Lauren backpacked around the world for over six months. Here are her 5 tips based on her experience travelling:-1. Make friends, as a solo female it’s good to have friends so you can go to dinner with people so don’t have to walk in dark etc, and when you have more people excursions are sometimes cheaper2. Have five important things to check every time you leave your accommodation to move on to somewhere else. If you never leave without those important things you’re less likely to lose them. 3. Buy a SIM card every time you get to a new country, you can get them at the airport it means you can always have maps and you can always contact people when you don’t have Wi-Fi. 4. Download the grab app in south East Asia which is valid in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. It allows you to get cheap taxis or mopeds around. Also saves you walking around in the dark. 5. Go with an open mind don’t plan everything too much, allow room for delayed transport & have flexibility in your plans.Lauren also talks about her many high points and some of her most memorable moments.

My guest Warren developed an interest in depth psychology back in 2017. Since then he expanded his interest into the world of symbols, archetypes, dreams and myth. For this episode Warren wrote this for the show notes:
“It seems to me that myth, story, dreams, imagination etc. are what connect us to our inner world. These ideas seem to contain in them the underlying substructures that govern human behaviour. I was introduced to the Tarot in December 2021 after a friend sent me a tarot deck as a gift. I've discovered that tarot systems are a very handy tool for exploring our inner world and for working with the imagination. My favourite tarot system is the Tarot de Marseille but I'm also comfortable using other systems like the Rider-Waite-Smith. I use tarot cards primarily as a tool for imaginative writing although I also like doing readings for people as a hobby”
In this episode, Warren and I discuss Tarot cards, Realms, Writing, Imagination, Journaling and Instagram. I really enjoyed this deep conversation and we hope you do to.
Please note these are our own opinions on how we are using the tarot cards
