On this Holy Night we gather with Jesus and his friends in the Upper Room to share a meal and experience the washing of feet. We provide a brief worship video with Scripture, song, and sermon, as well as a printed guide for footwashing and remembering Jesus’ last supper.

On Ash Wednesday, we begin Lent, the 46-day journey to Easter. The beginning of Lent brings a new invitation—an invitation into a deeper life of faith, an invitation to renewed spirituality, and an invitation into deeper awareness of God and self. It is a time to give up things as well as take on new life-giving practices, helping us rid ourselves of distractions and desires that pull us away from God.
This year’s Ash Wednesday service is formulated for at-home participation at a time that works best for you. You can use the liturgy on your own or be guided by our video, featuring pastors and leaders in their own homes.

November Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is November 15-22, 2020 sponsored by the National Coalition for the Homeless. During November, FUMC is working to raise awareness about the pressing problem of hunger and homelessness with educational and service opportunities. All Saints, the first Sunday in November, is a day the United Methodist Church celebrates the communion of saints as we remember persons in the congregation who have died within the last year. During our video worship service, all are invited to have a candle nearby to light in remembrance of a saint in your life.
