God wants to heal and bless us, He wants us to return to Him. Promises from God are of judgements and provisions specifically for us!
Faith is our foundation to a relationship with God. Are you setting the standard, or are you following God's standard?
Pilate brought forth and presented Jesus. He could find no fault in him. Behold Jesus and all that He sacrificed for us. Jesus is our savior. What are we sacrificing to share God's word?
Are you in God's will? Listen for Him, Listen to Him, and obey. God will provide you with the tools that you need.
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. All three made the world, and made us. Made us special. We need to listen, and allow the Holy Ghost to move.
The word of God should be more than an add-on to our life, it should be the foundation to our life. We should lean on God at all times, through the good times and through the bad times.
Jesus prayed for us. He prayed to God to reach out and touch us, to be with us in this world.
The Romans Road is a wonderful set of verses that can help lead a lost soul to God. What does each verse mean?
Jesus is God, and deserves to be glorified. What are you doing with your relationship with God?
God provides the Holy Spirit as a comfort and guide to us. Jesus told us of the Holy Spirit's coming. Do you have the Holy Spirit in you?
Are you living with Christ in your heart? Are you showing the fruits of your salvation, fruits of your love? God commands us to love one another, and obey His commandments.
Christians peace and joy is given to us through our belief in Jesus Christ. Do you have peace and joy?
Are you professing your Christianity through your actions, words, and the love you have for others?
We need to make sure that we are allowing God to direct our path. As with casting the nets, if we just do as we want, there is no guarantee to catch anything. If we don’t follow God’s direction, it is unlikely that we will have any great effect.
Are you letting God shine through you? Have you acknowledged the sacrifice that Jesus made for your life?
This example of Jesus’ compassion and God’s grace is what shines through to me. Jesus didn’t ok the sin. He is a God of second chances. He allows us to learn through His grace. The accusers didn’t stick around, because they were all convicted. They had all sinned in one fashion or another. It is important to note that we should correct sin when we find it out (specifically in us). And if we point out sin in another, to do so with grace, humility, and the spirit of reconciliation.
Do we bring our all to Jesus? Do we trust God to take over and take care of us?
In the account of Jesus feeding the 5,000, there wasn’t enough money to buy food for everyone. If you focus on just the account of the miracle of feeding them, you can miss a greater lesson. Philip let Jesus know that even if they bought bread with all the money they had, it wouldn’t be enough for everyone. Andrew may have gone asking, or the lad may have tried to gather Andrew’s attention, but they are both important as an example to us. The lad was willing to give up his entire lunch to Jesus and the disciples. Are we willing to give everything we have up to God? Are we willing to allow God to have control of what we have and trust that He will provide for us?
We also can learn from Andrew. A child approached him and offered up so little food that it was laughable in the face of feeding so many. Despite feeling that it was woefully inadequate, Andrew brought the lad and his lunch to Jesus. We can feel inadequate and just not up to a task, but if God has a hand in it, blessings will abound. It’s important to note that Andrew doubted the amount of food as being helpful, but he trusted that Jesus would be able to put it to use. Not only did Jesus make use of it, not only did it feed all of the 5,000, but after everyone was FULL, there were leftovers. If we follow God, and trust in Him, He can bless us so our cups overflow!

Remember that we all have doubts, we all worry whether we can do what God asks of us. Bring our talents, our gifts, our possessions to Him, and allow God to direct our hands to do His bidding.
