Dean and Erik discuss the riff fest that is Led Zeppelin II, and whether or not Zeppelin is one of the "fathers" of Heavy Metal music, and also talk about the new heirs to the Zeppelin throne.
Released in 1969, this album is considered a classic among classics. Dean and Erik go track-by-track and share their thoughts about the non-stop licks that abound courtesy of guitarist Jimmy Page and the screaming vocals of Robert Plant. The influence of Lord of the Rings makes it way onto the album, and Dean digs out another Tolkien song out of his trivia bag as a companion piece.
