What a treat to have 2nd generation winemaker/owner/director of the fantastic Frankland Estate on the show. Richo is delighted to chat to Hunter about the history of the estate, the region in general and some of the wines too. Most fascinating is the discussion about conversion to organic and biodynamic farming. If you don't know the wines you should definitely become acquainted - the quality and provenance is awesome.....
Tom casually joined Richo on the beach one Sunday morning and had an awesome chinwag. Grenache was first cab off the rank as was Tom's long international career in the industry. The interview concludes with a deep-dive into all things S.C. Pannell and an honest chat about some of the vineyards and wines. Very cool.
Brad is a cracking bloke working for a cracking distillery. He's an ex footy player from Adelaide who trode the well laid path via London and landed a great gig in a great family business. The seed for this interview was planted all the way back in 2010 on the Channel 10 TV show The Panel in which Steve interviewed James Podsiadly as a mature AFL recruit for Geelong who had married into the Middleton family of Mount Mary fame in the Yarra Valley. Steve has great taste when it comes to drinking wine and spirits and is pretty good in the kitchen too (when time permits). For a bloke who loves and understands Italian wine, he's long overdue for a trip 'Al Bel Paese' which will be remedied early in 2023.
Andrew chats about all things Hentley Farm with Richo, Jill and the listeners. He has the distinction of producing just the 2nd Grenache to win the Jimmy Watson Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show. Dan tells us about Pedro the soil whisperer mapping the geology, the polygon wines made in large tulip shaped concrete eggs to keep outside factors such as oak away from the wine and the CD experience.

Angela Brown and her sister Eliza and brother Nick run Brown Family Wines which owns All Saints Estate, St Leonards Estate, Mt Ophir Estate and a wine bar in Rutherglen. Forging a path started by their father Peter Brown who sadly passed away in 2005, the kids have done amazing things with the business. The All Saints castle was built in 1864 by two scotsmen and its really worth a visit for tastings and the restaurant.
