindful and introspective about our lives. It gives us an opportunity to reflect on our priorities, values, and goals in life. Tune in to hear my story of when I was still a very new beginner muslim and how I fasted during Ramadan in 2013.
