In Matthew 4:1-11, we see a powerful moment in Jesus' life that offers us deep spiritual insight today. Jesus, filled with the Spirit, enters the wilderness where The devil tempts him. It’s a reminder that even when walking closely with God, we are not exempt from trials. Sometimes our spiritual journey leads us into places of testing.

Scripture:"Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.'" (Matthew 9:37-38, KJV)In these verses, Jesus looks out at the multitudes of people who are weary, scattered, and in need of direction. He likens them to a field ripe for harvest, full of potential, ready to be gathered in. However, there is a problem: while the harvest is abundant, the workers are few.

Life is a constant battle between right and wrong or between the flesh and the spirit. I have often found myself trying to do right but end up doing wrong, to which I repent quickly.

It reminds me of when Paul said in Romans 7:15-20, “I don’t understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.

And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.”

It, therefore, illustrates the importance of daily feeding our spirit with the word of God so we will be able to conquer our fleshly desires.

We live in a world than often use self- promotion over humility.

However, humility is a catalyst for personal growth and development.

Some see humility as a weaknesses. However, one thing I have learn is when you have humility you are walking in wisdom

You see humility brings you peace,

Gives you freedom and self love,

It helps you to have genuine love for others.

And It builds trust and inspires loyalty.

It also helps you to set aside your ego-driven agendas and truly listen to the perspectives, experiences, and emotions of others.

It is important to cultivate and walk in humility because it can foster positive change in our lives and in the world around us.

Our scripture text is taken from: 2 Kings 5:1-16

The story of Naaman, who was a leper. We look at how he was able to be healed because of his humility.

If you have a dream to achieve you must have determination and perseverance because life will throw you some obstacles that would make you want to give up.

I know sometimes people see perseverance and determination as simular.

So I will explain the difference between determination and persevarance

Perseverance is the ability to persist in your efforts despite obstacles and setbacks. It help you to consistently work towards your goal even when it feels like everything is working against you. It’s where you refuse to give up, and in.

Determination, on the other hand, is the firmness of purpose that drives you toward your goal. It create the mindset that you must achieve what you want to.

Together, perseverance and determination form a powerful combination that can help you achieve your goals and dreams

Today Our text is taken from 2 Kings 2
Elijah and Elisha
Elisha knew that Elijah had something he wanted and he was not going to miss out on it. Because he remained committed and focused on his purpose he got a double portion of Elijah’s annoying .

This story of Elisha serve well to show us if we want all that God has for us

  • we must keep on eyes on the spiritual things and not the natural.

  • We must walk with Holy Spirit because it he that give us our anointing grace.

  • We must not let anyone prohibit us from what God has called us to do.

  • We must not listen to people who are speaking words that goes against our destiny

Or those who are trying to discourage us from our purpose.

Even Though they might be well intentioned.

  • Once you have determination and perseverance ..you will be successful in what we are called to do

They often feel that they have done their best to train their children the right way, yet the children have chosen to go on a wayward path. Today, we will explore how this father dealt with a similar situation and his reactions toward his son.

When a child decides to leave home and abandon their faith, it is a very difficult time for the parents. They often feel that they have done their best to train their children the right way, yet the children have chosen to go on a wayward path. Today, we will explore how this father dealt with a similar situation and his reactions toward his son.

Here are some action steps I want you to take:

Show love and compassion to your children when they make mistakes, and do not constantly remind them of the wrongs they have done. Just as God has forgiven you for the mistakes you have made and does not remind you of them, He wants you to assist your children in getting back on the right path.

I leave you with this verse:

Proverbs 22:6 - "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Be blessed...

Our text for today is taken from Luke 15:4-5

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

In life, we pursue what we value. For some, it may be a job, money, or a home, while for others, it may be their family. Whatever we value, we make an effort to ensure that everything goes well with it.

Reflection:

The shepherd left the 99 and went after the one lost sheep. He searched until he found it and rejoiced with his family and friends. He said that in heaven there is even more joy over one sinner who repents.

Today, many of us would have forgotten about that one and focused on the 99. However, this shepherd shows love and compassion for that one lost sheep. He views each one with great value and rejoices with his family and friends because he has found what was lost. This demonstrates how heaven rejoices when a sinner comes to repentance.

Our desire must be to see souls saved for the kingdom of God.

Application:

God wants us to be good managers of everything He has given us. So, if there is someone in your life who is lost, go search for them and bring them home. Don't give up on them, leaving them to the elements of this world.

Before you go, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide and show you how to approach the situation. He will instruct you on what to do.

God doesn't want you to give up on anyone but to value every life.

Here are some action steps I want you to take: Today, write down those individuals in your life whom you have given up on and pray for them until you see God redeem them.

We often hear the phrase is anything too hard for God, but do we fully understand this statement.

It’s saying to us that it’s nothing that God cannot do. With this knowledge why then do we worry, why do we doubt, why do we fear.

Just imagine, if as believers we fully comprehend this,

Oh, what a difference it would make in the way we live our lives.

We would believe that the impossible can be made possible and remove all the limits that the world place on us as well as the ones we place on ourselves.

This is where our faith comes in. As long as God has said something to us we should believe God in his word and act accordingly.

For Faith without works is dead.

Today we will be looking at how God made an impossible situation possible.

For he is a miracle-working God. Scripture: Genesis 18:10-24You can get our:
