Welcome! Welcome to the very first session Positive Potential Podcast! I’m super excited to have you here. It’s been interesting watching this Podcast unfold! I’ve been getting taps on the shoulder for a while now that it was time to have my own podcast show. I’ve been interviewed on many over the years, and I actually had my own Radio Show in 2010 called The Catherine Newton Show. Go check it out – it’s still on itunes! It was many years ago now, so have a laugh along with me as I was getting my trainer wheels on with interviewing! So fast forward 5 years and these taps on the shoulders started becoming loud knocks! And then the Universe stepped in and took care of it for me. Let me tell you how! What Is Covered? I’d like to go a little deeper into what we’ll be covering in the Podcast... Each week we will focus on helping you understand the practical and Universal principles of building a business, so you can grasp these concepts yourself then go out there and create a thriving business with your transformational work. I’ll do this by interviewing YOU, other heart-centred entrepreneurial women It was born as a result of my training as a Law of Attraction practitioner and having as deep knowing of Spiritual knowledge about how to achieve success, shift your beliefs and mindset and market your business so you can make more money, help more people and live a brilliant life. What I saw over the years, was an imbalance between what was being taught at a practical level and what was actually happening. Time and time again, I watched, first in myself and then in countless others, as success was NOT achieved through traditional marketing and business building principles. What I came to understand was that there is a direct correlation between the way you ‘feel’ about your business which affects the actions you take, and the results you get. What intrigued me was the better I felt, the more I believed in myself, the more confidence I had, the more people I attracted to support my business growth and the more miracles I manifested - including money. But what I also noticed was that along the way massive life lessons continued to present themselves. I went through years of being disconnected to the true Source of my success. I thought that if I just applied the steps I was being taught by those structured business coaches, I would make my fortune and live happily ever after. Not so. In fact, my life was literally turned upside down as I embarked upon following my calling and I had no idea what was happening to me. Well, at least I didn’t then. I do now. I believe it was my Soul calling me to live my true purpose, to fulfil my Soul Contract and to do so, I had to go through a series of life lessons and experiences as my Ego tried to ‘keep me safe’ and at the same time my Soul wanted me to emerge. Thus resulting in inner conflict, as I identified all of my shadows and explored the deepest levels of who I am. It was in those defining moments of learning to deal with that inner conflict that this work was born. Who would have thought that in order to have a purpose-driven business that one would have to go on such a comprehensive journey of self-discovery? I did it by spending many, many tens of thousands of dollars on Business coaches, on trainings, on conferences, workshops, and global events, on Spiritual healers, Guides and Practitioners. I sought help wherever I could. I spent literally every penny I had on ‘knowing thyself’ – and trying to understand why I kept subconsciously whittling my money away, not making any more than just enough, and THEN found myself almost losing everything before I found the answers. The answers now lay in the episodes of this Podcast, in the worksheets and resources I’ll share, in the teachings I will deliver and the permission I have given myself to show you a better way. It is through my mistakes, failures, patterns, obstacles, and challenges that this work was born. It was through my relentless drive to find out what was interfering with me achieving my inner desire that this work has manifested. I know that my Soul Intention is to help heart-centred, Spiritually-minded, purpose-driven women entrepreneurs to achieve success, shift their beliefs and mindset and market their business so they can make more money, help more people and live a brilliant life. And here’s how: Throughout this Podcast we will be focusing on the six underlying themes that will be your foundation for success: 1.Clarity – Giving yourself permission to see your Soul Intentions and getting you clear about your passion and your purpose, then owning your truth. 2.Discovery – Embracing who you are, what your life lessons are and how to overcome them, then taking your ‘story’ and making it compelling to others. 3.Love – Shining your beacon by first YOU falling in love with what you do, and what you offer then allowing others to love what you do (your message, your products or services) too. 4.Discipline – Creating effortless energy by training yourself to perform in a way that has you manifesting clients, setting up systems, and creating flow in your business just as your thoughts desire. 5.Knowledge – Acknowledging what you know and mastering the art of a successful business – making the shift from belief based decision making to values based decision making, shifting your mindset around money so you can make more and keep more money. 6.Surrender – Learning to give yourself permission to let go, and surrender enables you to be open to infinite possibilities and intentionally create a business that takes you wherever you feel destined to go. How to get the most of this Podcast When you get delivered the POdcast for each week, make absolutely certain you takes notes. There’s going to be lots of juicy information and learning in it for you! I want you to think of it like a community supporting you along your journey by letting you hear from real women – and men - giving you the precise steps you need to create a business that is successful and supported. The concepts and laws incorporated into this Podcast are universal. They will work for every person. It is designed to assist you in bridging the gap which lies between where you presently are in your life and where you truly want to be. Some of the concepts I will be teaching you, will be quite new to some. I have found that the universal principles are often needed to be repeated many times over before they fully integrate with your consciousness.
