After denouncing Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., my life changed in ways I never could have imagined. In this video, I'm sharing what has happened since I obeyed God and came out of covenant with the organization — the spiritual breakthroughs, the warfare, and the revelations God began to reveal once I walked away. God opened my eyes to things I couldn't see before — how Satan recruits the best and brightest to advance his agenda, how deception hides behind words like "sisterhood" and "service," and how being part of these organizations can quietly affect a believer's salvation. This isn't about judgment — it's about truth. And when truth shows up, it always calls for a response. If you've ever wondered what happens after denouncing or felt that tug from the Holy Spirit to come out of something that no longer honors God, this video is for you. 📖 In this video, we'll cover: My personal journey and what has transpired since denouncing Revelations about the spiritual systems behind fraternities and sororities How Satan targets influence and intelligence to advance his kingdom The eternal implications of being in covenant with these organizations What freedom and restoration look like after obedience 🔥 Watch until the end for a powerful reminder about obedience, deliverance, and what's coming next — a deep dive into why pastors and church leaders are still bound by these same spiritual systems.
"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting."
What if the organizations so many celebrate as symbols of unity, legacy, and purpose… are actually part of something much deeper—something unseen?
In this revelatory message, Pavielle Bee exposes how Satan has weaponized deception to make spiritual bondage appear beautiful and allegiance to darkness look like empowerment. Using Scripture and insights, I uncover a strategy the enemy has been perfecting for generations—a war waged in plain sight, disguised as community, culture, and pride.
This teaching explores:
✅ How spiritual warfare operates through deception and agreement
✅ The hidden power of vows, oaths, and rituals many overlook
✅ Why some believers unknowingly defend what's actually opposing God
✅ How to recognize when you're part of something that looks godly but isn't
✅ The path to true freedom and spiritual clarity
"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." — Sun Tzu
The question is… what if that war has already reached you?

Sin — it's the one topic that most churches avoid, yet it's the very thing keeping so many believers bound. We talk about blessing, breakthrough, and favor, but rarely do we talk about the one barrier that quietly blocks all three: sin.
In this episode, we're having a real, unfiltered conversation about what sin actually is, why it's more than just bad behavior, and how it subtly separates us from God's presence and purpose. You'll learn:
🔥 What the Bible really says about sin — not tradition, not opinion
⚖️ Why sin is still relevant in a culture that normalizes rebellion
💔 How sin creates spiritual dullness and blocks us from hearing God clearly
✨ The power of repentance and grace to restore intimacy with God
This isn't a message of condemnation — it's a call to clarity.
Because before we can walk in freedom, we must first recognize what's holding us captive.
What if your scroll isn't as harmless as it seems? Social media is more than entertainment—it's a spiritual battlefield.
In this episode, I uncover the hidden forces shaping your thoughts, your time, and even your destiny.
There’s a hidden weapon the enemy has used for generations to silence voices, derail purpose, and discredit those on divine assignment—and it’s making a comeback.
Nehemiah faced it. Jeremiah endured it. Even Jesus Himself wasn’t exempt.
But this weapon didn’t come with swords or armies. It came through influence, perception, and systems of power. And what’s more chilling? Satan plans to use it again—and you could be his next target.
In this episode, we uncover the pattern, expose the strategy, and prepare you to recognize the signs before it strikes. If you’ve been feeling resistance, rejection, or confusion around your calling… this video is your wake-up call.

The spirit of deception is running wild in the world and I have been a prey to it recently. Exposing deception is high on God's agenda, so from the looks of it we have ourselves another series!
On one occasion when the disciples were with Jesus, they asked him, “what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
The very first thing out of Jesus' mouth was, “Take heed that no one deceives you.” The disciples were asking for a sign of Jesus' return and he’s talking about deceit. He mentioned deceit two more times in his response. Thus, deception is a sign of the Lord's return.
It is not God's will that we be deceived, so this series will shed some light and truth on areas that are ripe for deception. This episode dives into the fundamentals of deception.

