Troy Mangum is an author (Fatherhood Faceplants), speaker, podcaster (The Kindling Fire) and men’s advocate. Creator of Hocoka Men,- (an initiation experience for young men). He is also a Lumbee Indian tribal member. Troy lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with wife Kathy. He has two sons, two daughters and one son-in-law.

As disciples of Christ we called to live in full surrender to living powerful God of the Bible. However a lot of us struggle in the area of being double minded, seeking out worldly desires while trying to be spiritual at the same time. This double minded nature leaves us empty and confused and draws us away from God. In this episode we discuss scripture from the book of James to help align our lives in total devotion to Christ, to get rid of the old nature that weighs us down. True freedom comes from being focused on the will of God and His purpose for us to be all He created us to be. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. (James 4:8)
Paul Beam is a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000-2004. His family includes three sons, two step-daughters and his wife. Most of Paul’s career has been in management and human relations.
In 2013 Paul decided to make some changes and finish his studies. During his course of study Paul founded ManCamp in 2015 and would later form the True North organization (2016). In 2017 Paul graduated from Concordia University where he obtained his B.A. in Communications, Religious Education, and Psychology. He has since obtained credentials in life coaching, creates and instructs courses for men, hosts the True North Man Podcast, speaks on vision, identity, purpose, and life-change, and is also an ordained minister. Paul’s childhood and life choices have led him down a path where he now feels it is his duty to call men to a higher standard of living lives with purpose and intentionality; Lives of service to others rather than service to self.

For nearly 30 years, Steve Berger’s ministry has been marked by purpose and passion. He is the founding Pastor of Grace Chapel, in Leipers Fork, TN, and is known for his straight-talk in the pulpit. With his wife, Sarah, they self-published “Have Heart: Bridging the Gulf between Heaven and Earth”. This project, the most personal to date, deals with the events surrounding their 19 year old son’s entrance into Heaven. An additional Bethany House book project, “Between Heaven and Earth” was released in March 2014. Whether preaching or writing, in great joy or pain, Steve longs to be a proclaimer of the grace and hope that Jesus came to offer. To be a disciple of Christ requires sacrifice. The cost is great but the reward is even greater. Too many men fail to see the benefits of being a true follower of Jesus because they want to hold on to their old way of living. A man fully devoted is a man fully alive.

After serving for 22 years as a pastor in the local church, pastor Kent stepped out in 2019 to become the Chaplain of the Pittsburgh Steelers through the ministry of AIA.
