Welcome to another episode of the Women Going Big podcast! This week, we dive deep into the inspiring journey of Brandy Von Holten—martial artist, entrepreneur, and owner of Von Holten Ranch. Brandy was recommended by previous guest Jen Fizer, and let’s just say, her story is nothing short of extraordinary. From a tumultuous childhood to becoming an international fighter and now owning a flourishing equine trail riding facility, Brandy’s grit and determination shine through.
In this episode, Brandi shares what moved her to Missouri initially—training for the Olympics as a heavyweight fighter. Despite the setbacks, Brandi refused to take no for an answer and went on to embrace teaching, overcoming personal struggles, and building a successful business with her husband. Brandi talks about the mental and physical preparation required for both martial arts and entrepreneurship, how she deals with social media negativity, and why focusing on the bottom of the Christmas tree can be more rewarding. Tune in to uncover more about her journey, the Women’s Chicks in the Sticks event, and her vision for nationwide equine competitions.

Katie is a certified life and leadership coach, but more importantly, she's a mom, wife, daughter, and high-achiever just like many of us. Her journey involves balancing professional success with the thrills and challenges of motherhood, all enjoyed with a touch of mom humor and a glass of wine.
As a dedicated Human Resources professional, her ambition persisted after becoming a mom. Juggling a senior role and motherhood, she faced sleep deprivation, self-doubt, and mom guilt. Following her second child and a promotion to HR Director, maintaining balance became a struggle, leading to overwhelming exhaustion and postpartum depression.
But here's where her story, and potentially yours, takes a positive turn. She transformed my life, achieving a balance that allowed her to thrive professionally, cherish family time, and prioritize self-care. She was able to redefine success, overcome postpartum depression, and rediscover my self-worth.

There is something to be said for the personal power and wisdom that we all hold inside of us. Did you know that that power started before we were even conceived? Join me as I sit down with Sama Morningstar to discuss our inner power and where it stems from.
Sama founded the Womb Centered Healing Temple in 2018 as a collaborative space to support people of all genders to learn about the importance of our experiences in and of the womb, heal the wounds inflicted on all of us by the womb abuse and suppression of patriarchy, and reclaim the power of the traditions of womb reverence that predate the patriarchal system. Out of her own personal journey healing from early childhood trauma founded in the domination model of the relationship between men and women, she has emerged with a passionate devotion to remember, re-activate, and re-establish Womb Power as our center of personal power and inner guidance. She has received potent soul purpose visions about the importance of returning to a partnership model of relating with each other and with all beings and diligently applies this model to all of her relationships.

If you're trying to pick an episode to listen to, listen to this one! I had the honor of interviewing Natalie Que, who is a badass life coach and podcaster. We were barely able to scratch the surface on her life but this episode gives you a pretty good idea of her story and how she was able to go big in her life. I am looking forward to having her back on the show in the near future to dive a bit deeper but we spoke on boundaries, chapters in your life, and learning how to be comfortable with yourself. Check her out on your favorite social platforms! https://natalieque.com/ https://www.facebook.com/natalieque.podcast/ https://www.instagram.com/natalieque/
On this episode of Women Going Big, I had the opportunity to speak with Jennifer Fizer, who is just an outstanding individual. We dove deep into what it means to follow your heart and really go for the things that you love. This was a great story of a woman who is going big in her own life and is influencing the women around her to do the same. She also just launched her own podcast well called, That Cowgirl Life, which for those of you that know me, is pretty coincidental. Make sure to check her out on social and keep an eye for my interview on her show coming soon! https://thatcowgirllife.com/ https://www.facebook.com/thatcowgirllife/ https://www.instagram.com/jennfizer/

One thing I LOVE about this podcast is that I have the opportunity to interview women from all walks of life. This week, I am excited to be able to interview, Brittany Hooker, a long time best friend of my own best friend. That's right, read that again. This is the first time we have really had to sit down and have a great conversation about life.

Another AWESOME episode is in the books. A huge thanks to Andrea Brundage for coming on the show today. Folks, if one of your New Year Resolutions was to be more organized then this is the podcast you need to start with.
In this episode, we talk about ways you can be more organized at home and in your business, how your stuff can actually control you, and how to take back your life by establishing a routine. And at the bottom of all of that is organization, which is Andrea's specialty.

This week, I was able to interview that was not only in another country, someone who was across the world. How cool, right?! I'd like to introduce you to Candra Burns, her foundation was built by volunteering as a child. While attending college, she resurrected the Natural Resources Club, interned with a forestry company, Rayonier Inc., and joined Society of American Foresters in WA State (WSSAF). She currently develops creative media content across many social media platforms, offers online reputation management and monthly monitoring reports, researches content that promotes the sustainable use of wood, and coordinates social media efforts with many organizations.
She realized her passion for media marketing through these efforts. She has been promoting building with wood since 2015 and documents Mass Timber buildings around Europe. She is a proud member of #forestproud and the Society of Wood Science and Technology. Her inspiration comes from the people who gave her hope and the people who give her hope for the future. These are the generous people who work every day to grow and help each other equally. Candra wishes to help others have a voice and build an online presence. She holds two associates degrees from Grays Harbor College and a Bachelor of Science from The Evergreen State College. She is a proud military spouse with the ability to work from anywhere in the world.
What a STELLAR episode that was, thanks for tuning in everyone! You can find more information at https://talkingforests.com/. Can't wait for next week!
This interview was such a treat for me to do with my friend and peer professional, Danielle. I have known Danielle for about two years or so and met her through a networking group. Danielle practices acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Her mission is simple, she simply wantsto help women transform, fromsurviving the effects of physical and emotional pain to thriving. We talked about much more than just that, so give it a listen and let me know what you think! You can find more about Danielle and her business at https://www.temacupuncture.com/.
This episode is great for military significant others because she is one and has been one for several years. She has overcome the hardship of her man being on deployment and having to take care of the house (and her cute doggo) by herself.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Kimberly this week, she is the owner of Chemless Cleaning based out of the Phoenix Valley and she also runs and owns Mind Your Business Networking Organization, a regular networking community. Check out this episode and listen to Kimberly's journey as an entrepreneur and business owner. You find her on Facebook at, https://www.facebook.com/KimberlyTopolski/.
