On Friday, January 14, 2011, the White House issued a press release that the Obama Administration would be easing certain sanctions on Cuba related to travel and remittances.
The press release is titled, "Reaching Out to the Cuban People" and is available for download here.
The final rules amending the Cuban Sanctions Regulations will be published in the Federal Register in two to three weeks.
