Cody Grodzki is a New England native that jumped ship down to Chattanooga, honestly cant blame him! Cody is the director of route setting at Highpoint Climbing and Fitness, and has been involved in the industry for 12+ years. Tune in and listen to his take on setting, and where he think the future of gym climbing will go.
Jim Shimberg is a New England Legend. He has been climbing for over 40 years and been guiding since the 80s. If he is at the crag there is a good chance you know he is around! Jim is a very joyous and animated individual, but he has had a little bit of a rough patch the past couple years. This episode we talk about his battle with depression, something which so many people have struggled with. Jim is making a hell of a comeback and ready to smash some ice again!
Sally Faulkner is the backbone of this whole operation! This episode we talk about the essentials about living on the road. We have been on the road for 4 months now and we have learned a lot of stuff, stuff we wish we knew 4 months ago!
Matty Zane is a New England native who grew up in Freedom, Maine. If you've spent any time at Rumney you have most likely met him! This conversation we talk about his climbing trips with his mother, his experience redpointing China Beach, and a recent trip to Mexico to support his friend although Matty was injured at the time.
Episode 8 with Jenna Balinski. Jenna is a New England native, she has been living on the road for almost six years. Living the climbing dream. If anyone knows Jenna you probably know she has been fighting Lyme Disease for some time. We talk about how she has coped with it, and how she has made this life style we all dream about work.
A conversation with Francois Bergeron. A very humble dude and absolute crusher. Francois believes balance is overrated and he needs chaos to evolve. He believes if you get bored you should go find chaos, it may force you to find solutions.

Brian has been climbing for 35 years and is the type of guy that when he speaks you feel the need to listen carefully. Mostly because of his wisdom, but also because how soft spoken he is. Episode 5 with Derek Flynn! Derek and I have been climbing together for at least 6+ years. He always brings the psych to the crag, to the campfire, to the bar, to the concerts, to breakfast lunch and dinner. Basically Derek brings psych everywhere he goes! This episode we talk about the top 10 New Hampshire rock climbs according to Mountain project, (not according to us). Good old MP picked out an interesting 10 climbs, but its pretty cool that Derek has been on just about all of them. Edit I said in the podcast that the first pitch of thin air has 2 pins, it does not. I meant to say there are 2 nut placements.
Patrick Cooke has been ice climbing in New England for 15 years. He is looking to change it up a bit and do some more sport climbing in the future. Patricks hard work has payed off and he was lucky to score some rarely done ice climbs, tune in to find out what climbs they were!
Matt Giossi is a New England crusher! The word "crusher" is almost immediately associated with his name. He is a woodworker, an artist, and a huge part of the New England climbing community. Basically anything this guy puts his hands on he masters pretty quickly. A very humble dude who always stays psyced for everyone around him.
John is a Rhode Island crusher who has been climbing for 45 years. He is very humble and extremely passionate about rock climbing.
Kristin is a Co Founder of the Ladies Climbing Coalition. She is very passionate about climbing, and getting people out!
