Since being guided back to finding a church to call home, after thinking I didn’t need church, or God in my life, I spent most of my adult life doing it on my own and failing miserably. 2 dissolved marriages and a general unhappiness in my job and personal life left me searching for answers. Fast forward to being guided here, I want to strengthen my knowledge in the bible and deepen my understanding. I decided a way for me to do that is through a daily commitment to reading consistently and asking God to show me what I can learn from it, then turn that into a prayer. www.unwindandalign.ca
So if we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. Since what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal
This life is a vapour that quickly vanishes, but your labour in the Lord will bear fruit that lasts forever 🍎
It’s not a matter of whether the food is clean or unclean, it’s more about loving others more than loving the liberty to eat whatever we want
What a beautiful and peaceful life we get to experience, what great hope to look to, when we sustain each other in the love of God 🙏🏼
Everything that is right will continue to emerge and radiate out from the life of a person who experiences new birth 🤩
Those who believe in the gospel will receive his strength and heavenly riches while those who choose to reject - their minds will become dark
God knows our heart. When we’re true to ourselves we are true to Him and we will never get it wrong 🙏🏼🤩
In surrendering our lives fully to Jesus, there are 3 elements that are key: prayer, giving, and fasting 🔑
When praise and worship are raised wholeheartedly within us God shows up in all his glory abundance and love ❤️
When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made righteous and we live in truth as our response to the love of God 🎁
Only Jesus knows the most effective and appropriate path for us to complete restoration. We need only to surrender to it
What the enemy is capable of it’s only temporary and will pass away, but God‘s Word and His Promise is eternal
When we are trustworthy in the little things, we will be entrusted with bigger things 🙂
Our prayers shouldn’t be granted according to our wishes and whims, but instead for His will and purpose for our greatest good 🙏🏼💕
When we surrender to God‘s love and care, there will be no more worry and disappointment ❤️
When we receive Jesus as our own personal Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit makes a home in our heart ❤️
Jesus gave true advice to his disciples; watch and pray so you will not fall into temptation
Our faith doesn’t grow in safe sufficient conditions but during strong, threatening and hard challenges.
The Bible says Jesus didn’t need to be well known to serve. When pure intention is the motivating factor… the outcome is irrelevant
The enemy is acutely aware when we are vulnerable to temptation. It’s our responsibility to minimize and/or limit these opportunities
Jesus came to live among us, in doing so, He resolved to cleanse us of our shortcomings wholly and completely ♥️
God IS the God of justice absolutely… But with his own twist of mercy and consistency. I love that ♥️
Try as I might, there’s no way around God‘s plan of redemption or his promises. And I thank him for not letting me try to do it on my own
God has a plan and purpose for each of us. But there are aspects of his plan that are dependent on us and our actions
Wearisome times will come, but God is waiting to provide us with words to spur us on 🙏🏼
Give your heart to God so he can show you the magnificent unfolding of the story that is your life 💕
By living according to His word our souls will be satisfied and our character will always be renewed
God will always make harvest happen because he is the source of abundance. He will intervene and fulfil our needs if we are willing to remember him by building his temple
His is the sovereign name that saves every person who asks - sets us free from bondage – restores & heals us 🙏🏼
Sometimes God gives us time to anticipate his vision or promise. What we do with this time matters!
God is our defender. He is a just God who is never late and always on time with his help
A warning isn’t punishment or judgment, but a word used to save or prevent someone from dangerous consequences that could harm them either immediately or in the future
If this is truly a two-way friendship with God, am I taking time to learn about God‘s feelings in our exchange?
Those who forget their own need for mercy are the quickest to withhold it from others. Those who forget their experience of God‘s forgiveness are the quickest to refuse it to others. 😔
Today’s musing... I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have experienced mercy and grace through Jesus. Should I then not want others to have this experience as well?? Absofreakinlutely!!
