Rich is a 25-year entertainment, consumer products, and sports marketing veteran who has conceptualized and executed award-winning product launch campaigns. He is the winner of the 2018 Major League Soccer Marketing Executive of the Year Award and was included on the 2019 Adweek’s L.A. Brand Stars list.

Prior to LAFC, he co-founded American-made menswear brand Exley, served as the Co-General Manager of the Los Angeles Matadors in the World Series of Boxing, was the Vice President of Marketing at Warner Bros. Television, and the Executive Director of Advertising and Promotion at CBS Paramount Television.

In this Episode we chat with Sam Roberts, Montreal native who was a violin player, surrounded by a vast range of musical influences, who eventually moved on to guitar and started a rock band with friends.

The Inhuman Condition became the best-selling independent EP in Canadian history and included a re-recorded version of “Brother Down” and the chart topper “Don’t Walk Away Eileen”.

In 2003 he released his first full-length album, We Were Born in a Flame. This year marks the 20-year anniversary for the Double-Platinum certified album, which was a huge hit in Canada and won JUNO Awards for Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year.

Roberts has since continued to release hit Platinum and Gold-certified albums, winning awards across the board and landing once of a lifetime performance opportunity such as at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.

The band just released “Projection” which is a dynamic alternative rock tune that blends introspective lyrics with the distinctive Sam Roberts Band sound, capturing the essence of self-discovery and vulnerability. With its infectious chorus and captivating verses, the single becomes a canvas of personal reflection for all.

“When the lines between fact and fiction have become so blurred, how do we measure our truest selves? What can we rely on? Hold on to?,said Sam Roberts. The new single “Projection” is seemingly a song with more questions than answers but, at its heart, there is a clear statement that love is still the one constant we can live by.”

n addition to the new single release, Sam Roberts Band are also excited to announce their 2024 North American tour, which will be the band’s first full tour since 2018, due to the pandemic-cancelled previous tour dates. The journey will kick off in their hometown Montréal, on February 2nd, and includes stops across Canada, select US cities and the United Kingdom.

In this Episode we chat with Joel Waterman is a Canadian footballer who plays for Montreal in the MLS and the Canadian Men’s National team and was named to Canada's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Born in Surrey, British Columbia and raised in the nearby small town of Aldergrove, Joel grew up with a soccer ball between his feet. What started as something to pass time evolved into an amazing journey that has led Joel to where he is today.

Joel believes that it’s his purpose to inspire the next generation of pro footballers in Canada. Joel’s sense of purpose drives him to be the best player he can be each and every time he steps out on the pitch.

Joel is also an ambassador for Mission 5 Million, and Goal Initiatives. Mission 5 Million fights global malnutrition by nourishing children worldwide, with over 110 million servings since 2009.

Goal Initiatives enables the next generation to play and benefit from soccer through funding and community events.
