Sen Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined Brian Kilmeade and sounded off on President Biden and Dr. Fauci and weighed in on Aaron Rodger’s recent comments. Tuberville believes that no one trusts the Administration because there is no leadership. On Aaron Rodgers, Tuberville said, “Bingo! Therapeutics – they never talk about it. I don’t know what they’ve got in with this vaccine but it is not 100% – we all know that – it can help you at some point, but you’ve got to be able to treat it.” He added that Rodgers is onto something with obesity and fast foods because that’s killing people more than these viruses.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joined Brian Kilmeade and discussed a range of issues from China’s status in the world since Australia’s upgrade to nuclear submarines to Gen. Milley’s call to China. Pompeo also insisted former President Trump was just ‘Joshin’ when he said Stacey Abrams would be a better governor than Brian Kemp and that Trump knows Abrams is a bad actor.
Matthew McConaughey, Academy Award-winning actor and New York Times #1 best selling author for his new book “Greenlights“, joined Brian and weighed in on a range of issues including cancel culture, politics, a possible future in politics, family values and his definition of success. “This immediacy of this culture with Twitter. It use to be about about what you tweeted about. What was the tweet? And then all of a sudden, if an issue came out and you didn’t tweet support for it, it was your non-tweet that got you in trouble…People were coming out going ‘Yea, that’s right. I want to stand up and want everyone to know that I am against rape’ and your like no sh*t! What? Did you have to come out and say that?” – Matthew McConaughey on The Brian Kilmeade Show
Former New York Governor George Pataki joined Brian Kilmeade on his radio show and discussed what it was like handling the terror attacks on September 11th with Mayor Rudy Giuliani and compare it to how Governor Cuomo and Mayor DeBlasio are handling the Corona Virus. Pataki said, “We never had a missed a beat. We never had a missed communication or lack of coordination and you contrast that today and the COVID crisis with a mayor and governor who don’t even talk. It seems like the mayor will say X in the morning and governor will say the opposite in the afternoon. You wonder if it’s just one-upmanship as oppose to actually acting for what’s right for the people of the city and the state.”
Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX), member of the House Judiciary Committee, predicted between six and ten democrats will defect on the impeachment vote.
Watch the latest video at foxnews.com Brian Kilmeade sat down with Nextdoor’s CEO Sarah Friar and discussed how the best way to make a difference in this world is to get active within your own community at the local level. It helps break down barriers and creates more meaningful relationships. Sarah and Brian also talked about how Americans, while more connected than ever, are actually lonelier than ever – and yearning for human connection.
New Mexico is going to be a key state, it is a swing state. I think the Governor is one of our stars…as the republican nominee—and again I don’t run his campaign, he can do whatever he wants to do—I would try and be making friends, particularly among people who have a big play in a state like she has. -Ed Rollins on Donald Trump going after NM Gov. Martinez Ed Rollins, GOP analyst & strategist for the Great America PAC, sat down with Brian on Kilmeade and Friends to discuss the state of the presidential race! Ed Rollins on how Trump’s persona is different than any other president in modern times… I teach a course on the American Presidency and there certain characteristics that presidents have, speaking your mind isn’t one of them, usually it is inspiring people, intelligence, leadership, those kid of things. Overwhelmingly, in all the polls we have seen this year the first thing people say they like the most about him is that he speaks his mind. You know, you know who he is and at the end of the day you know where he is going to take you. I think the key thing here is that he needs to define himself a bit more about where he will take the country and I think that will come as the campaign moves forward.
