Today I begin a series which is a bible study on the book of Daniel. The book of Daniel is a key book in these end times, and it is both a historical book and a prophetic book. Yet even the historical events we can say are used as types for events that are still to happen in our future. In this series of studies I hope to draw out not only the surface information but hopefully digging a bit deeper to pull out some truths and how they apply to us today as well.
The vision of daniel concerning the kings of the north and south leading up to the Antichrist is revealed.
Daniel receives another vision that troubles him and Gabriel comes to assist him after battling the Prince of Persia
The vision of the ram and he goat is interpreted and we learn it pertains to the end times.
The kingdoms of the world and the Christian nations are taken into the fourth beast and the one world system of Antichrist in Daniel's visions.
God delivers Daniel from the lion's den and Daniel has his first vision of four beasts during the time of Belshazzar.
Nebuchadnezzar loses the kingdom and is restored when he recognizes and repents to Our Father. Belshazzar's drunken party is interpreted by God's writing on the wall and Daniel is the only one who can interpret it.
Nebuchadnezzar sets up his golden image and commands everyone to bow before it. Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego refuse and are cast into the fiery furnace. But their faith in God, their trust and obedience to Him deliver them and save them.
Nebuchadnezzar's dream is recalled and interpreted by Daniel. This is important not only for Nebuchadnezzar's sake but for our sakes as well as it clues us in to the leadup of Satan's One World System and Who it is Who puts an end to that system.
Nebuchadnezzar has a dream that he can not remember or understand. The sorcerers, Chaldeans, astrologers, and magicians can not interpret. But thanks to God's goodness, the dream is recalled and interpreted for Daniel.
This begins a series on the book of Daniel in which I hope to pull out some deeper spiritual truths and make it applicable not only as a study or history but to those of us living today. Today's show deals with the early captivity and introduces Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah
