This episode I speak with mama of one - Ksenia who had her first birth in India. Ksenia (who is originally from Ukraine) shares how she found herself in India right before the pandemic hit. During that time she found her partner (now husband) and fell pregnant with a baby girl. Looking for the most natural approach to birth they chose a midwife ran natural birth center in kochi (Kerala). Although the birth didn't go as planned Ksenia talks about her experience of surrendering, letting go and healing physically and emotionally from the feeling of failure & not having her birth go the way she planned. Suzi goes into detail of how she prepared for the birth of her two babies - she credits Hypnobirthing to the positive & empowering experience she had. She says how this helped her especially when her first born came early when she was 32 weeks pregnant. We share what life was like as sleep deprived parents and how it came to a ‘breaking point’ in which we ended up contacting a sleep consultant. However we decided on reading a sleep program a friend sent us and not using a sleep expert. We have had massive results with this program and it’s night 9 and everyone in the household is getting full night sleeps !! We have a few tips for those sleep deprived parents out there.