God‘s love for us is all-inclusive, even the ugly messiness we try to keep to ourselves 🤯
Pride in this context is when we put our own ideas above the truths of God and His desire for us. The ultimate test in humility
The evidence of God’s existence is undeniable and deserves a drop-to-our-knees recognition through humility 🙏🏼🤩
What we do through prayer and fasting for the harvest of souls will someday bear fruit 🍉
When and where am I asked to turn to God as a representative of my nation? Sometimes it helps to take the focus off myself and place it elsewhere so as not to disrupt the flow of blessings Jesus has to bestow 🙏🏼💖
I challenge you to take a look around you today where do YOU see God‘s greatness? Take a moment to thank Him 🙏🏼
God gives us free will to choose for ourselves, and with that comes the responsibility of accepting the consequences
It’s on each one of us to let go of the past, and lean into what God has in store 🙈 Scary....of course. But worth it?...... 200%!!!
It’s through my willingness and desire for intimacy with God in prayer, worship and meditation on His Word that will take me to greater depths of knowing. Amen
God will always forgive us and lift us to our feet again so we can stand firm and carry on our walk with Him. He is a faithful God that will never leave us. Ever.
God sees us in our sorrow and acts on our behalf even when it may seem like He’s silent 🙏🏼
Jesus was a leader that had a servants heart. He came into the world not to be served, but to serve 🙏🏼
Along with daily repentance comes our willingness for Holy Spirit to observe and examine our heart openly and freely without reservation
When my faithfulness is lacking, it shows up as doubt in his ability to move in my life 🤔
It’s not about how long we’ve been a Christian or wearing crosses. It’s about the condition of our heart ♥️
When I bring my stuff to God, He slowly shows me a new way of looking at it with new enhanced perspective 💡
God used Ezekiel to warn the Israelites before harm came to them, just like he uses us to sometimes be His voice to help someone else
God teaches us faithfulness by way of exercising the true art of fulfilling his own promises to us 💕
A Christian status means nothing to me without the relationship I’m meant to have with my Creator 💕
Dear God I pray for courage today to step up and be someone’s answer to prayer, through you 🙏🏼
Obedience is not done with my own strength, but the Holy Spirit that is in me who gives me the ability to be obedient 🙏🏼
Do not put your hope in the world but put your hope in God as He always fulfils His promises 🤩
Holding onto faith and letting go of our own ego alleviates disappointment. But even more importantly removes the weight from our shoulders to produce the outcome 🙏🏼
I am but a mound of clay on the potters wheel. I am to keep moldable and shapeable, so the artist can create his magic in me and through me
A father must have a big share in providing a godly way of life along with aligning values in the family
I want to respond to my God-given salvation by living my life in alignment with all that is meant for me 🥰
Nothing is impossible for God who gives us healing and abundant and miraculous recovery in this lifetime as well as the next
Both our lives and our bodies belong to our Maker, so we have no right to be destructive to any part of ourselves 🥰
The protection of the worldly king is limited and isolated to our time on earth, but the protection of our sovereign God is infinite
He won’t remove anxiety for me, but he will carry me through anything when I surrender to calmness and trusting him to lead the way
We can lose our wealth and even our sanity, but never the peace in our heart and in our lives. He is our peace 🙏🏼
Placing our trust in what is temporary will disappoint us in the end, because what’s temporary is not eternal
When I place my expectations on God to fulfill a promise versus others..... disappointment disappears
Life is too valuable to waste time thinking about problems. When we give them to God, we can rest… Knowing it’s already handled 🙏🏼
Our words either bring life or they bring death. What will you choose to talk about today? 🗣
Solomon delivers a solid reminder that God intended for us to be blessed. But blessings don’t always equate to material things 💰
Temptation is not a sin, but following through with it is. And there will be consequences!
We all consist of body mind and spirit, we need to honour and nurture every aspect of our being! Namaste 🙏🏼
Living in the fear of the Lord is a boundary of protection. He is our guarantee. However, if we make the world around us our guarantee… We will be disappointed
Godliness is not only about the good deeds we do, it’s about loving God more than anything else!!
