I know it's been a long time, but we're back! This episode is about my hospitalization. I talk about what I remember and Lesley fills in the blanks. There are a lot of blanks. This is especially true when she talks about the 2 1/2 weeks that I was in a coma. We packed as much as we could but there were many details that didn't make it.
We are excited to have Daytona Beach legends Kevin Tibbert and Andre Dahlen in the studio, and this is another episode with one of our few content disclaimers, because these dudes like cats and hard drugs and they know how to make people laugh. Sarah Kinbar is a journalist, she’s been writing for 27 years. Her very first published story was for the Titusville Herald, covering food resources for the homeless and needy. In recent years she has focused her coverage on comedy and hip-hop music. Sarah is also the co-founder of Hot Hot Creative, a digital marketing agency that serves independent entertainers and artists.

We talk about what happened on Thanksgiving, 1982, the year we were born. Among other things.
This week, we had an impromptu visit from our friend, and Duncan’s DogFather, Charles Blair! You can’t tell by listening, but this was his first time getting on the mic in a podcast studio, and he’s a natural. We talked about his experience with helping run a wrestling school when he was a young lad. We also managed to make sounds like Ric Flair, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I start off by talking about the Whiskey Business event and a bunch of different details about the PFT Media and Get Rad Records Cinco de Mayo event. Just about every detail mentioned, I haven't mentioned before. Nick does a Tidbit about being falsely accused of being phobic of certain groups, though specifically in this case, with the subject of transgender people. I also get Trace's take. Finally, I talk about an article I read a long time ago involving voice assistants.

I celebrate Christmas on air with stories of how I've spent Christmases in the past. I do so with the help of my mother. Of all the things I've ever recorded, this has to be one of my favorites.

In this episode Bill and I discuss celebrities that are bashed for who they are and they're made fun of for their bad acting, even though they're good at what they do. I couldn't resist putting my two cents in when it came to podcasting in general, podcasting in this community, and my Tom & Dan success theory. It's just a theory, but I am right. Also, I found the original recordings of Owen and I when we were first talking about doing Tidbits. This is the episode that should define what Tidbits is. Maybe with more segments though. I had a lot to say. If you've ben listening to local podcasts, this is the episode to check out.
In this episode Bill and I go over a couple different articles that show how other places around the world are trying to manage the mentally ill. This is NOT a heavy episode. We have a lot of laughs and what isn't funny, is interesting as hell. I'm still trying to find a way to make the segments shorter so one Tidbit doesn't last for a whole show. As far as that goes, we failed on this episode. Big time.

This is a bit different in that it's just one long segment. Many have heard that I went to the hospital. I tell the whole story as I know it in this episode. I have Rocky and Bill with me so it's almost like an episode of What's The Fuss. I wanted at least one person available to be the interviewer and to keep things as light as possible. I think we achieved that. Either way, it's great to be back!