“I am not looking for an endorsement from someone who can’t vote. I want endorsements from people who can vote. Vladimir Putin’s not going to have a vote for President of the United States.” –Chris Christie on Vladimir Putin endorsing Donald Trump 2016 GOP Presidential candidate, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, called into Kilmeade & Friends to give his thoughts on Vladimir Putin endorsing Donald Trump, why he thinks Senator Rand Paul is “small stuff”, why he believes Syrian leader Bashir Assad must go and the importance of doing well in the New Hampshire caucus and Iowa primary. Christie also takes issue with a Politico story that says he never followed through to block Syrian refugees from entering new Jersey. Plus, Christie tells Brian who Bobby Moynihan imitates better on Saturday Night Live, Brian Kilmeade or Governor Chris Christie? Listen here: Christie on Vladimir Putin endorsing Trump “I am not looking for an endorsement from someone who can’t vote. I want endorsements from people who can vote. Vladimir Putin’s not going to have a vote for President of the United States.” Christie on if it is right for any republican or democrat to accept that endorsement? “I wouldn’t want that endorsement, Brian, not for five seconds.” Christie on moving up to # 2 in the New Hampshire polls “It feels good. It’s a reward for hard work and for being the guy who has really put forward specific ideas that are going to bring results for the American people and I think people are recognizing, especially now, that I am the person on that stage that is best prepared, based on my experience as a federal prosecutor and as a governor, to be able to keep our country, safe and secure.” Christie on his Iowa & New Hampshire strategy “I will be in Iowa after Christmas. We are going to New Hampshire tomorrow. We will be in New Hampshire for four days. Then we will take a few days off to celebrate Christmas with the family and then on the 27th of December, we will be back in Iowa, we will be there for three days.” Christie on if it was hard not going back at Rand Paul after tried to bait him when he questioned his judgment over Bridge-gate “Not at all Brian because I am running for the President of the United States and I am not worried about the small stuff and Rand Paul is the small stuff.” Christie on showing the American people he is a guy who can keep cool under when under fire “Oh absolutely, that’s what people want from a president. They want someone who is strong and tough, which I showed them I could be but they also want someone who is not reacting loudly and crazy to every insult. When you are President of the United States, you are going to get insulted a lot and you can’t react to every insult. You have to have the resolve to know that what you are doing in your heart and mind is right and continue to move forward. I am not going to respond to every insult. If I did, I mean geez Brain, I live in New Jersey, if I responded to every insult, all I would be doing is responding.” Christie asked if reports he doesn’t have the infrastructure in place beyond New Hampshire and Iowa are correct. “No, incorrect. Listen, we have great friends and supporters in South Carolina, in Mississippi, in Alabama, in Georgia. The Speaker of the House in Georgia (David Ralston) is supporting us. We have great support in Mississippi and South Carolina and we will continue to do really well in those states after New Hampshire. Here is the deal Brian, with 14 people in the race, you have to do well in Iowa or New Hampshire or you can’t go on.” Christie on if Assad should stay or go. “He is a murderer. He has caused enormous unrest and I think he is a major contributor to the creation of ISIS because of his treatment of Sunni’s in his country at the encouragement of the Shia regime in Iran. Assad is not an appropriate person to be leading any kind of civilized country.” Christie on a Politico story that he never followed through trying to block Syrian refugees “That’s not true. I sent a letter out making it very clear to people that we didn’t want them. Here is the problem Brian, the Federal government can override us and they are. The president has made it clear he is not going to listen to any request from any governor not to accept these folks. Since immigration is still a federal issue, the fact is, they are going to be able to continue to do what they are doing. I sent a letter Brian, there is nothing else for me to do. I said I object, I said I don’t want them but I saw that story, it’s written by an ignorant person who doesn’t understand the way I works. I made my feelings very plain to the federal government and the federal government has responded by saying that they are going to continue to place refugees.” Who does Bobby Moynihan play better on Saturday Night Live: Governor Chris Christie or Brian Kilmeade? CHRISTIE: I think he does you better, Brian! Jabroni, I think was the phrase he used. Jabroni! I haven’t heard that one in a while!