God saves us when we are going through many tests and sufferings, God’s hands will always help us. 🙏🏼
The most valuable heritage for our descendants is the legacy of spiritual relationship with God ✌🏼👌🏼🥰
Darkness of the world around us can permeate are human heart, but God’s word and his promises shine bright! ☀️
Blessed are all those who fear the Lord. When we fear him we will receive wisdom, spiritual prosperity and riches, Blessed offspring and safety 🙏🏼💚
Regretting what has happened in the past not only doesn’t change things, it isn’t helpful 😞
A trained faith is not produced in a smooth life. Faith is born in the process of training. 👌🏼💕
Blessings are not always in physical form or material things… We are blessed with peace joy and love! ♥️
When challenge strikes, do you battle alone? Or do you have your own personal army fighting FOR and WITH you 💪🏼
One day I was encouraged to find my own path versus what I was taught as a child. Wow. How could I have been so off track!?
We are not called excellent Christians when we are blessed abundantly, but when we have the strength to go through the storms of life 💪🏼
When God is the one who leads the way, we are safe. We are protected. We are provided for and we are loved. ❤️
Jesus says he’s a good shepherd, and a good shepherd listens and knows his sheep, and the sheep recognize the voice of their shepherd.
Walk in His anointing and in His power, so that you can experience His blessings and be continuously used as a channel of His love for everyone 😍
Heart struggles can sometimes become one of the ways used by God to reveal his goodness to us 😞
God never fails in processing a beautiful plan in us. Our duty is to remain faithful and continue to depend on Him, who WILL give us victory! 🏆
I need to stop using my weaknesses as a limitation and start trusting God more to give me strength when and where I need it 🙏🏼
Job said: The one who keeps his life ‘right’, walks in the ‘right’ path and keeps his heart ‘clean’, will become stronger 💪🏼
We on our own are limited. But when we are connected with our Creator who is ultimately unlimited, we too can do extraordinary things ‼️💫
God knows us better than anyone and knows how to mature our minds most effectively for our own good and purpose 🙌🏼
The sacrifice of Thanksgiving before God is when we are NOT in good condition, we STILL glorify God with all our heart 💜
In God’s timing, he reaches for us. He paves a way for us when we can’t even see a path. He’s never too late!
Remembering our identity in Christ is vital, we are his children and ambassadors of his kingdom 🏰
Living our lives obedient to God will help us to navigate through difficult situations, when we are tempted and don’t know how to respond.
We will prevail over negative thoughts if we use the sword of the spirit - The word of God - and always live in communion with Him
When our life is based on the truth - - His Truth - our thoughts and feelings will be filled with peace and a life of fulfilment 💕
Yo-Yo faith is based on feelings, giving everyone and everything around us control over what we feel. 🪀 That’s not God’s way
When something occurs in our lives it doesn’t mean God doesn’t have the ability to change it
Peace, joy, strength, courage and success are ALL accessible 24/7 through prayer 🙏🏼 just ask 💕
Happiness is satisfaction and contentment of the heart. And it’s a decision we must make daily!
When we do good deeds it’s not to show others who we are, it’s to honour God‘s purpose for us and create unity
Our spiritual relationship with God and our experience becomes our story, which is meant to encourage and empower others
Often times we get used to God‘s presence to the point of underestimating his vastness 🤯
Every time you read the Bible, try to notice and find God’s promises. They are for you 👈🏼
The longing of God’s heart is to see that His goodness and mercy would always happen in the lives of His children.
The Bible says that our life struggles will become our tools to bring us closer to God when we attach ourselves to him for support
God‘s love for us gives us strength and a firm guarantee that He works every matter to bring goodness to those who love Him 💝
Learning how to change my prayer from begging, to just asking what can I do to move closer to God’s purpose for me in that situation 🙏🏼
The Bible isn’t a book about heroes. It’s about flawed people who God used to do amazing things! 🌺
Not everything bad that happens is discipline, but when we are headed in the wrong direction, God will do what’s needed to catch our attention!