This bible study of sorts breaks down the spiritual concept of altars. Altars run the world yet they are rarely spoken about in church settings. People in the kingdom of darkness brag about raising their altars.
I’m going to walk you through what an altar is, what makes an altar powerful, and how altars control the world. The focus will be on holy altars but I will discuss evil altars here and there so that we have context for how things work on both sides.

Masculinity has come under scrutiny recently with the rise of toxic masculinity labels for some things that are toxic and some that are not. There is a biblical truth for masculinity though. A truth that allows Believers and followers of Christ to understand and embrace God’s perspective of masculinity.
Marcus Pierre has a wealth knowledge on the biblical truth for masculinity and shares it here.
Marcus Pierre is an author and speaker who is passionate about edifying the body of Christ through God’s Word so that they can thrive in their God-given identity and purpose. He couples scripture with thought-provoking practical principles to educate others on what it means to be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
As a man living in today’s society, Marcus has witnessed the dichotomy between masculinity from the Kingdom perspective and the cultural perspective. Through his own life experiences and growth, Marcus seeks to empower men with biblical truth so that they can defy culture and live according to God’s view of masculinity.

If you haven’t already, then over the next few weeks you’ll likely start to hear prophets giving prophetic forecasts for the year. If you or anyone you follow goes by the Hebraic calendar then you have likely heard that this is the year of open doors.
God has called me to teach and equip or build up, so while I don’t have a word for the body for the year like a prophet does, I do have instructions for how we should posture ourselves to put us in the best spiritual position for what’s to come in 2024. There will be moves of God and moves of the kingdom of darkness. Some of the doors opening in 2024 will be doors of great opportunity and great promise that have actually been opened by the enemy.

Demons did not leave the Earth after Jesus was resurrected. Satan and his demons operate off of ignorance, fear, and deception.
“Satan does not have the right to work in anyone’s life. It is not authority that creates opportunity for him. It is ignorance. The only opportunity that satan has is the one that you give him.”
Associating with witchcraft and demonic practices, no matter how unintentional, creates opportunities for Satan to work in our lives. My intention in this episode is to expose darkness and some of the methods satan uses to deceive Believers. I will also equip you with biblical tools to overcome satan’s schemes and deceptions.

Your purpose requires greatness. You are called to be great through your purpose. God wants you to dominate through your purpose. He wants you to get results that other people are not and cannot get. He wants you to be superior in skill, superior in knowledge, and superior in impact. I woke up one day with an urgency to do this episode about greatness and how to be great. Before I get into the meat and potatoes of this episode I want to say that this episode is not for everyone. Here’s who this episode is for: * This episode is for the person who knows they were created to do something great and they want to be the best version of themselves as they walk in that * This episode is for the person who doesn’t mind looking like they’re “doing too much.” Truth is, you’re always going to be too much for people who don’t do much. - Myleik * This episode is for the person who wants to show up in excellence but doesn’t quite know what to do to achieve it

The supernatural power of God is our inheritance as Believers in and followers of Jesus Christ, but somehow we abandoned it along the way.
"There is a God that is preached today whose name is Jesus, but he has no power today. The moment you divorce the supernatural from God, He is no longer God." - Apostle Chazdon Strickland
Apostle Chazdon is a gift to the body of Christ and he has a ton of first hand experience with the supernatural power of God and we went into the deeper things of God in this episode.
Chazdon Strickland is a loving husband to his beautiful wife, Emily and a wonderful father to their beautiful five children. After a radical encounter with God at the age of eighteen years old, he was called to carry a global fire to the nations. Chazdon’s ministry is marked with remarkable demonstrations of God’s power, revelation of the Kingdom and Apostolic signs and wonders. As he ministers, the Holy Spirit releases fresh impartation, to advance believers in the things of God.
Chazdon and his beautiful wife Emily are also the Senior Leaders of Ignite the Globe (ITG), located in Jacksonville, FL. ITG is a revival center, where the supernatural & Apostolic five-fold graces are released and individuals are awakened, discipled, and equipped to demonstrate the Kingdom of Heaven, in the earth. He is an excellent person to be in conversation with about the supernatural power of God.

Fasting is a spiritual discipline and practice that works no matter who implements it. That's why so many different religions incorporate it. Today, we treat fasting very casually and view it as optional. However, when Jesus spoke about fasting, He would say, "when you fast..." Fasting should be a regular practice of Believers, especially when it comes to purpose and destiny.

The process of discovering your purpose and executing it in the kingdom requires spiritual discipline. We don’t just stumble into being spiritually disciplined. We have to commit to it.
You didn’t receive salvation by accident. You were drafted into the family of God not only as His child but as a partner in the fulfillment of his purpose and will in the earth. You have a strategic part to play in what happens here.
Spiritual discipline is what will help you know God deeper and carry you through your purpose.

What reiki and yoga and actually do to the body is very different than the physical things we feel. Reiki and yoga actually have serious spiritual consequences.
I invited Naja Alston, a former certified Reiki practitioner, onto the show to give us insight into what happens when we engage in reiki and yoga.
Naja grew up in a seemingly ordinary family. As a young girl, she displayed a fascination with the mystical and the supernatural, which eventually led her to explore the world of witchcraft. Drawn by the allure of secret rituals, divination, and the promise of hidden knowledge, she delved into the practices of the occult and various forms of modern witchcraft. Despite the darkness that often shrouded her path, Naja was a person of great curiosity and depth, seeking answers to life's mysteries through her unconventional spiritual pursuits.
As Naja delved into the teachings of Jesus, she felt a profound shift within herself. She quickly began to distance herself from witchcraft and embraced a real relationship with Jesus, a life rooted in faith, hope, and the promise of eternal redemption.
Today, Naja is an inspiring example of the power of God's transformative grace. She recently authored the book "From Witchcraft to Righteousness: A Journey of Redemption" which is a captivating narrative that reminds us all of the boundless possibilities of change and the indomitable strength of the human spirit when guided by faith and the pursuit of a higher purpose.

I am a deep music lover. I can listen to music all day. So, to see the shift in music is sad. Music has so many elements to it that the everyday person just isn’t aware of, yet they can still experience the consequences of.
I know a lot of people who are fighting to receive revelation from God about their purpose. Some of them are fighting to hear God in general.
They try seemingly everything they know to do but have heard nothing and they come to the conclusion that God isn’t speaking to them. While that isn’t true, it is what their experience leads them to believe. Nine times out of ten there is a block there.
The enemy hates revelation so he does whatever he can to prevent people from hearing from and music is one of the things he can use.
On top of that, he puts things in music that opens us up spiritually.
So in this episode, I explore:

This episode dives the fundamentals of deception.

Politics and Christianity are two things that society tells us should never be brought up in polite conversation. Well, in this episode Justin Giboney and I are diving into both topics and how they intersect.
Justin is an attorney, political strategist, and ordained minister in Atlanta, GA. He is also the Co-Founder and President of the AND Campaign, which is a coalition of urban Christians who are determined to address the sociopolitical arena with the compassion and conviction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The AND Campaign seeks to educate and organize Christians for civic and cultural engagement that results in better representation, more just and compassionate policies and a healthier political culture.
Justin has served as a delegate for the Democratic National Convention and as the co-chair of Obama for America's Gen44-Atlanta initiative.
Mr. Giboney has managed successful campaigns for elected officials in the state and referendums relating to the city’s transportation and water infrastructure.
He’s the co-author of Compassion (&) Conviction—The AND Campaign’s Guide to Faithful Civic Engagement and has written op-eds for publications such as Christianity Today and The Hill.

This is the third episode of The Summer Edit series. The Summer Edit is a collection of episodes that are more personal and intimate in nature. I won’t be doing much teaching in the way that I normally do, and because of that the episodes will be shorter.
The Summer Edit allows me to take a bit of a break from teaching and interviewing. If you missed the first episode, it was about spiritual maintenance and my approach to it.
In this episode of the series, I want to share something that I know will be beneficial.
My pastors preached a series called Limitless and it’s life changing if you really believe and apply it. One of the topics they covered during the series is a concept that I’ve been meaning to share with you for a couple years lol, so after church that Sunday I went ahead and put the episode on the calendar lol.
This episode chronicles my journey implementing what I learned.

One of the ways that God communicates with us is through dreams.
I did a little research on sleeping and a lot of sources report that we spend a third of our lives sleeping. Imagine God wanting to get a message to us and not being able to because we are asleep. He ain’t going for that! This is why dreams are so important. God uses dreams to get messages to us by speaking directly to our spirit. He bypasses our flesh and soul and speaks to us spirit to spirit.
This is why it is so important for us to write the vision as soon as we wake up and Nailah Shelton has a powerful, effective tool for accomplishing this.
Nailah is the owner of Make it Plain. With a passion for helping believers understand and steward the way God communicates to them, she has centered her brand around creating resources to deepen intimacy while writing what they see and hear from the Lord. Nailah believes that God speaks to all of His children, and hopes to encourage believers to be confident in true sonship as they walk through this journey with Him.
In a time where many people are dreaming and hearing God more clearly than they ever have, Nailah is committed to creating tools and resources to help organize and record what God is speaking to you.
When Nailah is not working on new products for her business, she can be found creating content on her personal Instagram page, baking, or salsa dancing!

God is the beginning, middle, and end of all of life. If we want to truly know who we are, who we were created to be, and what we created to do (that’s your purpose), then we have to get to know God intimately. One of the ways we accomplish this is by reading his word. When you know the word of God, you learn the will of God for your life.
God revealed a part of my purpose to me through scripture and he speaks to us all the time through his word.
This episode answers a common question that I am asked but I am rarely ever able to satisfactorily answer because the answer requires so much information lol. Now I can respond by directing people to this episode.
I initially was going to do a masterclass on it but I felt led to make it a podcast episode so that you can revisit it and have access to links for the tools I mention.
We are called to be interpreters of the Bible, which is very cryptic. Studying is the process we use to learn and interpret. God is the creator of the universe and everything in it which means he created us. If we want to truly know who we are and what we were created to do, then we have to get to know him intimately and that happens when we regularly commune with him. Our God is a god that still speaks and he wants to speak to you about your purpose.
I know people often talk about hearing the voice of God but I think that can be misleading and it’s really because of the use of the words "hearing” and ‘voice.’ Those words imply that there is a sound and a lot of the communication God does with us has no audible sound.
But because people are looking to actually hear the audible voice of God, they miss God when he is communicating with them in other ways. God’s voice is expressed in other ways like peace, lack of peace or uneasiness about something, and many other ways.
In this episode, I’ll be discussing:

There are a lot of opinions about purpose circulating the internet streets these days. The opinions are catchy too because they center the person and not God.
This episode is the first of our deeper exploration of purpose and spiritual growth. I figured I would do this little fun episode about my unpopular opinions which really aren't my opinions at all. They are my revelations from scripture.

I recognize that many are slowly getting back to traveling. I figured re-releasing this episode would be right on time. In this episode, I had a wonderful conversation with Monet of The Traveling Child.
Monet is a family travel blogger, freelance travel writer, and author of the children’s book The Traveling Child Goes to Rio de Janeiro. In addition to her own blog The Traveling Child, she is a contributor for The Points Guy and Essence.com, The Traveling Child, inspires parents to travel the world with their kids while providing tips to make it easier and affordable.
Her motto is “if kids live there, kids can visit” and you’ll often find her family exploring destinations most don’t consider “kid friendly”.
Monet graduated from the University of Florida and went on to earn her Masters Degree from Georgetown University. Currently, she and her family resides in South Florida. Having Jamaican roots, she’s kind of an expert in beautiful beaches and you can often find her family sitting on one!
In this episode we covered… * The purpose of traveling * Lessons Monet has learned about herself while traveling * Common myths people believe about traveling * Tips for anyone wanting to travel and not break the bank

This episode is a little different. Lately, I’ve been feeling led to pray more for the people who are connected to me, especially those who are connected to the ministry of The Purpose Collective. You all are on the precipice of something amazing through your purpose, so I feel it absolutely necessary to cover you in prayer.
I’ve been hosting live, virtual prayer calls. The audio in this episode is the audio from one of the prayer calls. During this prayer time, I sought God for a few things for you, including your purpose, your desire to pursue it, and strengthening you along the way.

This episode is actually the second part of a two-part series on parenting kids and equipping them spiritually. Parents are the most influential people in their child’s spiritual growth journey, so it’s important that parents be the first teacher and model of what it is like to be a believer in and follower of Christ.
Even if you don't currently have kids or if you have no plans of having your own kids, you may still find yourself parenting someone else’s kids. The dictionary defines a parent as a person who brings up and cares for another. It doesn’t say anything about birthing.
If you missed the first episode of this series, then click here to check it out. After you listen, come back and pick up here with this episode. For this episode, I invited Alondio Hill, a student minister and father.

Many parents are sending their children into the world with zero spiritual tools. This isn't judgment. This is a fact. A lot of kids have nothing to combat all of the things the enemy throws at them every day, and the enemy launches big missiles at kids. He exposes them to sex and pornography as early as elementary school. He even starts inundating them with identity issues.
Kids are in a constant battle whether we realize it or not.
This episode is part one of a two part series on parenting kids and equipping them spiritually. Parents are the most influential people in their child’s spiritual growth journey, so it’s important that parents be the first teacher and model of what it is like to be a believer in and follower of Christ.
Even if you don’t currently have kids or if you have no plans of having your own kids, you may still find yourself parenting someone’s kids and needing to teach them spiritual tools. The dictionary defines a parent as a person who brings up and cares for another.
I invited minister Karen Malone on to help us in this area. This episode is packed with so much valuable information to help guide you along the way of teaching spiritual tools.
Min. Karen L. Malone serves as Senior Director of Family Ministry at Faith Chapel in Birmingham, AL where she has served in full-time ministry for over 11 years. She has a passion for serving and supporting others in expanding their influence, and believes in developing our next generation leaders at a young age, so that they grow up as bold and courageous leaders for Christ.
Karen taught for 11 years in the Madison City School district in Madison, Alabama before transitioning into full-time ministry at Faith Chapel. Her first ministry, as well as her greatest honor and achievement is being the wife of Min. Tyrone Malone and mother of their two beautiful children.

Your commitment to find God again and learn Him on an intimate level after being away can feel daunting. It isn't. The enemy is invested in making you feel like it is though.
In this episode, we’re getting into an intimate conversation with our guest, Kya, about her journey finding her way back to God after deciding to live in sin.
Kya has a heart to please God and she loves Jesus. I had a great time with her and I cannot wait for you to hear about her journey to find God again even though He had never left her.
Kya is a 24 year old mother of boy/girl twins and a soon to be wife. She is the owner/CEO of @deeplyrootedj, a clothing brand that helps women grow their Godfidence. As a Christian creative she has a passion for pushing women to step boldly into their ministry, conquer fear and limiting beliefs, and create life changing Godly content while doing so.

Home organization and decluttering are on trend, but if we limit declutter to aesthetics, then we miss the more meaningful, mental and psychological benefits of it.
I stumbled upon Brittani’s instagram page, Pinch of Help, around 2017 or 2018 and I have been hooked on her skills ever since. Her organizational skills are unmatched, so I had to invite her on the show.
Brittani is a Professional Home Organizer, CEO and founder of Pinch of Help-Home Organization based in Atlanta, GA.
Brittani is very passionate about creating environments her clients love living in by using her expert ability to match functional organization with aesthetically pleasing solutions.
She is a loving mother of two children, and puppy Chloe, and is the wife to husband Chris, who joined the Pinch of Help Team in 2018 as lead organizer and CBO.

