Part two of The Pin Talks return to conversations that captivated us is the story of Basil - the youngest voice to ever feature on The Pin.
In 2017 The Pin team were floored during a live event, when a young person stood and posed the question, ‘How can I show that I am a proud African?'. That young person was Basil, and the question came at a time when conversations in media about African-Australian men were overwhelmingly negative.
What has Basil learned in the four years since he posed that question, and what is his personal experience of living in Australia as a proud and young African person?
