How do you connect with other businesses? Or other people? How do build relationships? Who is in your "circle of We?" Where and with whom are you loyal? In business? In your day-to-day life?
In E85, Connections, Relationships & Loyalty, we share some stories of creating connections, building relationships and how loyalty all play a role in building both our lives, and our businesses.
Joe “Dr Energy” Piazza and Kathryn “RaRa” Asaro Mayers have always emphasized effective, practical, real life principles. We learn best when we experience and practice core principles.
Whether you are presenting to one person, a small or large group, or an audience, if you’re not confident and powerful, your audience will miss your message. This could cost your audience’s trust, and your potential income.

There are many interests and creative concepts SJ Homer desires to produce and share with the world, and Homer Sapient is that vehicle. The idea for Homer Sapient was a play on words of his notable (and bad ass) last name Homer, with the term Sapient denoting the wisdom he could capture and distill across his many interests. The play on words further relating to Homosapien, the name of our species, such that any of his works produced would have some impact on how to look at life a little differently, and how he could give back and help his fellow humans in a world filled with a bit too much negativism.

Olivia never wanted to be an entrepreneur. She graduated from University with a Commerce degree and headed straight into corporate sales with the dream of working her way up the corporate ladder to CEO. With a short-lived 3 year 9-5 career her dream came true but not in the way she thought. Introduced to a entrepreneurial opportunity while working for a Fortune 500 company, Olivia quit her job without a long-term plan or a savings account and leaned on her belief in herself to get her through. Three years later after some self-discovery and experience, Olivia runs a successful social media agency focused on educating other business owners like herself on how to take ownership, put themselves out there, and grow their audience and business through social media marketing. Her laptop lifestyle allows her to train and meet with people all over North America while in her office or on a beach.

Catherine has been playing for live events just over 20 years now. One of the things she is best known for is stripping back any kind of song and performing it in her own style - she even went all the way to Wales to play her version of Thunder’s “Love Walked In” for a bride to walk down the aisle!
Along with live performances (for online streamed events at the moment) she also creates bespoke Belightful® Music for business in the form of audio branding, musical idents, podcast themes, call-waiting music etc. And with the added effects of tuning to the Fibonacci sequence, whether you are using Belightful® Music for healing & relaxation or for business & podcasting, you can be sure of a wonderful feel-good factor!

Morry says: "I've had many problems ranging from hearing thousands of voices in my head to severe depression. I had a big mouth, always got into trouble and was accident prone.
Something inside me made me look into the brain wave entrainment field when I observed that time would move faster than other times. I made the connection that when time moved quicker the sounds I was hearing were more rhythmic. When time painfully stood still, the sounds were disjointed.
After many years of using other people’s products, I was determined to learn why these technologies seemed to work only in a minor way, when all of the research I read suggested the effects should be more dominant than what I was experiencing.
I decided that my best route to understanding was learning at the feet of an expert in the field.
So I found and contacted the world's foremost expert in the field of brainwave entrainment and discovered some invaluable secrets that I could not get elsewhere.
Now I’ve conquered the extra voices and severe depression, and my mission in life is to help others improve the quality of their lives without the use of dangerous and habit-forming drugs."

"If you’re not repelling someone, you’re doin’ it wrong!” says Kathy Barthel, brand presence, video coach, and strategist at Take on the World.
Kathy means you must own what makes you distinct and present it in a compelling way on video—even if not everyone likes it—confident that as you repel the wrong clients, you attract (many more of) the right ones.
In addition to showing entrepreneurs and business leaders how to stand out on video, Kathy helps them see beyond the camera lens to connect with the person on the other side; and, deliver meaningful content to them. That way they harness the intimacy of video to build genuine, long-lasting client relationships that help their businesses thrive in our virtual world.
Kathy is a former TV host, TV producer, journalist, and interviewer with over 25 years’ experience creating content for major media outlets including CTV, CBC, YTV, MSN, HGTV, Rogers, and Slice.
She knows how to create a strong brand presence on camera; draw viewers in; and create an intimate, one-on-one relationship with them. She also knows that being on camera is not most business leaders’ idea of a good time, so she always makes it fun!

There were early signs of Rhonda’s passion for work in the wellness field; cosmetology-related toys and activities in pre-school, in grade school and then her high school studies in wellness. It was the transitions of that work that fascinated her. The energetic shifts held her curiosity.
They still do.
Through three decades of part-time, then full-time study and practice she has learned to see energy, then to go with the flow.
It is said that it takes 30 years to become an overnight success. In Rhonda’s life that statement has proven true: Her company and this book reached fruition exactly 30 years after discovering her affinity for the faculty of wellness.

Resiliency, it's a word we hear a lot these days. What does it really mean?
How do we "bounce back" after a setback? How do we take the lessons learned and apply them moving forward, in a more personally powerful way?
Resilience is the ability to persevere through, and overcome or transcend, challenges, personal crises, uncertainty, and 'simple' life problems. We come out on the other side a, hopefully, stronger, wiser, more inner-powerful (yes, we just made that word up) person.
A Conversation Worth Having on how we can rise to our highest self by moving from uncertainty to resilience.

Suji son was born March 30, 1985 in Seoul, South Korea at 6:48pm. Many blessing had been given from the universe from having a very lucky childhood that little Suji had to fight for every moment to take ownership of his own life - that Sweet victory. Zero to Hero, nobody to somebody. His life is filled with fascinating life stories and how he managed to beautify this game called "Life".
Suji feels it's very important to share his story and mainly his childhood of having no parents but adopted by his aunt and uncle until 17 years of age. Then how he became his own life giver by showing up in his life with courage.
The real interesting story began when he got rejected to move to the USA after September 9/11, and then landed on his feet in Canada 12 years ago with no english and no money and nobody. Fastforward to current, he is being "called " to become the leader of the healing arts as a Superhero and first ever pod cast gig as a non-english speaker of which it is something he is very proud. Suji's mission is to heal the world as he sees it and feels it in Chiron's way.

From the author: "All of life is a quest to make sense of one’s own life experiences, which leads us to greater understanding of ourselves and of life itself. Indeed all our life experiences mirror how we think and feel about ourselves and the world around us. The pursuit of happiness and satisfaction in one's own life becomes the push to expand self-awareness and bring greater fulfillment in life. My own quest to make sense of my personal life started in 1986 which eventually led me to write a book in 2007 titled “Mirror Mirror, Tell Me Who I Am”. During the years between (and in the years since then) I went through several complete teardowns, which upon deep self-reflection helped me to come to the realization that I create my own experiences, and that I also have the power to change them. Every teardown and rebuild continue to validate my understandings and provide me even deeper understanding of life, of myself, and my purpose in life. I now dedicate my life to helping others make sense of their own life experiences so they can find joy and fulfillment in life."

Welcome back to Season 2: Episode 8!
This week we interview an amazing, passionate Network Marketing Professional, Donna Sylvester. Donna has written a book - "Deal Your Own Cards: 10 Skills to Build a Winning Hand" - to help new, and experienced, network marketing professionals create a successful business and team.
Donna Sylvester is a passionate and committed network marketing professional.
Her professional work began in the Army Nurse Corps. After 22 years she retired, moved to Denver and entered the civilian job market. At the age of 62, her job was eliminated. She began looking for alternatives other than a 9-5 office job or work in healthcare. She made a bold move! When most of her peers were retiring, she entered the network marketing industry and decided to become an entrepreneur.
Donna discovered SendOutCards in 2010 as a follow up tool for her first network marketing business.
Now with 9 years of experience—and almost 10,000 cards sent--under her belt, she published a book, "Deal Your Own Cards: 10 Skills to Build a Winning Hand". This book takes hundreds of hours of personal development and boils it down to a simple guide to help new Affiliates get started with SendOutCards. While primarily written for SendOutCards, her book is a great resource for anyone in network marketing.
Donna is stepping out to an even greater presence with her book as she helps hundreds—maybe thousands—get their businesses off the ground.

We are excited to announce the first of our Special Bonus Episodes!
These episodes are ones that don't fit in our usual categories or have a special meaning or significance to us.
This first Special Bonus is a featured interview with Nils Blondon of Team Unbreakable. This organization focuses on physical activity as a way of promoting mental and emotional health in our youth. Their mission is very much in line with our purpose of helping you Be yoU!
Here in Canada, we have recently been through an annual media campaign promoting open, public discussion around mental health. We thought the programs and the messages discussed in this Special Bonus Episode was worth sending outside of our normal publishing cycle.
Give this episode a listen and then support Team Unbreakable!
Nils Blondon is a Youth Worker, Educator, and Writer from Toronto, Ontario. He has served as a Coordinator and Director for the Team Unbreakable Physical Health for Mental Health initiative in Toronto for the past 4 years, and worked with thousands of youth across the Greater Toronto Area.

"Isn’t it funny though how life puts certain people in your path? I came across my Mayan energy reader while vacationing in Costa Rica."
It is with great pleasure we share with you author, practitioner of wellness and energy applications in Traditional Chinese (Yang) Feng Shui, Reiki, readings and traditional energy work based on wellness principles - Rhonda Moffatt, The Energy Institute, Inc.
During my studies, it occurred to me that for nearly 30 years I’d been collecting sticky-notes as well as numerous articles based on various energy-work.
Then, a friend of mine who was visiting one Sunday morning for coffee looked over what I’d gathered and said: "You know, this is a book just waiting to be written.”
“Seeing Energy”- is about the awareness of personal, Universal energy and how to follow your own life-path. After practising what I preach – and following direction from the moment it crossed my path under such unusual circumstances.

Welcome to Season 1, Episode 3 of our B.U. Network Podcast.
In this episode, Joe "Dr Energy" Piazza & Kathryn "RaRa" Asaro discuss boredom...what are the positives, and negatives, to experiencing boredom?
What do you do when you feel bored? Do you binge-watch/stream television? Do you pick up your phone/tablet/computer and start scrolling through social media?
“We upgrade our phones all the time, but inadvertently it downgrades a lot of our social and personal skills.” -Yuval Harari
All of these passive strategies will give you a short-term "hit of feel-good," and a poor long-term, residual benefit.
“I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it’s not the answer.” -Jim Carrey
What if instead of these passive actions, you chose an active response; to exercise for 5-10minutes? Or meditate for 5-10 minutes? What if you went for a walk or bike ride outside and visited nature? These all have both a short-term positive impact, as well as a positive, long-term, residual benefit. Not only do we receive the short-term "hit of feel-good," we also build long-term health and well-being from these activities.
We invite you to join us, and embrace the magic on the other side of the boredom!

Welcome to Season1, Episode2 of our B.U. Network Podcast.
In this episode of B.U. Network Kathryn “RaRa” Asaro & Joe “Dr Energy” Piazza discuss some of our passions; how we found them, how they have helped us create our lives, and how to develop your passion. Often, we just need to start doing something…anything; then we find, and develop, passion for that activity, dream, or job.
Has someone ever told you to "just follow your passion?" What does that even really mean? How, and where, in our life do we find our passion?
One of our mentors, Kody Bateman, says that "doubt will take you out of action, and action will take you out of doubt."
When you find yourself doubting where you are, what you are doing, or who U are Being, take action! This will help you shift: your perspective, your thoughts, and yes, even more actions.
In this episode, we discuss some of our passions in relation to:
