1 Corinthians 9 Paul’s talks about running in a race and running in such a way the we may obtain the prize. We are in a race! Here I will break down what that looks like and how it applies to us as well as things that will hinder us from running well and even finishing
Here we take into account the disciple Judas who walked with Jesus, heard His word, saw His wonders and signs, did His work but yet Judas had a problem... something else had his heart and it led to the betrayal of Jesus and his own destruction! Beloved, is your heart undivided?
When Jesus went to his friend Lazarus tomb, he came to resurrect Him and give him life again, in that moment Jesus gazed into the heavens and said "Father, thank You that You have heard me, i know that You always hear Me.."(paraphrased). Jesus was assured that the father heard Him. As believers we've been brought near to God into that same union and fellowship and sons of God. But how many of us believe and are assured that we are heard when we pray(other than answered prayers later)? What would it be like if we were so intimate with The Father that we knew he heard our every prayer? And how much more would that thrust us deeper into intimate fellowship with Him and intercessory prayer? Tune in my Friends! "So they took away the stone. Many of us entertain the idea of being called by God to have a personal life union relationship with Him but how many of us actually enter into it? Here i speak about the call Jesus gave to his disciples "Follow Me" and how that call was primarily relational and not just ministry business.