Learn to lean into God so that when you stumble (as we always will) it doesn’t have to be a full-on face plant 🤦🏽♀️ 🙄😉
God has a beautiful plan for our lives. Allow him to do it in His way, and in His time 😘
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; it’s effect will be quietness and confidence. Forever.
We serve a limitless God who resides in each and everyone of us, all we need to do is acknowledge and invite His Devine presence to shine in us and through us
It’s well within God’s capacity to lift up or demote someone as he sees fit for our own greatest good! It’s Devine intervention ✨
God is our Inner Knowing, our Internal Compass, our Creator. And He WILL give us answers to our questions. It’s our job to listen 👂
I pray for awareness and direction to bring me back to where I want to be, heart-centred with God ☺️
Parents are God’s representative to their children and have a calling to love them well

God’s presence is bigger than anyone or anything could ever be... and when He starts to move and make magic.... get ready to dance 💃🏽 🙏🏼💕🥳
What do you do while you’re in a waiting room, do you just sit there or do you find things that need to be done to fill in the gaps and help pass the time? 🤔
We will never know what God ‘might have done’ in our lives if we let our flesh and fear keep us from putting feet to our faith! 👣
Sexual purity is designed by God to protect us from brokenness of body, mind and soul 🙏🏼
When we choose to honour Him, He will make a way, even when it seems like there is no way 🙏🏼✨
It’s our job to put feet-to-faith and trust that our Provider will never leave us empty-handed! 🙏🏼💕
Lean into your Protector, He wants nothing more than to be your refuge. Faith is the answer to hope and healing 💝
Small steps of obedience and selflessness today will make an eternal difference tomorrow 🙏🏼
Lord help us to be mindful of opportunities to be kind to the people in our circle of influence today 🙏🏼💕
Today let’s think about how our decisions are affecting our family. What’s the legacy you are leaving behind? 🤔
There will always be consequences to our actions, good OR bad. We reap what we sow.... it’s God’s Devine will for us 👌🏼
When Gideon and the Israelite army moved with God, He gave them strategies to defeat all their enemies! 💥
The best way to pass along our inheritance from God is to live in truth and love through Him 💕
The biggest and most important decision we can make in our lifetime is whether we choose to follow Jesus or deny him 😍
Not a word from God fails. All of God’s word is true and all of his promises shall come to pass 🙏🏼💕
The deeper we fall in love with Christ, the better we will become at avoiding things that hurt God’s heart ♥️
Today’s challenge: who (or what) am I worshipping and giving my focus? Where am I really placing my attention? And is this where I want it to be?? 🤔
When we carry Christ in our heart, we are yoked with Him, providing everything we need ❤️
Jesus has removed all blemishes, giving us the freedom to experience life as God intended, in abundance! 💓
Always remember after great difficulty there will be great victory, God says be strong and courageous 💪🏼👌🏼
Despite the evil they had done and all the evil that they would do God would not abandon them 🙏🏼🥰
I love how comfortable it’s becoming to engage with God through prayer in my struggles AND my joy 🙏🏼💕
Jesus died for us so that we could live a live of true freedom, never again to be enslaved or indebted through Him 🙏🏼
Diligently do everything I command you, the way I command you. Don’t add to it, don’t subtract from it - Deuteronomy chapter 12 verse 32 So good 🙏🏼💕👌🏼
Deuteronomy 11:18 says: remembering God‘s salvation, God‘s judgment, and God‘s commands should cut stubbornness out of the heart.