KILMEADE: Do you believe that he is coachable? Do you think that he knows more than he lets on? GRAHAM: I think half of this is an act. I think that Ted Cruz is a man who has lost. He is trying to be an isolationist when that’s hot. He’s trying to be a Lindsey Graham-type when that’s hot. I think Donald Trump, quite frankly, is coachable. I don’t like what he is saying, I’ve been hard on him, but I do believe that if you can convince him that we need more American troops in Iraq because the Generals are smart and say we do, and if you can convince him that a regional army in Syria is required to destroy the caliphate and we have to be part of it, I think he would go there. KILMEADE: That’s interesting that you think it is an act. After six months you think it’s an act? GRAHAM: I think some of it is just saying the strong man, you know, I’m going to kill everything and everybody therefore I’m strong, you know, I’m going to execute Bergdahl. Well, here’s what I am trying to say to Donald Trump, ‘You’re running to be President of the United States, the strongest voice in the world, you need to embrace our values to win this war, you need to be tough. You need to be able to articulate a plan to kill radical Islamists before they strike our homeland, but you need to understand partnerships are required. So the bottom line here is he’s undercutting the war effort, but I do believe, quite frankly, that he is more open minded than he appears to be. I maybe wrong. GRAHAM: Well, it is nice, but here is what’s really nice. That 1% of the country served in uniform just to protect the rest of us. For 33 years I’ve been a member of the Air Force and I’ve walked in their shoes, I am not a combat soldier, but we’re lucky to have those in the diplomatic corp in the military that are willing to go over there an fight. There are four top lines and I will let you go: we’re in a religious war between radical Islam and the world, we have to partner with the world of people in the faith to destroy radical Islam, you have to hit them before they hit you – they don’t mind dying, I want the war in their backyard not ours, we’ve got to be determined to have the will to win with a plan. Those are the four takeaways after 36 visits to the region. Obama doesn’t have the strategy to win. I do. People are coming my way. I am a hawk with a heart. I want to kill terrorists but I also want to nurture others that we live in peace with.
Brian was joined by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for a wide-ranging interview. Some of the topics included Jeb’s favorite part of his father’s presidential library, President Obama at the climate summit, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, the NH Union Leader endorsing Gov. Chris Christie, the best way to defeat ISIS and the reports that his brother, President George W. Bush, called him telling him to him to ‘stop it with this sht’. On who is best equipped to handle foreign policy in the White House BUSH: People are going to want to know who is going to sit behind the big desk. Who has the ability to make tough decisions? Who has the steady hand? Whether it’s Hillary Clinton who has a failed foreign policy or Donald Trump who is not a serious candidate as it relates to foreign policy. He doesn’t have the intellectual curiosity. He basically takes all incoming from blogs or wherever else he gets it and just repeats it out. His views on Syria have changed four times in the last month and a half. It is not a serious candidacy. He is an effective politician for sure but he is not giving the people a sense that he can be commander-in-chief, be president of the united states, as it relates to a serious foreign policy. As we get closer to the election people will be more focused on who has the leadership skills to actually be president. On the New Hampshire Union Leader endorsing Gov Christie over Gov Bush: BUSH: I like Joe McQuaid. I’ve gotten to know him. I respect him. His newspaper is important in NH, but the idea I don’t want it, as I am traveling from Debuke to waterloo to Newtown my final event tonight at 9 o’clock at night in Des Moines, five stops every day, if not more, all across this country. With all due respect to Mr. McQuaid he doesn’t get out on the road with me. I want it. I want it the right way. I am running hard. I’m running to win. We’ve got 60 days left to the Iowa Caucuses. People are thinking about this a much different way than they were just a month ago. I feel good about our chances in NH and I am excited about where I stand. On the reports that 43 called Jeb to say ‘Stop it with this sht’ regarding the way he was answering questions about his big brother… BUSH: This guy is a gossip writer, that’s what he is. This is the new journalism, Brian. Nothing substantiated, just throwing stuff on the wall seeing if it sticks. KILMEADE: So it never happened? BUSH: My brother just wants me to win. He’s been giving me good solid advice. I love the guy but I have to win this on my own terms. This election, like all elections, is about the future and that is what I am focused on.