Discerning of spirits is a gift of the Holy Spirit that allows us to very easily detect and decipher the motivating spirit behind something.
I used to think this spiritual gift was the same as discernment but that is NOT right. I believe truly believe discernment and the gift of discerning of spirits are something everyone should be praying to access.
We need to know the motive and spirit behind things, because guess what? The devil has access to supernatural information too! Soooo many things can seem right when they are actually wrong.
Here’s where we’re going. I will:

Learning how to heal your body with food isn’t something we are taught growing up. Nor is it something we typically learn until it’s too late.
This episode was so important to me personally because I have experienced food negatively affecting my body. It impacted how I was able to show up and do the work of my purpose.
I invited Dr. Lauren onto the show to expand our view of food so that we can continue to thrive and live whole, healthy lives.
Dr. Lauren W. Powell, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and culinary medicine specialist on a mission to end generational health issues in the African-American community. She makes healthy eating accessible and enjoyable for all through her social media quick tips, online cooking school, and debut book, “Food Essentials for the Busy Professional.”
Dr. Lauren travels the U.S. speaking to diverse audiences about disease prevention and the healing properties in food. She earned the title, “The Culinary Doctor” by means of her insightful, high-energy presentations that offer just as much entertainment as practical health knowledge.
Dr. Lauren is a mainstream and social media personality that has been featured on Fox, ABC, CBS, and NBC. When I decided to record an episode about how to heal your body with food, it made sense that I invite her on to break down how this works.
In this episode, she breaks down:

Purpose and impact go hand in hand. When you are operating in your purpose you will have an impact on the lives of others. That's just how purpose works. Our purpose fulfills a need in the kingdom, which means that for the most part, the people you are called to serve are stuck until you show up for them through your purpose. While purpose fulfills you, it isn’t solely for you. It’s the people whose lives you are called to impact. I had a great conversation with Maya Elious that really showed how one person and impact lives and change the world.
Maya Elious is a personal branding strategist and the CEO of Built To Impact, a coaching and consulting company that helps faith-based female entrepreneurs build a high-end coaching business.
Through her 6-month accelerator program and her signature live event Impact Weekend, she’s helped hundreds of clients get clear on their message, confidently increase their prices, and have successful five-figure launches.
She’s been featured as a top branding expert in publications like Black Enterprise, Forbes, and Business Insider. Her main mission is to help women monetize their gifts so they can create impact and build wealth.
When she’s not helping her clients build their online empire, she can be found traveling, spending time with her family, or watching medical dramas Hulu.

It's one thing to get a vision from God. It's another thing to act on that vision when your current life doesn't look like the promise.
I had the opportunity to sit down with K’la Inman to talk about faith. K’la is no stranger to speaking things into existence even when her present circumstances look nothing like what she is saying out of her mouth. She grabs onto the promises of God and moves on them.
K'la Inman, who goes by the name K'la Model Maker has been in the entertainment industry for around 12 years. She has worked on nearly every type of set, including tv/film, commercial, and print.
K’la started her company to help people just like her younger self learn exactly how to start in the industry. She wasted thousands of dollars on fake modeling agencies that would come to town promising to deliver her 'dream' and had nothing to show for it.
Her passion is to expose the frauds, and light up the true path to a career in this industry.
In this episode, K'la and I discussed:

Being led by the Holy Spirit in every area of your life, especially your purpose, is where a lot of Believers draw the line. They simply are not interesting in doing what God says when it isn’t in line with their interests.
I honestly think this approach is rooted in fear, but trusting God is safe. He uses the Holy Spirit to guide, teach, and direct us, among other things. So, I figured it might help to shed some light on what obeying the Holy Spirit can look like and I invited Mecca Gamble McConnell on the show to do it.
Mecca Gamble McConnell is an Atlanta-based photographer who creates images to elevate the digital presence of service-based entrepreneurs, tell their stories and leave their legacies. After earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Duquesne (ducane) University, she has dedicated the last decade to documenting the lives of black families, couples in love, and entrepreneurs.
Through her workshops, speaking engagements, and one-on-one training, she has helped dozens of growing photographers establish and grow their businesses. A number of popular wedding and lifestyle publications have featured her work, such as The Knot, Upscale, Essence, Pittsburgh Magazine, B Collective Magazine, and The Atlanta Tribune. She enjoys reading, Pilates, and trying new restaurants with her husband when she’s not behind the camera.

