Church of the Geek explores the intersection of the comic and the divine. Every other Friday, Brian and Sam discuss a comic book arc or graphic novel in depth, looking at the book as art and examining the theological themes that they see. Every Tuesday, Church of the Geek offers a review of a recent comic issue in their "Off The Shelf" episodes.
Brian and Sam enter the Dreaming to discuss the first five episodes of the Netflix show Sandman, based on the comic written by Neil Gaiman. Setting the tale in a dream world gives Gaiman a great deal of freedom in writing.

During the Triduum, the Great Three Days, Brian participated in The Triduum Project live stream. A fifty-four hour, online vigil of sorts. CotG already posted our regular episode that we did there. Here now is the third part of the role-playing game, aptly named, Triduum, which follows four angels on a mission for God. These angels, the self-named A-Team, having traveled to Earth and Limbo, encountering demons who want to thwart them, continue on their way to deposit in hell the soul of great importance. They now find themselves in Hell unsure of what awaits them.