Brian’s congressman, Rep Peter King (R-NY), called into Kilmeade and Friends and weighed in on the top terror stories of the day, from taking in refugees to the ISIS terror threats to stories that CENTCOM doctored intelligence reports. How is this president different from Bush and Clinton? This president isn’t listening to reality. He is so locked into ideology. People thought George Bush was this committed right-winger, Bill Clinton we thought he was this committed left-winger. The fact is that when pressures arise they were willing to look beyond their ideology, look behind the people around them. Like in Iraq, for instance, President Bush when he realized in 2007 that the Iraq policy wasn’t working he cleaned house. He admitted it, went on national television and said the strategy isn’t working. Bill Clinton would reverse directions if he had to, to make things work. They were much more trying to find out the right thing to do while Barack Obama is trying to convince himself, convince everyone, that he is right. That seems to matter more to him than anything else. He also gives the impression that this isn’t something he really wants to be engaged in but it keeps taking up his time. He would much rather talk about global warming. On the NYT’s & Fox News reports that CENTCOM is watering down intel reports: I am very concerned. From everything I hear, talking to people on the inside, those stories are accurate. The stories are accurate in that the information and the reports are being watered down to make things sound like they are better than they are. This is something the president has to do an honest investigation on.
Tiffany Brooks, whose unmatched work ethic was essential to the writing and completion of Thomas Jefferson & the Tripoli Pirates, joined Brian and compared and contrasted the Barbary pirates of Jefferson’s time to ISIS today. Brian was joined by Michael Morell, former Deputy Director of the CIA & author of The Great War of Our Time: The CIA’s Fight Against Terrorism. Morell offered up his first-rate insight into the terror attacks in Paris, disclosed how Edward Snowden lead us down the road of keyless encryption, agreed with Jordan’s King Abdullah warning that this is World War III, and explained that we didn’t worry about collateral damage during WWII because we knew what we were facing in Adolf Hitler and that we need to ease up on the rules of engagement.
Dr. Oz sat down with Brian and discussed how you should talk to your children about tragic events like the terror attack in Paris. Plus, Dr. Oz explained why this Thursday (November 19th) is such an important night, it is the #NightofConversation. On this night, Dr. Oz is asking parents to have a conversation with their children about drugs that will open up a dialogue about drug abuse and prevention.

Presidential candidate Governor John Kasich (R-OH) joined Brian Kilmeade on Kilmeade & Friends and sounded off on WH Press Sec Josh Earnest for the way he blamed republicans in a question on a possible government shutdown. Given Kasich’s history in balancing budgets, he offered up first-rate insight for what is going on in Washington and also offered support of Speaker John Boehner. Gov. Kasich recounted where he was on September 11, 2001, weighed in on where we stand in the war on terror & talked about other 2016 news such as Hillary Clinton’s server & Donald Trump’s comments on Carly Fiorina. Highlights are below. Listen to the full interview: PLEASE NOTE: These are not verbatim On Boehner and a possible government shut down… A government shut down will work if you can actually see your way to a successful resolution. I believe being Speaker of the House, any house, is probably the hardest political job you can have in our country because you can only assert yourself so far and at the same time you have to guide people who have different philosophies, ideologies and self-interests. If you are going to get yourself into the business of a shutdown you better make sure you have the prospects of victory not that you just want to make some point. The American people will punish you if you are just playing politics or are trying to achieve something that can’t be achieved. On Josh Earnest saying if congressional leaders don’t accept an invitation to negotiate, we will have a government shutdown. With that statement, it doesn’t sound like the admin is willing to be constructive in negotiations with republicans. A big concern for republicans is planned parenthood funding . There might be an approach that they can take where they can clear that they don’t want to fund this org any longer and there are other alternatives. I don’t like that comment out of the Press Sec from the WH. It is just not the way you can do things in this country, just dismiss country. That just isn’t the way to handle things. Let me tell you, if he was my spokesman, he would be in my office and I would tell him don’t you ever talk like that again. It is not good. Not good. Budgets are primarily