Embarking on a journey from prison to pursuing God’s purpose and plan for your life may not be easy, but it is definitely worth it.
The guest in this episode is a testament to the redeeming nature of Jesus. Some people would have written him off given his past, but Reginald Foreman is a man committed to God and his purpose.
Faced with gangs, abuse, and prison; Reginald was illegally sentenced to 18 1/2 years in Federal and State prison. He was set free after 4 1/2 years, only to be re arrested and told he was let out erroneously by mistake.
Reginald was destined for failure until he found God and found purpose in his pain; he created an unstoppable Ministry and Business empire that is simply…”God Made.”
Reginald’s story has been seen on The CBN 700 club & TBN’S JuceTV; also the front page of the St. Louis American business section. He was nominated by Black Enterprise in 2018 as one of the BeModern Men of the year.
He also is a five time published author.
Reginald is now developing a global product that will help empower children across the world. Reggie The Lion, the Positive Affirmation Character.

Being anointed is often be seen as synonymous with a platform or a feeling you have after experiencing someone gifted, but it's much more than that. I got to have an amazing conversation with EJ Gaines about being anointed for business, and let's be clear...EJ IS an anointed businessman.
Erik Justin (“EJ”) Gaines is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Capitol CMG and Co-Executive Director of Motown Gospel, divisions of Capitol Records/Universal Music Group. An entertainment lawyer and former artist manager with 20 years of experience in the music business, EJ Gaines has guided the careers of GRAMMY Award-winning recording artists, producers and songwriters, as well as producers and talent in film and television.
In his current role as Senior VP of Marketing, Capitol CMG/Co-Executive Director of Motown Gospel, EJ Gaines oversees marketing and commercial partnerships for over a dozen artists on the roster of the world’s largest Christian music label, including Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, Tye Tribbett and Brian Courtney Wilson. Most recently, he oversaw the marketing campaigns for Harry Connick Jr.‘s award-winning project, 'Alone With My Faith', Tori Kelly’s GRAMMY-winning 'Hiding Place', and Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s acclaimed 'Royalty: Live at The Ryman'.

Marriage and dating are two topics that are not covered in depth enough from a holiness perspective. I invited Pastor Ray Murray on the show to provide insight on how we can improve our approach to dating and marriage and approach them from a more strategic angle.
Ray Murray (P. Ray) is a man on a mission. He has accepted the call to be a voice to a generation that just wants the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ… a group of people unwilling to accept the phrase “that’s just the way it is.”
Whether in the pulpit delivering messages or standing on public stages sharing inspiration and encouragement, he stands comfortably in the intersection between life and scripture with a conversational style that is a unique blend of honesty, humor and insight.

We often talk about going from A to Z but rarely do we laser in and focus on what it takes to get from A to the very next step, which is B. In this episode, Jalon Webster breaks down how he took small steps that eventually led to him taking a massive leap.
Founder of the GoldenHour Brand and Create Gold Foundation, and former barber to the stars in Los Angeles, Jalon Webster is now a speaker and author. Proud native from San Fernando Valley, CA, Jalon is no stranger to the bright lights that come along with being from and “in” this city.
Jalon's deep rooted faith in God continuously allows him to grow as an individual and also see the light in each and every person. Love is the only language universally understood. Jalon’s uncanny ability to connect and dive beneath the surface with anyone in all walks of life stems from his background in the service industry and has now taken those skills to the masses.
In this episode, Jalon breaks down:

Your purpose requires greatness. You are called to be great through your purpose. God wants you to dominate through your purpose. He wants you to get results that other people are not and cannot get. He wants you to be superior in skill, superior in knowledge, and superior in impact.

