Kilburn State Records is a DIY record label based in Kilburn London releasing music by apple rabbits and J.B. Presley. Coming soon Anaglypta and the Hexham Heads.
In 1993 at the age of 23, jay Fisher was signed to Mike Howlett's (producer of Blancmange,OMD, Martha and The Muffins, Flock of Seagulls) Mauve Records, he released the Velvetine Ear Album, which was critically received and he supported John Martyn on his 1994 Autumn Tour. Projects in-between have included Canteen (Everyone else) and Dave Randall's (of Slovo, Faithless) Eight Stories album. Since 2004 jay Fisher has been concentrating on his solo projects of apple rabbits and more recently J.B. Presley.
Apple Rabbits recently performed at The Union Chapel as part of the Daylight Sessions and he was booked to play The Big Tree Festival in August however it has been cancelled. He recently played an acoustic set for Vale Fest for Birmingham university. And is playing Brownstock at the end of August 2013
