A child of the golden age of 80s hip-hop, DJ hobbbz found his passion early. He bought his first set of turntables in high school and swiftly began amassing a unique collection of records from every musical style. These became the essence of his unique approach: an uncanny sense for combining the unexpected to create music that audiences don’t even know they like—until they hear it! Hip hop, pop, 80s music, dance, trap are all in his toolkit.

As his audience size increased, DJ hobbbz refined his skills to a razor edge. He soon became the king of the weekend jump-off with regular nights at Atomic Cowboy and Envy Ultra Lounge in St. Louis, MO and also played local festivals SLUMfest and Pridefest. DJ hobbbz regularly releases mixtapes and mashups showcasing his wide musical tastes and his ability to delight and win over crowds.