"Sex. I don’t think we’re talking about it enough." This is how Mo Isom begins her life-changing book Sex, Jesus, and the Conversations the Church Forgot. This line hooked me, which led me to take this book with me on vacation.
Mo is a popular blogger, a national speaker, and the New York Times bestselling author of Wreck My Life. A former All-American goalkeeper for the Louisiana State University soccer team, she has been featured in Sports Illustrated and has appeared on ESPN SportsCenter Top-10 Plays, Ellen, ESPN, CBS, The 700 Club, and countless other platforms. Mo is married to her husband Jeremiah and together they have 4 beautiful children.
In this episode we covered… * The purpose of sex * The advice she has for someone who wants to intentionally reframe their view of sex to God's way * Encouragement for single men and women who are abstaining from sex until marriage but are finding it hard to find someone willing to wait * What Mo believes couples should discuss that will help them be prepared for the inevitable sexual temptation that will present itself

Have you ever had an idea hit you that was so good you couldn’t stop thinking about it? One that comes from out of nowhere and now that it hit, you just can’t shake it? These don’t come up often but when they do it can be exciting and sometimes nerve wrecking.
A question I get asked a lot is, how to know if an idea someone has is from God. It’s a great question. What makes it great is that the person asking the question recognizes that there are some ideas that may be great but aren’t from God.
You might be wondering, does it really matter if an idea is from God or not? Like if the idea is good, then it’s still worth pursuing right?
I got you covered.
In this episode, I break down:

If I had to pinpoint one thing that led me to my purpose, I would have to say it was my spiritual growth. Before God led me to my purpose, I spent about three to five years really seeking out God and the things of God. I craved a more intimate relationship with Him and to be used by Him in supernatural ways. And the more I learned, the easier it was for me to hear from Him when the time came for Him to reveal my purpose to me.
In this episode, I’m going to break down:

Todd Dulaney is a force in the gospel music industry. Todd has a unique way of bringing scripture to music, making him one of the greatest psalmists of our generation.
I got to sit down with Todd and discuss purpose, challenges to purpose, faith victories, and so much more!
Todd Dulaney spent most of his life pursuing a baseball career, playing 5 years of professional baseball. Now, his joy comes from serving the Lord in any and every capacity of life. He is steadfast and sold out to God and his eyes are focused on ministry and fulfilling His purpose. Dulaney’s dream is to write music, which ministers to the heart of God and touches the heart of man. Not what’s hot, but what delivers, what heals, what restores, music that God inhabits.
One thing that Todd desires, is to keep the message of Christ on display more than the brand of the artist.

Purpose is one of those things that tends to spark some cognitive dissonance. We have this idea of what we think purpose requires and how it will feel like to do the work of our purpose. We also have a belief, an often strong belief, about how we will respond to this call. But our purpose does not always come in the form of something that looks how we thought it would look.
So with this episode, I intend to bridge the gap between what you may be expecting your journey with purpose to look like with what it will actually require... and it will require your obedience.
I’ll incorporate some examples from the Bible and some examples from my own journey throughout the episode. I feel like I’m always telling y’all my business lol. In this episode I’ll cover:

"Sex. I don’t think we’re talking about it enough." This is how Mo Isom begins her life-changing book Sex, Jesus, and the Conversations the Church Forgot. This line hooked me, which led me to take this book with me on vacation.

The work of your purpose will continuously require you to build and create things. It can be tempting to do things your way as you go or even to listen to others about how to do something, instead of building how God told you to build. Cause let’s be honest. Sometimes what God says looks like the complete opposite of what the world or culture pushes as the correct way to do something. So I brought Keshia on to help us stay committed to building God’s way.
Keshia is an avid believer that God uses creativity as an avenue of healing for all of us. From the the young age of 4, she has been actively involved in various creative arenas such as dance, art, drama, and poetry. Her latest creative endeavor includes being the founder of Box Breaker LLC, a faith-based company that provides strategic direction and website design for visionaries ready to Brand God's Way. Keshia has 11 years of experience in marketing & project management for corporate and non-profit sectors, and 10 years of
ministry experience to now serve others as best as possible. She also shares colorful, bite-sized biblical content through her creatively key social community. She has a passion for seeing others walk boldly in their calling and breaking the boxes of fear and shames while doing it. She is a wife and a new mom to a baby girl and enjoys a good caramel coffee daily.
Keshia attributes all that she is today to the healing power of Jesus Christ. She echoes to you that you cannot achieve great things without being tested greatly
During our conversation in this episode we covered: * How God revealed her purpose to her * The difference between being capable of doing something and be called * How to not deviate from what God said * And much more