an ideological battle. Republicans and Democrats rarely work together to pass a budget. There are a lot of spending bills where both sides can work things out and that kind of rhetoric only alienates the GOP and it isn’t helpful to this country. On the 14th anniversary of 9/11… It’s our modern Pearl Harbor in a way. It is something that we will talk about for the rest of our lives. On taking in refugees… Obviously, we don’t want to take people in who we don’t appropriately screen but we have a responsibility here as well. The President is proposing 10,000. Germany is going to take 800,000. It is fundamentally a European problem, but we have a responsibility. The inscription at the Statue of Liberty ‘Give us your tired and poor and those who want to be free.’ We have a responsibility but we don’t let people storm in here. We have got to make sure we know who they are. A number of them could probably give great value to the world—surgeons. In addition to that, we should think if we can provide humanitarian aid and logistical support. Lack of action in Syria… We should have been supporting these rebel groups a long time ago. At the same time, the president draws a red line and then walks away from it which creates confusion and great uncertainty. Whenever there is a void of US firm action bad things fill that void in many of the cases. Because the US has not been firm, because we have not led, I think there are profound implications. There is no question that our inability to drive Assad out in the early days by supporting those who were in opposition to him created at least a significant part of this problem. On Russia moving into Syria… Let’s determine what Russia is doing. This is bc we haven’t handled Putin in the right way. Putin is a bully and we have not been firm with him. Frankly, our EU allies ought to have an emergency session about this and if what appears to be happening is happening then we have to strengthen the sanction we have on Russia right now. I see these are possibly unraveling. The French talking about easing the sanctions. This should send a clear message to our friends, we cannot deal with these people unless you are willing to stand up and take a firm position. It is extremely troubling. On Hillary Clinton… They are trying to figure out how to get it behind them. When they started it they didn’t get it all out there. I don’t understand why you would have a server in your house. It doesn’t make any sense to me. She will be held accountable but that is later. She will be formidable but I will tell you this, she won’t beat me. On Trump/Fiorina… That rhetoric is clearly unfortunate.
We had a great week on Kilmeade and Friends! Here are some of the highlights from the week with Gov. Chris Christie, former Senator Rick Santorum, General Michael Hayden, Emma Sky, Pat Buchanan, Joe Trippi, Ainsley Earhardt, James Rosen, Chris Stirewalt & Gretchen Carlson.
Gretchen Carlson caught Brian Kilmeade off guard, and made him highly uncomfortable, when she said people are attracted to Trump because they think he has balls! Watch the latest video at foxnews.com
During a phone interview with Brian Kilmeade on Kilmeade and Friends, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was critical of both Donald Trump and Jeb Bush’s plans to defeat ISIL. Listen to the full interview below. Graham on Trump GRAHAM: Yea, it sounds like a stupid plan. How would you like your family member to go to Iraq wearing an American uniform and say ‘I am here to get your oil?’ How does that work? Is that what we are coming down to in this primary contest? To say we are going to send an American ground force back to Iraq to get their oil? Now, obviously, he has never been in the military. What would the Joint Chief of Staff say about such a plan? Is that who we are as Americans now? Are we down to this? Trying to have somebody be Commander In Chief who believes that the solution to ISIL is to go back to Iraq and take their oil? How would that go over? How would you like to be a soldier in Iraq saying ‘Hey, I am here to get your oil!’ Graham on Jeb Bush KILMEADE: Was it a mistake for Jeb to say it was a mistake? GRAHAM: Well, all I can say is that I am not going to say that. I like Jeb a lot, but he came out with this plan to defeat ISIL. It was woefully inadequate. Having a no fly zone in Syria is a good start but you need a ground component. I am trying to tell Jeb there is nobody left in Syria that we can train to topple ISIL and replace Assad because you’ve got to do both. They have been decimated so a no-fly zone without a ground component won’t work. He said he would maybe send some special forces into Iraq. That is not enough. You are going to need about three times the troops we have in Iraq to stabilize Iraq if you don’t fix Syria you never fix Iraq. If you don’t fix Syria you don’t fix Iraq. All of our guys are criticizing Obama but they aren’t coming up with a plan. My plan is simple, whatever it takes, as long as it takes to destroy ISIL.
