Exciting and mysterious, The Rookery is a collection of the adventures of Norton Rook. Norton has the distinction of being the most curious boy that most people have ever met. Unfortunately, this means he drives most adults just crazy. This makes his already hard life as an orphan on a planet far from Earth even more difficult. Norton is used to unpleasantness, but he is not prepared for the dangers that confront him when his life is turned upside down by the questions of- Who is he? Who was his mother? And who is out to get him? Join Norton on the first of his adventures- “Ghost-Ship: Norton Rook and the Curse of the Infinity Gate”. Narrated by Kit Calico.
In the last episode Norton started his first day at his new school. Between being terribly behind in classes and almost getting into a fight with a bully it didn’t exactly go well. In today’s episode Norton finishes his day and decides to explore his new city after class- which leads to an uncomfortable encounter with a strange man who claims to know some unsettling things about Norton.
In our last episode Norton met a new friend at his new school. He also found that everyone else knows more about his mother than he does, and that they all want to know more. Join Norton as he discovers what the first day at his new school has in store for him.
After being pulled out of the life he had always know as an orphan in a small mining town, Norton had made a journey through space to the other side of the world where he learned that the family he had never known was one of the oldest on the planet. Exhausted after his trip and the tour of the ancient mansion that was to be his new home Norton had fallen right asleep, not sure what was in store for him next.
When we last saw Norton he had had reached the end of his journey and met an unusual robot named MANIAC who had deposited him in front of a mysterious ancient building, where someone was waiting for him.
In the last episode Norton rode a train into space and met a man who seems to know something about Norton’s past and who shares Norton’s over-developed curiosity. When we left Norton, he was on a space station at the end of the train tracks, wondering where he goes from there. Join us on the next step of Norton’s journey as he finds out where he has been going.
In our last episode Norton’s life was turned upside down when the mysterious man who had been pursuing him told Norton that his mother, who he had though had been dead for years, had just died a few days before in a space accident. Stunned as he was by that information, Norton was nearly shocked further in a run in with some electrified creatures native to the planet Kairos. Luckily, he had a ticket for a train that arrived just in time. He did not know where he was going or why, but he didn’t really have a choice about climbing aboard. Join Norton as he travels deeper into the mystery of his past and his future.
In Part 1 of Chapter 3 Norton was pursued by a mysterious man in a menacing helmet. After making his escape he found that he was kicked out of the orphanage he had lived in his entire life. In addition to being turned out onto the street, Norton learned that someone had been hiding him and that he did not even officially exist. After another narrow escape Norton found himself locked in a hop-pod (basically a small floating taxi) that dumped him on the side of the road outside of town. Join us as we find out where the pod has taken Norton and who is waiting for him.
In the last episode Norton had a pretty bad day. Unfortunately, that’s pretty normal for Norton. As an orphan in a small mining town on a planet far from earth Norton’s life is never pleasant. From the grumpy owner of the orphanage who makes him slop for giant alien frog eggs, to bullies in town and at school- Norton is used to dodging danger. But on the way home from school things become really strange- even by Norton’s standards.
In our last episode we briefly met Norton Rook, the sort of boy who can drive adults crazy. When we met him, he was at the end of the strangest day of his life on a train going straight up into the sky. Join us in Chapter 2 where we start to see just what sort of day Norton had and how it went from strange to stranger.
