I was making it all wrong. Me all wrong. Holding myself as a failure without even consciously realizing. Sitting in the background of my life, with glimmers and glimpses of sharing. Looking at myself as if somehow I’ve got it all wrong. This story that I’ve been rewriting. And it showed up as tiny whispers. It showed up as a big fat belief that I have to figure life out. That if I am unconsciously and innately doing it wrong, then I need to unwind these wires and figure it out. A big hole to climb out of.And then the eclipse happened. And yes, tons of energetic release. And yes, lots of tears. And talking. And yes, an incredible session with a healer. And softening. And pouring love onto it. And suddenly, it’s like the hole vanished. And somehow I am standing on a mountain, with lush green all around. A stream that bends by the mighty oak tree. Me, in all white. My little ones around. A pace of peace and bounty. So much serendipity and connection.Somehow my voice has been freed. The little bird in me can sing. And share. It's April 12th. I am laying on the floor on top of two yoga mats. Tons of pillow. Our duvet. Fuzzy blankets. Candles. A warm cup of Radiance tea. The perfect beats playing in my ear. The series travels to these different sites and I said outloud when we were watching “Wow, you can’t erase truth.” So, there it is!

Coffee walking and talking about success. This week, things have been HAPPENING for me. I have two corporate wellness sessions that I am leading. I am a guest speaker for a women’s group. I just booked a trip to a dream destination with one of my best friends, and we leave in 9 days (!!!!). I ordered and received the microphone kit of my dreams for the next level of my speaking gigs and workshop series.Can you see…It’ all happening!And, as all of these miraculous things have been landing, I am seeing these parts of myself that don’t feel comfortable in success. And that is okay!!! And that is perfect!!Sharing this as I see it as a theme amongst many humans I’ve been talking to lately and wanting to normalize this process.What can we do? Connect with these parts of ourselves. Use self-inquiry. It's likely that they are scared or trying to protect you. Its like showing up in a totally new world and not knowing your place. it’s heartbreaking, really. to sit in the window of the train as the world speeds by. and realize the impermanence of it all. of every moment. every bite. every smile. every trip. every adventure. every sip of water. every moment coded with its own specific whisper of meaning. all placed for the listening. it’s heartbreaking, really. when you realize how simple it all is. how easy it can all be when we stop trying to figure it out. how the dots connect. how the heart makes sense again. how it all is more beautiful than what we dreamt up. as we live the moments we’ve only lived up in our minds. and weeks or months later, you are witnessing it all come to fruition. zoom out for a moment, to realize the omen of it all. it’s heartbreakingly beautiful, really. the weaving that we allow. the goodbyes that rename themselves as hellos. each moment a gateway to the divine. each moment a portal into something richer than what our fingertips could describe to our lips. the world spins by. and we move with it.
This weeks spoken word flow birthed through me on a run in Discovery Park last week. The words poured out and here they land, in the gift of your ears. Thank you for listening. I invite you to presently receive the activation that these words bring.

i wonder how these wandering feet
landed me here
as the woman that i am
on the land that i stand
sometimes i wonder
how i got through those heart break and doubts and disbeliefs
the sneaky feeling of not enoughness leaking into every corner of my life
those moments of losing all faith
in something greater
sometimes i wonder how i got through those moments
where i saw no whispering hope
when the walls caved in
and robbed every lick of potential possibility in my life
and i still put on a face that held it all together
but press your hands into my heart in these moments
and you would have felt
the emptiness
and the need to be held in my crumbling
i wonder how i traversed around the world
pioneering down alleys and unmarked roads
meeting new parts of myself
as this world gifted me her full
permission
and in my wondering
i am moved by grace
at the grace
that has moved me into the pull that is my life.
I got lit up + engulfed into flames last night. And then turned into a watery mush today. Something huge is happening inside. A massive click in understanding my soul mission around this concept of 'rules' and 'guidelines' of how and when to speak.
I believe in the way of The New Earth. And in order for us to get anywhere as a collective, we must trust what the energy says, not what the person is saying.We must let go of the 'guidelines' and trust the guiding force of the energy that we are presented with.And we must be brave enough to speak it. To say it. To pose the question. To share our reflection. To say that thing that we are all dancing around. The human story is waiting on us for its evolution. Waiting on us to understand that love isn't about saying the 'nice' thing -- love is about speaking to the honest energy running the show.
These days aren’t about fighting against. These days around about rebelling against. They are about going on the most noble journey one can go on - inward. The pilgrimage into your own soul. Your own human. And trusting enough to let it all burn away - the house, the relationship, the friends, the dreams. Trusting enough to let it all fade, until the diamond, the treasure of you comes alive.
You will know it, because you will feel it. And you won’t be able to contain it. But contain it you must. Hold it, you must. Like the ancient wise tree that you are -- your roots are deeper and wiser and richer than you know.
So please, hear this beg. Hear this plea. As a plea not from me to you, but from the soul in me to the soul in you.

Nina (Donna Cassedy) is my 89 year old grandmother who lives in Tallahasee Florida! We are 60 years apart and have always had a special bond.