Gov Huckabee stood by his 2008 comments where he said we have to talk with Iran to move our relationship forward and offered up some specific parameters. He also responded to Gov Bush’s comments over his stance on the Iran Deal, quickly pointing out Bush has not been to Israel as often as he has. Watch Here: Watch the latest video at foxnews.com On Jeb Bush… HUCKABEE: “Well, first of all, Jeb, I am pretty sure has never been to Israel as I many times as I have… I think he said ‘about as many times as he has’ I am pretty sure that is not the case…I have been there dozens and dozens of times.” KILMEADE: Does it bother you that Jeb made those comments? HUCKABEE: Jeb’s my friend. I like Jeb. Look, I think a lot of republicans are reacting to what the press reaction is. Look, the press always says ‘I can’t believe he has said that.” On Amb. Ron Dermer’s quote to USA Today… HUCKABEE: Look, I know Ron Dermer very well. He is the Israeli Ambassador to the US. I knew him when he was chief of staff to Benjamin Netanyahu. I’ve known Ron for 15 years. He is a great guy. He is saying what an ambassador has to say. KILMEADE: Do you think he really feels the way you do? HUCKABEE: Absolutely. I mean, I can’t put words in his mouth. I don’t know. I think he probably would have said it differently, but he is a diplomat and I am not. I am not trying to be diplomatic. I am trying to be honest. On his 2008 comments… HUCKABEE: I totally agree with what I said 8 years ago. Nothing has changed. KILMEADE: You don’t think you have contradicted yourself now? HUCKABEE: No. Conversations are fine but in that conversation the first thing you do in a diplomatic setting is that you make sure that we understand is that some things are unacceptable. For example, if we were sitting down with the Iranians today, I would say I want four return hostages on an airplane back to the United States. Number two, I want you to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist, and number three I want you to stop chanting death to America and say publicly that you are no longer going to try to destroy the United States. If you aren’t willing to do that then we have no diplomacy. We have no basis for conversation because it is hard to sit down and talk to someone who has a gun pointed to your head.
Former FL Congressman, Col. Allen West, joined Brian for his weekly hit and was fired up that the US Army will be reducing its forces by 40,000 over the next two years. Col West explained how this decision comes across to Iran, “Think about the message that this sends right now. If I am Iran, and we are going through the kabuki dance of these nuclear negotiations, we don’t seem to have a credible military threat or advantage. So that is something that they understand is strength and might and so they believe that they have the upper-hand.”
Megyn and Brian switched roles Wednesday morning when Megyn called into Kilmeade and Friends. Their quick-witted banter that we all love on TV continued on radio where the two talked about the news of the day, how they are both so similar (they are both scrappy) & about Megyn being on Variety’s cover. Here’s a sample of their conversation: Kilmeade: “Jon Hamm was on top of you” Kelly: “When you say it like that, it’s not so bad!” Listen to the full interview here:
Michelle Duggar told Megyn Kelly Wednesday that she and her husband were “devastated” when they learned their then-teenage son Josh had molested several of his sisters. During an hour-long exclusive interview on “The Kelly File,” the Duggars outlined what happened from the time Josh, then 14, came to his parents crying “and said he improperly touched some of our daughters.” A “fired up” Elisabeth Hasselbeck joined Brian for her weekly radio hit and sounded off on the Duggar controversy. Carly Fiorina to Brian Kilmeade, “We shouldn’t assume that Hillary Clinton can’t get away with all of this because I think she will!” Plus, Fiorina weighed in on the GOP debates, Gov Bush’s fundraising prowess and Gov. Huckabee getting into the race. Watch the latest video at foxnews.com
Senator Lindsey Graham joined Brian Kilmeade on Kilmeade and Friends and weighed in on a range of topics, from Senator Rand Paul officially getting into the race, to a possible deal with Iran, to President Obama taking another swipe at Christians. He also revealed that he will make his decision and/or announcement about a possible 2016 run sometime in late May.
Matt Kibbe of Freedomworks stopped by the radio studio and weighed in on Rand Paul officially joining the 2016 race. He also offered up some predictions for the GOP in 2016, such as predicting Gov Jeb Bush will not be the GOP nominee! Watch the latest video at foxnews.com