I’m learning that through the laws and commandments of these readings, lies the heart of God. We are able to see Him and know him in ways that are only possible through the desire to seek Him

I’ve heard it said that personal boundaries are much like property boundaries, it’s the line that shows where I end and another begins. When healthy boundaries are done right, everyone wins 💞
Believe that Jesus has already earned what you couldn’t earn yourself. And He freely gives it to you
The offering requirements list was long, but He takes it ALL on for us. All we need to do is ask.... and receive 🙏🏼💞
The fear of God, in true Old Testament style! Makes my entire body pull back and tighten. Breathe. Pray. Keep going
More tough stuff to read and wrap my head around.... but once again, perfect for my readiness to grasp and understand 🙏🏼👌🏼❤️
The Day of Atonement is no longer a ritual that needs to be performed regularly, its already been done FOR us 🙏🏼❤️
The depths of His love for us can never be measured, but isn’t it beautiful how His presence can be felt with that very same depth 💕🎁
It’s interesting to me that from most of the sacrifices that come from the book of Leviticus, all but one end with a shared meal. And through the food of the sacrifices the goal is to create a secret holiness to those that consume
The ‘guilt offering’ and reparation, both private and public. Only Jesus can fully remove it all

Jesus works through the Holy Spirit to create miraculous change deep within our hearts when we invite and allow him there
Being filled with the holy spirit is a miraculous transformation that begins by changing our heart from the inside
The incense, the anointing oil... let them permeate our being and flow through us as we go about our daily lives
God wants a society where people are treated fairly, where justice is upheld, and where the marginalized are provided for
Jesus’s death and resurrection is more proof of God’s power and uniqueness than all the plagues combined
God does not want false recognition. He wants to choose with our own willingness and desire
God works through suffering and hopelessness, in fact, these obstacles only magnify His work!
We all experience challenges, the real challenge is not to stay in it. Ask God for help and have faith that He WILL deliver 🙏🏼👌
Every encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ will bring new hope. We must always have hope 💗
Putting trust in God is not just lip service, it takes faith and perseverance to wait on His timing!
When God’s heart is pleased with our obedience, he will surely bring us peace. I love this ❤️
Jacob tries to soften Esau with gifts, did you get the same message from this that I did?
It’s interesting to me how He is showing me lessons around rebuking. A word I had some aversion to up until recently. God works in mysterious and miraculous ways! 💕
Jacob’s children multiply. Jacob’s flocks increase. And my understanding continues to expand in the most unexpected ways through God 🙏🏼
Following through is the only way to receive the benefit of the promise and the satisfaction of commitment
I am in awe yet again as He reveals to me exactly what I need, with precision timing. It’s like he knew 😉🥰☺️
Blessings from God are our birthright and given freely, not just to one that is entitled. **update; A friend contacted me after listening to this episode and reminded me of Genesis chapter 25 when Rebekah was pregnant. Even before the twins were born they struggled in the womb. God told Rebekah, your sons will become two nations and will be rivals. He said, your older son will serve your younger son. God told Rebekah that Esau would serve Jacob.
Isaac, as to tradition, had by birthright promised everything to Esau. Rebekah was making sure, by deceitful means, the assurance of God's plan. Thank you for the timely reminder Jan! 🤗💕🙏🏼
Chapter 26, not 6. Oops! I can’t believe how this feels so relevant to what we are experiencing today in this covid19 pandemic. God help us all 🙏🏼
Just simply reading this chapter left me feeling baffled. Like, what did I just read and how messed up is that!? I definitely needed some guidance to maneuver this one, thank God for the Bible app assistance 😉

A lot of names in this chapter of Noah’s family tree, just a small snippet of the list of people that came before us. Setting the stage for the life we have today
Hopefully by now your are pre-reading the chapter and you are pondering what stands out to you in this chapter. God speaks to us all in different ways, it’s up to us to be quiet enough to listen
The Bibles history shows the list of descendants is long, for hundreds and hundreds of years God has created each of His children very unique and with their own purpose. It is up to us to carry it out. What a crazy amazing journey!
